Abstract

Hospitals are currently required to maintain their existence in the service field, so that they can maintain consumers or patients by paying attention to every factor that affects patient satisfaction. One of the ways hospitals can do this is by modifying the marketing mix and services that match patient expectations and satisfaction. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of the marketing mix on patient satisfaction at the X Surgical Specialty Hospital in Padang. This research was conducted by using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study sample was 50 patients or families of adult patients, willing to fill out questionnaires, able to communicate well, and not employees of the X Surgical Specialty Hospital in Padang or their families, who were selected using accidental sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the marketing mix (product, price, place, people, physical evidence, process, promotion) on patient satisfaction at the X Surgical Specialty Hospital in Padang. Thus, the X Surgical Specialty Hospital in Padang needs to retain its consumers or patients so as not to switch to other hospitals.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Waktu tunggu obat adalah jumlah waktu mulai pasien menyerahkan resep sampai dengan menerima obat. Waktu tunggu merupakan salah satu indikator nasional mutu pelayanan kesehatan dengan waktu tunggu obat maksimal 15 menit untuk obat non racikan dan 30 untuk obat racikan. Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari praktek kerja lapangan di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD dr Rasidin Kota Padang. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa tidak berjalannya SOP dengan baik, keterlambatan dalam pengentrian data BPJS dan gangguan jaringan menjadi penyebab panjangnya waktu tunggu obat di instalasi rawat jalan. Berdasarkan laporan survei standar pelayanan minimum waktu tunggu dan kepuasan pelanggan RSUD dr. Rasidin tahun 2022 diperoleh rerata waktu tunggu farmasi obat jadi di depo farmasi rawat jalan adalah 2 jam 36 menit. Sedangkan rerata waktu tunggu obat racikan adalah 4 jam 30 menit. Pelayanan farmasi rumah sakit merupakan salah satu kegiatan di rumah sakit yang menunjang pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu. Rencana perbaikan berupa penambahan alat dan bahan serta resosialisasi mengenai waktu tunggu pasien dengan pengoptimalan SOP yang telah ada. Metodologi: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode observasi. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan obat di RSUD dr Rasidin menggunakan metode konsumsi dengan metode pengadaan elektronik dengan e-catalog serta secara langsung. Metode penerimaan dengan melihat nomor batch¸dan expired date dengan system penyimpanan FIFO dan FEFO. Sistem pendistribusian dengan system desentralisasi. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melengkapi sarana dan prasarana dengan pengadaan blender obat, lumbang atau BOX Obat.

Abstract

Hypertension is a complex problem that can affect anyone over the age of 18. The problem of hypertension is still a world problem with the increasing population prevalence every year. Complications of hypertension can cause various diseases that lead to death. There are so many people who still do not know how to face this disease along with the risk factors. In society nowadays, a lot of misperceptions and myths the spread widely about this disease. Therefore, the author provides socialization regarding hypertension to the elderly from the Indonesian Catholic Women's Association. This activity was carried out for one day with 60 participants of various ages, with a range up to 81 years. Activities in the form of socialization, question and answer, and discussion which closed with blood pressure measurement. Seeing the enthusiasm of the participants even though they came from the elderly shows that there is a need to carry out routine socialization regarding health and promote regular health checks for the elderly in this organization in a wider coverage area

Abstract

Integrated Healthcare Center (IHC) is basic health activities, mostly for toddler, organized by, from and for the community. The numbers of IHC who run their activity since 2019 are 283,370 but only 173,750 (61.32%) which do the services regularly every month. The problem is, there are only 38,68% parents that bring their children to visit IHC to maintains their health. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors related to parents, especially the mother, bringing their children to visit IHC in Tanjung Batang Kapas Village which is part of Pancung Soal Health Center area, in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatera, Indonesia.  This is analytic research with cross sectional design, this research was carried out in January - July 2022. The population of this study was mothers who has baby under five, it is amounted in 114 people. Proportional random sampling technique was used to collect 89 samples. The data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using Chi Square test. The results of this study found that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p-value=0.044), attitude (p-value=0.000), education (p-value = 0.000), family support (p-value=0.015), motivation (p-value=0.000), the role of IHC cadres (p-value=0.000) with Toddler IHC Visits. In contrast, health workers roles (p-value=0.167) and parent occupation (p-value=0.326) did not have a connection of toddlers coming to IHC in Tanjung Batang Kapas Village in 2022.  It is expected that health workers will be more active in carring toddler to IHC by doing something interesting while weighing toddlers, doing immunization, and improving nutrition status  based on government programs, and cadres home visits to be encouraged by the head of  public health center by giving more information about the benefits of IHC so that the families can support mothers to came posyabdu once a month. Keywords:  IHC,  Public Health Centre, Toddler, Visit

