Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti penggunaan analisis pasangan dalam percakapan antara Boy William dan Choi Si-Won dalam Kanal Youtube Bw’s. Penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskritif kualitatif ini dilakukan untuk melihat analisis pasangan dalam percakapan yang terjadi antara Boy William (B) dan Choi Si-Won (C). Penelitian dengan menggunakan kajian pragmatic ini berupaya untuk melihat bentuk pasangan dalam sebuah percakapan di kanal Youtube. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dari rekaman antara Boy William dan Choi Si-Won. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat bentuk greeting-greeting sebanyak 5,263%, Requesting-agreement sebanyak 5,263%, Assessment-Agreement sebanyak 21,053%, Question-answer sebanyak 63,158%, dan Leave-taking sebanyak 5,263%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa analisis percakapan secara berpasangan berjalan dengan baik dalam kegiatan komunikasi di kanal Youtube.  Kata kunci: Analisis Pasangan Percakapan, Kanal Youtube, Pragmatik

Abstract

Philosophy is the result of in-depth human thinking about reality and efforts to understand that reality which of course must be carried out according to certain rules. As for language is a sound system that is used to generate thoughts or feelings that can be studied based on a philosophical view. Analytic philosophy of language has an important role in language development, such as the emergence of new words, synonyms, acronyms, and more perfect grammatical structures. Language is not only seen as a means or medium of communication, but more than that language has its own identity which also discusses itself philosophically or based on philosophical studies which has a physical one in the form of language structures,  writing forms, and language symbols. which bring the development of language. Key words: Language, language analytic philosophy, rules, and physical form

Abstract

Kabupaten Bangkalan yang terletak di Pulau Madura memiliki tempat-tempat wisata yang bagus, seperti pantai, bukit, tempat ziarah dan wisata lainnya. Namun sayangnya, keindahan tersebut belum banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat luas karena kurangnya promosi dari pemerintah setempat. Oleh karena itu, poster wisata digital menjadi salah satu solusi untuk menigkatkan jumlah wisatawan di Bangkalan. Dalam sebuah poster wisata, tentunya terdapat unsur bahasa yang berisi ajakan untuk berkunjung ke tempat wisata tersebut. Salah satu unsur bahasa yang menarik untuk dikaji adalah penggunaan tuturan direktif ajakan yang. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeksripsikan strategi kesopanan dalam tuturan direktif pada poster digital sebagai upaya untuk mengembangkan wisata di Bangkalan. Poster wisata yang dibuat dengan menggunakan tiga Bahasa yaitu bahasa Indonesia, Madura, dan Inggris perlu dikaji agar masyarakat lebih mengerti tuturan yang disampaikan. Metode peneltian yang digunakan adalah metode deksriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori strategi kesopanan Brown dan Levinson (1987). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tuturan direktif yang digunakan di dalam poster dibuat dengan menggunakan strategi kesantunan terus terang (Bald or record) yang berfungsi untuk memberikan informasi secara langsung kepada lawan bicara yaitu untuk mengajak pembaca untuk berkunjung ke tempat wisata di area Bangkalan, Madura. Tidak hanya itu, terdapat satu data menggunakan strategi kesantunan positif dengan menggunakan strategi memahami keinginan mitra tutur. Secara keseluruhan, tuturan yang digunakan sudah menggunakan strategi tuturan yang tepat sesuai dengan konteks pengguna bahasa tersebut. Abstract

Three-year-old children have the ability to use speech in the form of indirect speech as an effort to convey their intentions or desires to others. This research was conducted in an effort to see the pragmatic abilities possessed by 3-year-old children. A pragmatic approach with a qualitative descriptive research method is used to analyze the pragmatic abilities of 3-year-old children. Data collection techniques are carried out using recording techniques. Data was taken for one month from February to March 2023. The data in this study used a single subject in children aged 3 years. The results showed that the research subjects with a single case in children aged 3 years had good skills in using indirect speech. Indirect speech used by a single subject is done to get the wishes according to the child's expectations. Communication between parents and single subjects is also considered successful because indirect speech can be well understood by both parties, namely parents and children. Pragmatically, it can be seen that the speaker uses indirect speech to the speaker only at certain times and according to the context of the conversation so that the speaker can understand the intent conveyed by the speaker. Keywords: Indirect Speech, Pragmatics, and Communication

Abstract

The Indonesian Ulema Council's (MUI) fatwa on interfaith greetings has generated significant debate within Indonesia's religious and socio-legal landscape, particularly regarding its implications for pluralism and interreligious harmony. This study conducts a Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah–based analysis of the fatwa within the broader discourse of contemporary human rights. Using a qualitative textual approach, it examines how the fatwa articulates the objectives of Islamic Law (maqāṣid), especially in balancing the protection of faith (ḥifẓ al-dīn) with the demands of social cohesion in a religiously diverse society. The analysis is positioned in dialogue with contemporary human rights norms, drawing selectively on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam (CDHRI) to contextualise the fatwa's normative orientation. The findings indicate that while Western human rights discourse tends to emphasise individual autonomy, freedom of expression, and the neutrality of religious symbols, Islamic human rights frameworks foreground the primacy of Sharīʿah in regulating religious interactions. Within this normative landscape, the MUI fatwa seeks to preserve core Islamic values while acknowledging the importance of maintaining respectful interfaith relations in a pluralistic society. Academically, this study contributes to current scholarship by demonstrating how Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah can serve as a mediating analytical framework between Islamic legal reasoning and global human rights discourse. It offers a more nuanced understanding of how fatwas function not merely as legal pronouncements but also as instruments of socio-religious negotiation in multicultural contexts. Moreover, the study provides a conceptual bridge for integrating maqāṣid-based reasoning into contemporary discussions of religious freedom, tolerance, and interfaith engagement, highlighting the potential of Islamic legal theory to enrich broader human rights conversations constructively in Muslim-majority societies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran teks persuasif menggunakan Canva, uji produk mahasiswa, dan penilaian mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain mix method dan dilaksanakan di salah satu universitas di Jawa Timur. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada Oktober 2023 dengan melibatkan 33 mahasiswa dari Program Studi Sosiologi sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dosen mendapatkan penilaian 89,5% pada saat mengajar materi teks persuasif di kelas, (2) hasil penilaian terhadap produk yang dibuat mahasiswa dengan penilaian yang bagus, dan (3) hasil penilaian terhadap respons mahasiswa menunjukkan nilai 3,57 yang berarti mahasiswa senang dengan pembelajaran menggunakan Canva untuk membuat teks persuasif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Canva efektif dalam penulisan teks persuasif untuk membuat poster wisata digital berbasis kearifan lokal.Utilizing the Canva App as a Learning Media for Persuasive Text Writing in Digital Travel PosterThis study aims to describe persuasive text learning using Canva, student product testing, and student assessment of the learning process. This research uses a mixed-methods design and was carried out at one of the universities in East Java. Data collection was carried out in October 2023 by involving 33 students from the Sociology Study Program as samples. The results showed that: (1) lecturers received an 89.5% score when teaching persuasive text material in class, (2) assessment results of products made by students with good assessments, and (3) assessment results of student responses showed a score of 3.57 which means that students are happy with learning to use Canva to create persuasive texts. The implications of this study show that Canva is effective in writing persuasive text to create digital tourism posters based on local wisdom.
