Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of Operating Costs (ROA), level of capital adequacy (CAR), and Liquidity (QR) to Profitability (ROA) at the Islamic Banks in 2011-2014. This study used quantitative research methods. Source of research data are secondary data from the quarterly financial statements of Islamic Banks in 2011 to 2014 were obtained from the website. This study using path analysis because there are two models of the equation (substructure) with IBM SPSS application program. Purposive sampling technique is used to determine number of sample. The sample was seventh quarterly financial statements Islamic Bank (BRI Syariah, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Panin Syariah, BCA Syariah, Bank Mega Syariah, and Maybank Syariah) from 2011 to 2014, each bank was obtained 16 financial statements in order to obtain 112 data. The results of this study indicate that the Operating Costs (ROA), level of capital adequacy (CAR), and Liquidity (QR) had an influence on profitability (ROA). There are also indirect influence between the level of capital adequacy (CAR) to Profitability (ROA) through Liquidity (QR), the liquidity position (QR) as the weakening of the influence.

Abstract

This research started with students who had difficulty understanding the subject matter of Fiqh, this was because the teacher still dominantly used the lecture method. So the researcher chose the Role Play method as an alternative in learning Fiqh, because in the Islamic Judiciary chapter they also have to carry out practices so that students better understand what has been taught. This research was conducted at MAN 3 Jember, in this study there was a problem, namely about how to apply the role play method in the Fiqh subject of the Islamic justice chapter and how student learning outcomes related to the chapter on Islamic justice using the role play method. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes when studying Fiqh in the Islamic justice chapter by applying a role-play learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 3 for the academic year 2023/2024 which consisted of 29 students. This study used a qualitative approach and was carried out using Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consisted of two cycles. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and interviews using the method of increasing Fiqh learning outcomes. It can be seen that in the first cycle, students had a mastery level of 55.26% and in the second cycle, student mastery reached 81.57%. The results of the student learning tests in the second stage showed that there were only 3 students who did not complete and 34 people who had achieved the minimum completeness criteria of KKM from the Fiqh subject in class XI IPA 3 MAN 3 Jember. Apart from increasing learning outcomes, student activity in the learning process in class has also increased.

Abstract

Seiring dengan semakin menurunnya persentase tingkat penyebaran Covid-19 di berbagai daerah sehingga masyarakat muslim diizinkan untuk melaksanakan shalat berjama’ah di Masjid. Sehingga artikel ini ditulis dengan Tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan shalat berjama’ah di masjid pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dan menganalisis perspektif fiqih menyoal shaf berjarak dalam shalat berjama’ah. Diharapkan dengan adanya research ini dapat membuka paradigma pembaca terkait shaf berjarak dalam shalat berjama’ah sehingga tidak menimbulkan sikap saling menyalahkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan (Library Research). Sumber data yang digunakan dalam artikel ini berupa artikel jurnal, makalah, website, buku-buku yang diperoleh melalui website online selanjutnya dianalisis dan dideskripsikan dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasilnya Dari pembahasan dan hasil analisis penulis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa shaf berjarak dalam pelaksanaan shalat berjamaah di masjid terbagi menjadi beberapa kesimpulan hukum. Pertama, Shalat berjamaah dengan shaf berjarak tidak dianggap shalat berjama’ah, namun shalat tersebut sah dan masuk dalam kategori shalat sendiri, sehingga sebaiknya dilakukan di rumah masing-masing sebagaimana keputusan Majlis Eropa tentang Fatwa dan riset. Kedua, shalat dengan shaf berjarak sah dan tetap mendapatkan pahala shalat berjama’ah, ini sesuai dengan pendapat jumhur ulama mazhab Syafi’i, dan Hambali.