Abstract

This service program aims to increase understanding and support for mental health in rural communities, especially in Kenagarian Sungai Tanang, West Sumatra. The main problems faced are lack of access to mental health services, stigma towards mental health problems, and lack of understanding of the importance of mental health at the family level. The aim of this activity is to increase public understanding about mental health, strengthen the role of families in providing support to family members who need it, and increase access to mental health services. The methods used include developing educational materials, implementing interactive workshops, mentoring, and program evaluation. The results of this activity show an increase in public understanding about mental health, an increase in the active role of families in providing support, expansion of access to mental health services, and a reduction in stigma towards mental health problems. This program makes a positive contribution in improving the mental health welfare of the Kenagarian Sungai Tanang rural community and provides direction for the development of similar programs in other rural areas.

Abstract

Gangguan tiroid, seperti hipertiroidisme dan hipotiroidisme, memiliki dampak signifikan pada kesehatan dan kualitas hidup individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi profil kadar Hormon Stimulasi Tiroid (TSH) dan hubungannya dengan berbagai kondisi kesehatan dalam populasi berusia lanjut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan total 100 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran kadar TSH dan evaluasi kondisi kesehatan responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis bivariat menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 10% responden mengalami hipertiroidisme, 9% mengalami hipotiroidisme, dan 81% memiliki kadar TSH normal. Kondisi kesehatan seperti autoimun, geriatri, kehamilan, nodul tiroid, obesitas, dan operasi tiroid menunjukkan variasi kadar TSH yang signifikan. Misalnya, 50% responden dengan nodul tiroid mengalami hipertiroidisme dan 33% mengalami hipotiroidisme, sementara 86% responden obesitas memiliki kadar TSH normal. Tidak ada kasus hipertiroidisme atau hipotiroidisme pada responden dengan dislipidemia, infertilitas, dan keguguran. Mayoritas responden dalam studi ini memiliki kadar TSH normal, meskipun terdapat variasi signifikan dalam kelompok dengan kondisi kesehatan tertentu. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pemantauan rutin kadar TSH pada populasi berisiko tinggi untuk mendeteksi dan mengelola gangguan tiroid secara efektif. Diperlukannya pengembangan strategi intervensi yang lebih baik dapat membantu dalam pengelolaan gangguan tiroid, terutama pada populasi lanjut usia dan kelompok dengan kondisi kesehatan spesifik.

Abstract

Waktu Tunggu pelayanan resep adalah lamanya waktu yang dihitung mulai pasien menyerahkan resep kepada petugas farmasi sampai dengan obat diterima oleh pasien. Berdasarkan standar pelayanan minimal, waktu tunggu pelayanan resep obat jadi yaitu ≤30 menit dan obat racikan yaitu ≤60 menit. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisis waktu tunggu pelayanan di instalasi farmasi rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti (RSI) Rahmah Padang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling kepada informan kunci. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu tunggu pelayanan farmasi rawat jalan RSI Siti Rahmah belum sesuai dengan standar. Rata-rata waktu tunggu mendapatkan obat racikan 2 jam 3 menit 3 detik, untuk waktu tunggu obat jadi adalah 1 jam 27 menit. Hal yang menjadi penghambat lamanya waktu tunggu adalah kurangnya jumlah sumber daya manusia, dokter yang tidak bisa dihubungi untuk konfirmasi resep serta adanya kendala alat. Dalam kegiatan pelayanan di instalasi farmasi sering ditemukan kendala pada lumpang, timbangan digital yang error, blender yang tidak berfungsi. Diharapkan rumah sakit segera melakukan rekruitmen untuk menambah tenaga kefarmasian serta melakukan pengajuan untuk penambahan alat dan melakukan pemeliharaan rutin.

