Abstract

Teungku Muhammad Hasbi Ash-Shiddiqi was Muhammad Hasbi, he was born in Lhokseumawe, North Aceh on 10 March 1904 and died in Jakarta on 9 December 1975. As an Nusantara exegetes, HASBI presents its interpretation in the context of Indonesia. The interpretation certainly cannot be separated from its scientific discipline and culture of Indonesian society. To realize the fikih of Indonesian personality, Hasbi departed from the understanding that the jurisprudence is a living and ununiversal organism. One example of HASBI interpretation is about Friday prayers. Hasbi said that on the day of the Jumát there is no prayer of four rak'ahs of Dhuhr. Therefore. Anyone who can not or does not have time to follow the Friday prayers in congregation in the mosque still have to work Friday prayers either together or alone. According to Hasbi, there was no Zuhr prayer during Friday. Berjemaah and the preaching does not include the pillars or the legitimate requirements of the Friday.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the terminology of the Qur'an about human potential. This research is designed in the form of library research or library research that uses various library sources as a source of research data. The data studied were sourced from the Qur'an, books and research results of Muslim scholars and scholars. The data used is divided into two, primary and secondary data. Primary data includes the Qur'an which talks about the terminology of the Qur'an about human potential. Secondary data to support primary data, taken from books and relevant research results related to the focus of the study. The data analyst used the text analysis method, namely selecting key terms from the vocabulary of the Qur'an, determining the basic meaning and relational meaning and concluding and integrating these concepts into a one general concept. The results of this study are: First; The potential of Indra, mentioned in the Qur'an with three terms al-sam'u repeated 185 times, al-bashr repeated 139 times, and al-dhuq, repeated 48 times. Second, the potential of reason, etymologically, the term "aql" is mentioned in the Qur'an more than 49 words, which are collected in (dzakara), (faqiha), ('alima), (tadab bara), (tafakkur) and Ulu al -chapter. Third, the potential of the heart, the mashdar form of the root qalaba-yaqlibu-kalbuan which means turning or turning. The Qur'an uses the term heart to refer to the human heart, but the heart or heart In the Qur'an the word heart is mentioned 122 times spread over 45 letters and 112 verses, collected in the terms qalb, shadr, lubb, and fu'ād.

Abstract

Tafsir Al Qur'an Al Karim by Mahmud Yunus who is one of the pioneers for the study of tafseer in Indonesian language. As a work of early interpretation, this interpretation of Mahmud Yunus has a peculiarity and gives a unique impression, both from the systematic presentation and the charge in the explorative meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. Among the interesting sides of this commentary are the efforts of the authors to accommodate the phenomena occurring in society at the time. In other words, this commentary is a form of response to the author's anxiety about the problematic common in the Indonesian public, hereinafter referred to as the insight of Indonesian-ness.

Abstract

Harun Nasution telah berhasil menancapkan tonggak pembaharuan pemikiran Islam di Indonesia. Masuknya ide-ide pembaharuan tersebut membawa alam pemikiran Islam ke arah kebebasan berfikir dan penghargaan yang tinggi terhadap kekuatan akal manusia. Seluruh ide pembaharuan Harun Nasution tidak terlepas dari pemahaman beliau terhadap ayat-ayat al Qur’an. Oleh sebab itu adalah satu kajian yang sangat penting guna melihat bagaimana Harun menafsirkan ayat-ayat al Qur’an yang dikutipnya. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa Harun memberikan kepercayaan yang penuh kepada akal untuk menafsirkan al Qur’an, sehingga akan muncul satu penafsiran yang kontekstual yang sesuai dengan kekinian kita. Bagi Harun apapun bentuk penafsiran terhadap al Qur’an yang telah dilakukan oleh para mufassir tidak ada yang sakral. Kesakralan hanya terdapat pada ayat-ayat al Qur’an saja.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an always displays the style of language in various forms. The diversity of the structure and language style of the Qur'an shows that there is a certain meaning that is displayed behind the text of the verse. This article aims to reveal the forms of linguistic structures and meanings contained in the khabariyyah verses in the Qur'an so that they can provide an alternative understanding of the Qur'an that does not favor one group. And can provide a clear understanding of meaning, open as it is in accordance with the form of a typical sentence structure in the form of speech and the meaning contained in it.The method used is Linguistic Theory by collecting the configuration of kalam khabariyyah then analyzing its structure and meaning through the Syntact and semantic analysis approach in the Qur'an interpretation. This article concludes that the configuration of the stylistic structure of the verses with khabariyyah style in the Qur'an is expressed in two constructions, namely in the construction of the Jumlah ismiyyah and Jumlah fi'liyyah with various kind of its language style (uslub) there are : in the style of uslub al-Qashru, al-Taqdim wa al -Takhir, and al-Qasam. In terms of meaning, it shows that the Jumlah ismiyyah provides the permanent (Itsbat),eternal (Dawam) and continuous meaning (istimrar), while the Jumlah  fi'liyyah provides the occurrencemeaning (Huduts) that means the occurrence of an event at a certain time as well as the meaning of repetition (istimrar tajaddud)

Abstract

Ide-ide rasional Harun Nasution telah membawa perubahan besar dalam pemikiran Islam Indonesia. Penghargaan yang sngat besar kepada kedudukan akal, berkembangnya ide-ide Mu’tazilah serta munculnya faham pluralisme agama dan kesetaraan gender menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari pandangan harun di atas. Semua pandangan ini bermula dari pemahaman Harun Nasution sendiri terhadap ayat-ayat al Qur’an. Dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat al Qur’an dalam karya-karyanya, dominasi tafsir bi al Ra’yi jauh lebih besar. Harun cenderung menolak pandangan ulama klasik dalam memahami ayat, karena menurut anggapannya pandangan tersebut tidak lagi relevan dengan kekinian. Dengan menggali pemahaman Harun serta pemikirannya tentang tafsir akan membongkar ide awal pemikirannya.

