Abstract

A Christian Religious Education teacher is a leader who never knows what it means to be tired in any situation where a teacher wants to make his students succeed in achieving a desired goal, of course the goal in question is good, such as achieving an ideal. Teachers as producers of a generation of great leaders are educated by great teachers, teachers must instill leadership values ​​for their students, both from material or direct practice in scouting extracurricular activities and so on. PAK teachers are a very noble and important profession in forming a generation that can lead the nation and state in the future, a teacher does not only act as a teacher, but also as a leader who can be a role model for his students. Leadership remains the most important part of human life, leaders are identical to teachers, when he learns from great people then he has the potential to become a great leader. Therefore, the role of PAK teachers is very important in order to produce a generation of leaders, especially in Indonesia, teachers must be prosperous so that they focus on teaching and educating their students. Teachers must focus on teaching and becoming great leaders among their students.

Abstract

Instilling a Christian leadership spirit since adolescence can have a very important influence on the Christian environment or life both in non-Christian environments Christian leadership can also shape a person’s individual character and instill Christian values in the surrounding environment, thus providing a good example for fellow christians both in non-Christian enviroments Christians leadership is not only about how potential leaders can lead others but must also be able to lead themselves in today’s digital era this article discusses the improtance of instilling a christian leadership spirit since adolescence in the current digital era through a holistic approach, so that each individual can lead themselves before leading others and can provide Khristian values in everyday life the method used in this study is a literature study that examines literature in the process of colleting opinions from various literature analyses of other sources that are in accordanc with the topic of research of study from the study show that instilling a Christian leadership spirit can be applied through our spiritual actibities, our spiritual awakening such as prayer, worship or other fellowship in conclusion, instilling a Christians leadership since adolescence in the current digital era can help someone to shape their character and can bring themselves to be an example of Christ for their environment.

Abstract

Service-based leadership is a leadership approach that prioritizes devotion to others as the center of a leader's function. In the Christian view, this model is rooted in the example set by Jesus Christ who came to serve, not to be served (Mark 10:45). The concept of servant leadership emphasizes values such as simplicity, love, sacrifice, and moral responsibility towards those being led. This study aims to explore how servant leadership influences and shapes the formulation of vision and mission in the context of Christian organizations or ministries. Vision and mission not only function as strategic guidelines, but also reflect the calling and obedience to God's will. A Christian leader who adopts the principle of servant leadership will create a vision that focuses on the common good, spiritual growth, and empowerment of community members. Meanwhile, the mission is designed to manifest the love of Christ in real terms through actions and programs that have a broad impact. In this context, sensitivity to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, integrity in leadership, and the ability to motivate and support the development of others are needed. This study concludes that servant leadership from a Christian perspective not only functions well in organizations, but also strengthens the spirituality and unity of the body of Christ. Therefore, the formulation of the vision and mission resulting from the principle of serving not only reflects the direction, but also becomes a testimony of faith that lives in the community. Thus, servant leadership becomes a strong foundation in building a Christian organization that is relevant, impactful, and oriented towards the values of the kingdom of God, and is able to answer the challenges of the times with love, exemplary behavior, and sincere devotion and glorify God in service.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penguatan literasi elektoral berbasis nilai Kristiani sebagai model edukasi politik bagi masyarakat Sulawesi Barat dalam pemilihan legislatif. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah maraknya praktik politik transaksional dan minimnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang korelasi antara nilai-nilai kristiani dengan praktik berdemokrasi yang sehat, yang tercermin dari tingginya kasus politik uang dan kecenderungan memilih berdasarkan imbalan material. Metode pelaksanaan program dilakukan dalam empat tahap sistematis: (1) pembentukan tim dan penyusunan materi yang mengintegrasikan nilai kepemimpinan alkitabiah, (2) sosialisasi ke gereja-gereja melalui koordinasi dengan para pendeta dan majelis, (3) pendekatan literasi elektoral melalui seminar dan dialog interaktif, serta (4) pertemuan dengan berbagai elemen masyarakat untuk perumusan komitmen bersama. Hasil menunjukkan transformasi signifikan dalam perilaku politik masyarakat Kristen di Sulawesi Barat, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kesadaran kritis dalam mengevaluasi calon legislatif berdasarkan karakter dan integritas, bukan sekadar pertimbangan material. Program ini berhasil membangun pemahaman kolektif tentang pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam proses pemilihan legislatif, yang dibuktikan dengan antusiasme tinggi masyarakat dalam berpartisipasi pada setiap tahapan kegiatan.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has changed the landscape of Christian religious education, introducing new challenges to the role of Christian Religious Education  teachers as spiritual leaders. This study aims to explore the role of PAK teachers in assuming spiritual responsibilities in the evolving digital age. Adopting a qualitative approach and literature review method, this study investigated how PAK teachers face and respond to technological developments in the context of Christian religious learning. Data analysis highlighted key challenges faced by PAK teachers, such as the negative influence of social media and students' lack of interest in Christian religious education, as well as the strategies they use to fulfill their role as spiritual leaders. The findings show that PAK teachers take innovative approaches, including the utilization of technology as a tool to enhance spiritual learning, building deep relationships with students, and strengthening parental and church community involvement. The implication of this study is the importance of increased support for PAK teachers in facing spiritual challenges in the digital age, as well as the importance of developing learning strategies that are relevant to the evolving technological context. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the role of PAK teachers as spiritual leaders in the midst of ever-changing technological developments