Abstract

Growth and development in adolescence is a crucial phase in an individual's life, with long-term impacts on health and quality of life in adulthood. Teenagers often face nutritional problems such as being overweight, underweight, and eating wrong patterns. Adolescent diet is very important in meeting nutritional needs for their growth and development. However, consumption patterns are often not by recommended nutritional standards. Nutritional knowledge plays an important role in forming a balanced consumption pattern. Although adolescents may be knowledgeable about balanced nutrition, other factors such as personal preference, the influence of friends, and the availability of less healthy foods can influence their food choices. This study aims to examine the relationship between nutritional knowledge and consumption patterns in adolescents, especially in  Prof. Dr. Hamka II Padang junior high and high school. This research method is quantitative with an analytic survey research design using a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected from 59 junior and senior high school students and analyzed using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and consumption patterns in adolescents (p=0.018). Adolescents with good nutritional knowledge tend to have better consumption patterns, while adolescents with poor nutritional knowledge tend to have poor consumption patterns. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase adolescent nutrition knowledge and provide nutrition counseling regularly. This will help them make healthier food choices and support optimal growth and development.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kepuasan kerja para perawat dapat sangat dipengaruhi oleh beban kerja yang mereka hadapi, sebuah pertimbangan penting mengingat dampaknya terhadap perawatan pasien. Ketika para perawat merasa tidak puas dalam peran mereka akibat tantangan yang terkait dengan beban kerja, hal itu dapat menyebabkan kekecewaan dan ketidakpuasan, yang pada akhirnya akan memengaruhi kualitas perawatan yang diberikan. Beban kerja yang tinggi tidak hanya memperpanjang waktu tanggapan perawat terhadap kebutuhan dan keluhan pasien tetapi juga memengaruhi ketepatan waktu mereka selama pergantian shift. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara beban kerja dan kepuasan kerja di antara perawat rawat inap di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Jambi, dengan melihat indicator Fasilitas, Gaji, Hubungan Kerja, Kesesuaian Kerja, Pengawasan dan Promosi Jabatan. Metode: Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang, penelitian ini dilakukan antara Agustus 2023 dan Januari 2024 di antara perawat rawat inap (penyakit dalam, bedah, dan anak) di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Jambi. Populasi studi terdiri dari 54 perawat, dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS, dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian utama serta Analisis univariat dan bivariat, menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Temuan menunjukkan bahwa 55,6% perawat mengalami beban kerja yang berat, sementara 61,1% menyatakan ketidakpuasan terhadap pekerjaan mereka. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara beban kerja (p-value = 0,03) dan kepuasan kerja (disemua indicator) perawat rawat inap (penyakit dalam, bedah dan anak) di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Jambi. Kesimpulan: Semua indicator kepuasan berupa fasilitas, gaji, hubungan kerja, keseuaian kerja, pengawasan dan promosi jabatan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan beban kerja perawat rawat inap di RSUD H. Abstract

The medical resume form is a summary of all patient care and treatment that has been carried out by health workers signed by the doctor. The completeness of medical resume filling in Psychiatric hospital Prof. HB. Saanin Padang only reaches 80% from the 200 patient each month. The purpose of this study was to analyze the completeness of medical resume written by the doctor in Psychiatric hospital Prof. HB. Saanin Padang. The Data collection techniques using observation, documents and interviews. Using 200 medical resumes sample in January 2023 patients. The results showed that the highest percentage of incompleteness was found in the discrepancy between the DPJP's signature and the stamp on the patient's medical resume by 5%. Adding to this the errors in the placement of writing primary diagnoses with secondary diagnoses by 5%. The conclusion that the highest incompleteness occurs is the discrepancy between the DPJP's signature and the stamp. Suggestions from researchers are conducting socialization by preparing TOR coordination with the field of Education and Training.