Abstract

This study aims to depict the marketing strategy implemented by The Heritage Palace in increasing sales and to describe the constraints and solutions applied by The Heritage Palace in marketing activities. This type of research is qualitative with a case study research design. Research sources were managers, employees, and tourists of The Heritage Palace. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study employed the source and method triangulation. The data analysis technique utilized interactive analysis in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results of this study indicated that the marketing strategy used by The Heritage Place in increasing sales was to determine the price according to the facilities obtained and conduct promotions by utilizing social media, newspapers, and television and collaborating with tour and travel agents. Heritage Place also had a constraint in performing marketing activities in the pandemic condition that made the government issue regulations to temporarily close tourist attractions. From this constraint, The Heritage had a solution to overcome problems by monitoring and evaluating the situation. These solutions make Heritage Place easier to make decisions to conduct marketing strategies according to government regulations that shift during the pandemic.

Abstract

Padang Timur District has the second-highest number of cases of child violence in Padang City, with 50% occurring in elementary school students and below. This program aims to improve students' knowledge about bullying prevention at SDIT Cendikia Andalas, one of the elementary schools in Padang Timur District. This activity uses a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The target of this activity is 23 fifth-grade students. The use of engaging media, such as the Snakes and Ladders game, to educate elementary school-aged children about bullying is one effective way to improve their knowledge. Evaluation of student knowledge is conducted using pretest and posttest questionnaires, which are then analyzed using a paired t-test. The results of the activity show that students' knowledge increased after playing the Snakes and Ladders game, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 17.00 (pretest) to 19.52 (posttest) with a p-value of 0.000. These findings suggest that the game is effective in enhancing students' understanding of various forms of bullying and strategies for prevention. Using the Snakes and Ladders game as a teaching tool is a good way to teach elementary school children how to prevent bullying. As an applied recommendation, this media can be used by teachers and schools as an engaging learning tool to strengthen bullying prevention efforts in the classroom.

Abstract

The relationship between religion and culture is a fundamental aspect in understanding the dynamics of religious life among Muslim communities, particularly in the Indonesian context, which is marked by ethnic diversity, local traditions, and indigenous value systems. Islam, as a religion that carries universal principles, emerges and develops through a dialogical interaction with local cultures, resulting in diverse expressions of Islamic practice. This article analyzes the major theories explaining the relationship between religion and culture, including the theory of Islamic universality and cultural particularity, acculturation, assimilation, hybridity, the anthropology of religion, and postcolonial perspectives, and examines their relevance to the development of contemporary Islamic education. The study employs a qualitative approach based on literature review, drawing from classical works and recent findings in reputable journals. The research findings indicate that the relationship between Islam and culture is not a binary opposition but rather interactive, adaptive, and creative. This interaction produces contextual religious practices without diminishing the core values of Islam. The relevance for Islamic education is evident in three main aspects: first, the need for a culturally responsive Islamic education curriculum; second, the integration of local values as a medium for internalizing Islamic teachings; and third, strengthening the paradigm of religious moderation through historical and anthropological understanding of Islamic practices in society. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive synthesis of theories on religion–culture relations and their practical implications for the development of Islamic education, an approach rarely explored in depth in previous studies. This research contributes to the argument that Islamic education can develop in a relevant and inclusive manner only by viewing culture as a dialogical partner, not as a threat to the purity of religious teachings. Thus, this article provides a theoretical and conceptual foundation for developing Islamic education that is moderate, contextual, and rooted in local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial maupun simultan antara promosi penjualan dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian, pada pengguna Tokopedia di Bekasi yang melakukan pembelian sejak Januari 2022. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui Google Form. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji R2 dengan software SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian diperoleh persamaan regresi 23,420 + 0,488 X1 + 0,296 X2, berdasarkan persamaan regresi diketahui promosi penjualan dan kualitas produk berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai R2 = 0,218, artinya naik turunnya variabel keputusan pembelian, dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas yaitu promosi penjualan dan kualitas produk sebesar 21,8%. Sedangkan sisanya 78,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of product quality and customer-perceived value on customer satisfaction at Seroja Pineapple Chips MSMEs in Dumai City. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. A sample of 103 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique from a population of 446 students of STIE Tuah Negeri Dumai with a 10% error rate. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 24. The results showed that product quality and customer perceived value partially and simultaneously have positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This finding indicates that increasing product quality and consumer-perceived value can increase customer satisfaction with Seroja pineapple chips