Abstract

This article aims to explain maqâṣid al-Qur’ân according to M. Quraish Shihab and its application in interpreting verses related to the use of social media. The problem that will be answered in this article covers two main issues, namely how the perspective of maqâṣid al-Qur’ân according to M. Quraish Shihab and how it is applied in interpreting the verses of the use of social media. The method used is the thematic method, namely discussing verses based on themes. Fr om this study the authors concluded that according to M. Quraish Shihab there are six elements of a large group of universal goals of the al-Qur’ân, namely strengthening the faith, humans as caliphs, unifying books, law enforcement, callers to the ummah of wasathan, and mastering world civilization. The quality of information lies in the strength of the monotheistic dimension which is the highest peak of the Qur’anic maqâṣid. M. Quraish Shihab offers six diction which can be done by recipients of information in interacting on social media. Thus, it aims to usher in the knowledge and understanding of what is conveyed in carrying out human mission as caliph, enlightenment through oral and written, law enforcement, unifying mankind and the universe to the ummah of wasathan, and mastery of world civilization

Abstract

Keberadaan kaum penyandang cacat tidak dapat dinafikan dan merupakan bagian dari kehidupanmenusia. Berdasarkan teori ilmu sosial secara umum penyandang cacat dapat dikelompokkan menjaditiga, yaitu fisik, non fisik, dan ganda. Semua kelompok penyandang cacat ini bermuara kepadaketidakmampuan dan tidak berfungsinya organ-organ fisik (panca indra) maupun non fisik. Padatataran realita para penyandang cacat masih sering mendapatkan perlakuan diskriminasi dan stigmanegatif dari beberapa pihak. Tulisan ini berusaha untuk melihat bagaimana al-Qur’an berbicaramengenai penyandang cacat serta eksistensinya dalam tatanan hukum dan sosial. Terminologi yangdigunakan al-Qur’an untuk menunjukkan keberadaan penyandang cacat adalah adalah a’ma, akmah,bukm, dan shum. Terdapat 38 ayat yang tersebar dalam 26 surat dalam al Qur’an. Dari jumlahyang cukup banyak tersebut hanya ada lima ayat yang berbicara mengenai cacat fisik dan selebihnyaberbicara mengetani cacat non fisik. Dari tulisan ini dapat diketahui bahwa penyandang cacat menurutal-Qur’an orang yang memiliki kecacatan fisik dan teologis. Dari segi keberadaannya, mereka adalahsama dengan individu normal lainnya, baik dalam aspek hukum maupun sosial. Meskipun dalambeberapa hal dan kondisi memiliki kekhususan sebagai bentuk perlindungan.

Abstract

Muslims got mercy upon the provision of differences in reading al-Qur`an. The differences have made significant influence on the interpretation of the Holy Book. The commentators of al-Qur`an adopted the qira’at differences as an integral part of their interpretation. For example, Ibn Jarir al-Tabari who wrote Tafsir al-Tabari and Abdul Rauf Singkel who wrote Tafsir Turjuman al-Mustafid. Abdul Rauf Singkel was a famous Qur’anic exegesis scholar in the Indonesia Archipelago whose work became the main reference of Muslims alongside the archipelago. In interpreting the verses of al-Qur`an, Abdul Rauf put qira’at distinction as one of his focuses of interpretation. In his work, Shaikh Abdul Rauf cited only three of the available seven qira’ats that he considered mutawatir and valid. Among those three qira’ats is qira’at Imam Nafi’, qira’at Imam Abu Amr and qira’at Imam Hafash. This study has shown despite differences in the implication of the qira’ats, there also the differences in meaning and understanding. Shaikh Abdul Rauf merely provided information about the difference in readings rather than showing a difference of meaning contained in each of the differences

Abstract

Kedudukan Indonesia sebagai Negara muslim sunni terbesar di dunia mulai terusik dengan semakin berkembangnya kelompok Syi’ah. Kelompok ini mulai membentuk komunitas yang sebelumnya jarang sekali terdengar keberadaanya. Berbagai cara dilakukan untuk menunjukkan dan menyebarkan faham mereka, termasuk melalui karya ilmiah seperti buku, pengajian dan sebagainya. Kekhawatiran ini semakin menguat bila mana salah seorang ulama tafsir Indonesia, Prof. DR Quraish Shihab ikut memperkenalkan dan mengadopsi pandangan ulama Syia’ah dalam kitab Tafsirnya al Mishbah. Oleh sebab itu untuk melihat dengan jernih sejauh mana pengaruh tersebut, perlu dilakukan kajian, sehingga menjadi informasi tambahan bagi pembaca tafsir tersebut, sehingga dapat memilah mana yang dapat diamalkan dan mana yang hanya sekedar menjadi pengetahuan saja.