Abstract

Abstract: Character education and Christian values ​​play a significant role in shaping the faith and personality of students aged 16-18 years. Based on 1 Timothy 4:12, students aged 16-18 years are called to be role models in terms of speech, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity. At this stage, students face various social, moral, and spiritual challenges that require a solid foundation of faith. Therefore, education based on Christian values ​​contributes to helping them develop integrity, love, responsibility, and a life that is pleasing to God. Through spiritual guidance, students are encouraged to live out their faith in every aspect of life. The approach applied is a qualitative approach that allows researchers to understand the phenomenon in depth through the interpretation of narrative data. With this approach, they not only develop in academic knowledge, but also in Christian character that allows them to be a light to the world. The purpose of this study is to develop an effective character education model, based on Christian values, to support the growth of students' faith aged 16-18 years. The result of this development is students who have strong faith, solid morals, and a life attitude that reflects Christ, so that they are able to face life's challenges with confidence and wisdom. Keywords: character education; Christian values; faith growth, 1 Timothy 4:12   Abstrak: Pendidikan karakter dan nilai-nilai Kristiani memainkan peranan yang signifikan dalam membentuk iman serta kepribadian siswa yang berusia 16-18 tahun. Berdasarkan 1 Timotius 4:12, siswa yang berada dalam rentang usia 16-18 tahun, dipanggil untuk menjadi teladan dalam hal perkataan, perilaku, kasih, kesetiaan, dan kesucian. Pada fase ini, siswa menghadapi beragam tantangan sosial, moral, serta spiritual yang memerlukan dasar iman yang kokoh. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Kristiani berkontribusi dalam membantu mereka untuk mengembangkan integritas, kasih, tanggung jawab, serta kehidupan yang berkenan kepada Tuhan. Melalui bimbingan rohani, siswa didorong untuk menghidupi iman mereka dengan nyata dalam setiap aspek kehidupan.  Pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami fenomena secara mendalam melalui interpretasi data naratif. Dengan pendekatan ini, mereka tidak hanya berkembang dalam pengetahuan akademik, tetapi juga dalam karakter Kristiani yang memungkinkan mereka menjadi terang bagi dunia. Tujuan dari penilitian ini untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter yang efektif, berbasis nilai-nilai Kristiani, untuk mendukung pertumbuhan iman siswa pada usia 16–18 tahun. Hasil dari pengembangan ini adalah siswa yang memiliki iman yang kuat, moral yang kokoh, dan sikap hidup yang mencerminkan Kristus, sehingga mereka mampu menghadapi tantangan kehidupan dengan keyakinan dan kebijaksanaan. Abstract

