Abstract

An understanding of the Work of Christ for believers has great significance. Theologically the work of Christ in death, resurrection and ascension is a series that influences many doctrines in Christianity. But for the Indonesian Faithful Christian Church members, it is still an interesting topic for them. most do not understand it well, and other things that seem ordinary. The results of this community service show how enthusiastic they are about intensive teaching deepening. It is hoped that there will be an increase in understanding that can impact the congregation's spiritual life, which is expressed in daily life.

Abstract

 The story of Job in religious literature has become a symbol of spiritual resilience and steadfastness of faith in facing life's challenges. This article proposes a qualitative approach to understand how the story of Job can become a solid foundation for faith in facing life's problems. Through qualitative analysis of the narrative and moral message of the story of Job, this article explores the spiritual values ​​contained in it. Using qualitative research methods, this article highlights themes such as steadfastness of faith, patience, God's justice, and mental and spiritual strengthening. Through this approach, this article aims to provide a deeper understanding of the relevance of the story of Job in the context of modern human life, as well as reveal how this story can be a source of inspiration and spiritual strength for individuals facing life's trials.

Abstract

Abstract: At this time, all aspects of each individual's life will be supported by technology. Industrial revolution 4.0 is not over yet, now Society 5.0 has arrived. This shows that the changing times, and the development of culture, is a reality that the church must face. How the role of church leaders in dealing with these challenges is highlighted. To answer this, the author uses a descriptive qualitative approach that is seen from the existing phenomena, either directly or through other literature. The role of leaders in providing spiritual guidance is so very important, church leaders must return to their functions to preach, teach, and serve as a form of love for God and fellow human beings. Church leaders must realize that the use of technology in church services is not necessarily accepted by all circles. All the conveniences presented in technology media have an impact on the growth of the congregation. Christian leaders must set an example for the congregation by being an example in their lives, and providing spiritual and social guidance. Abstrak: Pada masa ini, seluruh sendi kehidupan setiap individu hendak disokong oleh teknologi. Belum usai Revolusi industri 4.0, kini telah hadir Society 5.0. Hal tersebut menunjukkan, bahwa perubahan zaman, perkembangan budaya, merupakan suatu kenyataan yang harus dihadapi gereja. Bagaimana peran pemimpin gereja menghadapi tantangan tersebut begitu sangat disorot. Untuk menjawab hal tersebut, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilihat dari fenomena yang ada, baik secara langsung ataupun melalui literatur lainnya. Peran pemimpin dalam memberikan pembinaan kerohanian begitu sangat penting, pemimpin gereja mesti mengembalikan kepada fungsinya untuk memberitakan, mengajarkan, dan melayani sebagai bentuk kasihnya kepada Tuhan dan sesama manusia. Pemimpin gereja mesti menyadari bahwa, penggunaan teknologi dalam layanan gereja tidak serta-merta diterima semua kalangan. Semua kemudahan yang tersaji dalam media teknologi, berdampak juga kepada pertumbuhan jemaat. Pemimpin Kristen mesti memberikan keteladanan kepada jemaat dengan menjadi contoh dari kehidupannya, memberikan bimbingan rohani, dan juga sosial.