The generational gap between Baby Boomers and Gen Z in Indonesian political leadership creates significant challenges in leadership regeneration and political organization effectiveness, exacerbated by fundamental differences in leadership paradigms, communication preferences, and decision-making approaches. This study aims to analyze and develop an integrative leadership model based on the principles of Jesus' leadership to bridge the generation gap in the context of Indonesian political democracy. The methodology uses a qualitative approach with comprehensive literature analysis, including biblical studies on Jesus' leadership, academic literature on leadership theory, and generational dynamics. Jesus' leadership model offers a transformative framework that integrates traditional values with contemporary innovations through servant leadership and bridging leadership. The implementation of a collaborative leadership framework has shown significant effectiveness in improving bilateral knowledge transfer, reducing generational polarization, and strengthening multi-generational participation. The study concludes that the contextual adaptation of Jesus' leadership principles can create a sustainable and inclusive leadership model in Indonesia's political democracy.   Abstrak Kesenjangan generasi antara Baby Boomer dan Gen Z dalam kepemimpinan politik Indonesia menciptakan tantangan signifikan dalam regenerasi kepemimpinan dan efektivitas organisasi politik, diperparah oleh perbedaan fundamental dalam paradigma kepemimpinan, preferensi komunikasi, dan pendekatan pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mengembangkan model kepemimpinan integratif berbasis prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan Yesus untuk menjembatani kesenjangan generasi dalam konteks demokrasi politik Indonesia. Metodologi menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur komprehensif, meliputi studi Alkitabiah tentang kepemimpinan Yesus, literatur akademik tentang teori kepemimpinan, dan dinamika generasi. Model kepemimpinan Yesus menawarkan kerangka transformatif yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tradisional dengan inovasi kontemporer melalui kepemimpinan yang melayani dan kepemimpinan yang menjembatani. Implementasi kerangka kerja kepemimpinan kolaboratif menunjukkan efektivitas signifikan dalam meningkatkan transfer pengetahuan bilateral, reduksi polarisasi generasional, dan penguatan partisipasi multi-generasi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa adaptasi kontekstual prinsip kepemimpinan Yesus dapat menciptakan model kepemimpinan berkelanjutan dan inklusif dalam demokrasi politik Indonesia.

Abstract

Cultural shifts driven by digital technology have significantly influenced educational processes, including Christian education. First, children in the digital era are exposed to various religious perspectives through digital media, which can affect the formation of their religious identity. Second, the role of Christian education in shaping religious identity has become increasingly complex amid the pluralistic and sometimes contradictory flow of information. This study aims to explore the impact of Christian education on the formation of children's religious identity in the digital era, as well as to identify the emerging challenges and opportunities. Employing a qualitative research method based on case studies and digital media content analysis, this research offers a novel perspective on the effectiveness of Christian educational approaches in the modern context. The findings indicate that Christian education still holds a strong potential in shaping religious identity, but it requires adaptive educational strategies that are more relevant to digital dynamics. The holistic conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrating technology in Christian education to strengthen children's religious identity in the digital era.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) plays a crucial role in building religious tolerance in a diverse society. PAK does not only focus on Christian teachings, but also seeks to shape students' morals, attitudes, and spirituality through an approach that is relevant to various age levels. Thus, this education provides a solid foundation for understanding universal human values. PAK emphasizes the importance of tolerance in a pluralistic society, respects religious diversity, and accepts differences as part of a complex social structure. In this context, PAK teaches students to see differences as a source of strength and cultural richness, not as a barrier. This education also encourages the development of empathy and concern for others, which are very important in building intergroup relationships.Furthermore, PAK actively seeks to expand understanding of the values ​​of commonality between religions through dialogue and seminars. These activities involve not only students but also parents and local communities and create constructive discussion forums. Using social media as a means to spread messages of taboos and respond quickly to religious issues is also an effective strategy given its broad impact. PAK also contributes to poverty alleviation and community empowerment, regardless of religion, with programs that focus on improving basic needs and quality of life.A commitment to justice and human rights is the foundation of all initiatives, and all stakeholders are asked to play an active role in creating positive change. Therefore, PAK aims to build a peaceful, harmonious, and inclusive society that values ​​differences and avoids conflict. Through continuing education and open dialogue, our goal is to equip future generations with an attitude of mutual respect and harmonious coexistence with diversity.

Abstract

Indonesia is a countryrich in cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and religious diversity, which requires ongoing efforts to maintain social harmony. However, this diversity also presents unique challenges, particularly concerning potential social conflicts due to differences in values and beliefs. Christian Religious Education (CRE) plays an important role in shaping the character and attitudes of students to enable them to live harmoniously in a pluralistic society. CRE not only focuses on teaching religious doctrines but also imparts universal values, such as love, tolerance, and justice, which can support the creation of a peaceful society. By internalizing these values, students are expected to understand and respect differences and contribute to communal welfare. Nevertheless, implementing CRE in a diverse society also faces various challenges that require synergistic support from various stakeholders. This study aims to deepen the understanding of CRE’s contribution to creating harmonious living in Indonesia’s diverse society and to identify optimal strategies to enhance CRE’s role in educating the younger generation to coexist peacefully.