Abstract

Maintaining the original cultural identity within a multicultural society amidst rapid globalization while remaining open to external changes and influences is a significant challenge. This tension is exacerbated by the impact of information technology, which can disseminate foreign values and ideologies, particularly affecting the youth. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, involving research that generates descriptive data based on the community's statements that the author investigates. The research aims to describe the phenomena occurring and underscores the need for education to uphold values aligned with national identity and manage cultural diversity wisely to prevent social conflicts. Education plays a crucial role in the process of socialization and individual development, serving not only as a means of transferring knowledge but also in shaping attitudes, values, and positive behaviors within the community. Through education, individuals can become people who appreciate diversity and contribute positively to diverse communities. Multicultural education, which emphasizes the importance of respecting diversity, is key to addressing social and cultural conflicts in Indonesia's diverse society. Additionally, quality education helps individuals adapt to the challenges of globalization while preserving local cultural identity, thus supporting the balance between global openness and the preservation of local values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, riset pustaka, dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam Pendidikan Kristen di era digital, serta mengembangkan strategi inovatif untuk menjembatani kesenjangan generasi antara guru dan peserta didik. Masalah yang dikaji adalah bagaimana menjaga relevansi dan efektivitas Pendidikan Kristen di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital. Mengacu pada masalah yang diidentifikasi, penelitian ini menawarkan konsep terbaru, yaitu; integrasi komprehensif teknologi digital dengan prinsip-prinsip pedagogis Pendidikan Kristen. Pendekatan pedagogis yang dimaksudkan adalah, strategi Pendidikan Kristen yang berfokus pada inovasi dan kreativitas dalam penyampaian pengajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk menjembatani kesenjangan generasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, serta mendukung pertumbuhan akademis dan spiritual generasi digital.

Abstract

This article is the result of a proposal for the construction of Simple Apartments at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja as a solution to address the issue of limited housing for students and staff. This proposal is motivated by the high demand for affordable and nearby housing, as well as the limited land around the university. The Simple Apartments are expected to provide adequate, safe, and comfortable living facilities at an affordable cost. This development is also designed to support academic and non-academic activities and improve the quality of life for its residents. Through this approach, the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja can make a positive contribution to the well-being of the campus and surrounding community. This study outlines the planning, design, and feasibility analysis of the construction project, as well as identifies potential challenges and solutions that can be implemented. It is hoped that this proposal can serve as a model for other educational institutions in providing quality housing facilities for students and staff.

Abstract

This article discusses the important role of Christian religious education in facilitating intercultural cooperation in Indonesia, which is a country with a pluralistic society. Religious education not only serves to build individual morals and character, but also serves as a bridge to create understanding and tolerance between different groups. By prioritizing the values of peace and mutual respect, Christian religious education has the potential to reduce conflict and promote harmony in a diverse society. Therefore, education about pluralism and the rights of adherents of other religions in the religious education curriculum is very important, in order to strengthen social solidarity and intercultural cooperation.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is a nation which is often called a multicultural nation, in which there are various religions, ethnicities, races, even languages ​​and cultural customs. This research was conducted so that readers realize that living amidst a diverse society is not easy, so it is necessary to have a sense of love and tolerance within oneself to produce harmony. This is in line with the basic Christian faith in love and harmony. Then what is the role of Christian Religious Education in maintaining tolerance in diverse communities, for example, from religion, ethnicity, culture and so on.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of the Christian Religious Education (PAK) curriculum in improving the spirituality of youth in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, this study involved in-depth interviews with teachers, students and practitioners of Christian Religious Education to obtain a holistic perspective regarding the influence of the curriculum on the formation of the spirituality of the younger generation. The research results show that the PAK curriculum has an important role in instilling moral values, strengthening faith, and forming the character of Christian youth. The implementation of a relevant and contextual curriculum allows young people to understand and appreciate religious teachings more deeply, so as to improve the quality of their relationships with God and each other. This research also found that there are challenges in implementing a curriculum that is able to adapt to current developments and technology without ignoring the substance of spirituality. Therefore, the success of the PAK curriculum in increasing youth spirituality is highly dependent on the active involvement of educators and educational institutions in creating an environment that supports learning that is holistic and relevant to the spiritual needs of today's youth.

Abstract

This study explores the personal competencies of Christian leaders in the church context. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this research analyzes biblical texts and related literature to understand the values and principles underlying effective Christian leadership. The primary focus of this research is on the characteristics of leaders that reflect Christ’s teachings, such as humility, love, and integrity. Additionally, this study discusses the challenges faced by Christian leaders in serving the congregation and how they can overcome these obstacles through spiritual development and community building. The results are expected to provide insights into best practices in leadership, as well as recommendations to strengthen faith communities and enhance the effectiveness of church ministry. By understanding Christian leadership in depth, it is hoped that better leaders can emerge, capable of inspiring and empowering congregations in carrying out the church’s mission.
