Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is significant relationship between self confidence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. It is a correlation research where population of all students of fifth grade at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru consisted of 109 students while the sampling method is cluster sampling. The instruments used are self confidence questionnaire and documentation of student mathematics learning outcomes that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used by the writer is product moment correlation test. The result shows that there is a significant relationship between self confidence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru with a large relationship of 0.345 and it is categorized in low relationship category. This means that the increase in variable x will be followed by an increase in variable y. The coefficient of determination in this study is 0.119 which means that self-confidence contributes to student mathematics learning outcomes by 11.9% and the remaining 88.1% is caused by other factors such as teachers, infrastructure, intelligence and student motivation. The results of this study can provide information about one of the factors that affect student learning outcomes in mathematics so that the school, teachers and parents can determine effective steps to improve student mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The background of this study is caused by fifth grade student have low learning out come in SDN 47 Pekanbaru.The standard score in school is 70 from 41 students,only 20 students has reached the standard score with percentage 48,78% and there are 21 students didn't reached standard score yet,with percentage 51,21% and average score is 60,24. the aimof this research is for increase learning outcome mathematics of fifth grade students SDN 47 Pekanbaru by implemertation of treffinger learning model.The result showed that the average score of 60,24 increase in cycle Iasi 27,53% to 76,82. In cycle II the average student also experienced an increase of 42.30% to 85.73. Teacher activity at the first meeting of cycle I the percentage is 65% with Enough category. The second meeting increased to 75% with good category. At the first meeting of the second cycle of teacher activity increased to 90% with good category. At the second meeting it increased to 95% with very good category. Student activity at first meeting of cycle I the percentage is 60% with enough category. The second meeting increased to 75% with good category. At the first meeting of cycle II student activity increased to 85% with good category. At the second meeting it increased to 95% with very good category.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda dunia berdampak besar terhadap dunai pendidikan termasuk di Indonesia. Dampak yang sangat terlihat yaitu diliburkannya siswa-siswa mulai dari jejang pendidikan anak usia dini hingga perguruan tinggi di seluruh wilayah Republik Indonesia, sehingga, guru-guru dituntut untuk merancang pembelajaran jarak jauh atau pembelajaran daring, namun, tidak semua guru memiliki kesiapan dalam menggunakan teknologi digital untuk mendukung terlaksananya pembelajaran dengan baik, terutama bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar. Beranjak dari persoalan tersebut, tim pengabdian PGSD bidang ilmu matematika melaksanakan workshop pembelajaran matematika daring dalam menghadapi pandemi covid-19 bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar di kecamatan Tambang, Kampar. Workshop ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 – 10 Oktober 2020. Workshop dilaksanakan dengan model blended learning yang terdiri dari 3 pertemuan yaitu 2 daring dan 1 luring. Peserta workshop ini berasal dari 5 sekolah yang ada di kecamatan tersebut dengan rincian 33 orang pada kegiatan pertama secara daring, 51 orang pada kegiatan kedua secara luring, dan 25 pada kegiatan ketiga secara daring. Materi utama workshop ini yaitu terkait dengan pengenalan online learning management system, pembuatan google.classroom, dan google.form untuk kuis. Hasil kegiatan PkM ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan matematika, pedagogik, dan teknologi guru mengalamai peningkatan terutama pada kemampuan membuat soal latihan dan ulangan menggunakan google form.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to increase teachers' interest in creating learning media used in the teaching process. The learning media designed by teachers can help motivate students to be enthusiastic about learning, creating an enjoyable classroom atmosphere. The workshop process includes four stages: preparation, implementation, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The media creation workshop showed positive results in teachers' interest in using local wisdom-based learning media, both before and after the workshop. The results before the workshop were as follows: relevance (35%), ease of use (45%), perceived benefits (32.3%), facilities and infrastructure (55%), access to media (40%). After the workshop, the results were: relevance (72.5%), ease of use (75%), perceived benefits (85.5%), facilities and infrastructure (70%), access to media (69.5%). Although there was no significant increase, it has become an initial bridge for teachers to be interested and motivated to use learning media based on local wisdom.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the social competence of elementary school teachers in cluster IV,Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. The type of research used in this research is descriptiveresearch with a quantitative approach (descriptive-quantitative). The population in this studyconsisted of teachers totaling 47 people. The sample in this study was 47 people. The results of thestudy on indicators of being inclusive, acting objectively, and not discriminating because ofconsiderations of gender, religion, race, physical condition, family background andsocioeconomic status were 85.02% with the category "Very Good" , the indicator ofcommunicating effectively, empathically and politely with fellow educators, education staff,parents and the community is 75.64% with the "Good" category. the indicator of communicatingwith the professional community itself and other professions orally and in writing or in otherforms is 82.02% with the “Very Good” category, and the indicator of communicating with theprofessional community itself and other professions orally and in writing or in other forms is82.02% with the category "Very Good". Based on the description of the data analysis, it can beseen that there is a social competence of elementary school teachers in cluster IV SukajadiDistrict, Pekanbaru City with a percentage gain of 79.65% with the category "Good".

Abstract

Instilling the values of character education is very urgent to do for the progress of a nation. The problem in this research is the cartoon series Boruto: Naruto Next Generation in which there are various kinds of character education values that can be used as media in character education cultivation, but these values have not been able to be captured properly by the audience of the cartoon series. The results of this study are 1) to determine the values of character education in the cartoon series Boruto: Naruto Next Generation (Chunin Exam Arc). The results of this study indicate that the cartoon series Boruto: NarutoNext Generation is a cartoon series that can be used as an alternative in character education learning. This is because in this cartoon series there are character education values. There are six kinds of character values, 1) hard work, 2) respect for achievement, 3) responsibility, 4) logical, critical, creative, and innovative thinking, 5) love of reading, and 6) love of peace.

Abstract

Abstract Teaching materials are components that have an important role in carrying out learning process activities. Teaching materials used by teachers will support the mastery of competencies achieved through learning activities. These competencies are not only related to knowledge but also about attitudes and skills. One of the attitudes as a competency possessed by students is caring for the environment. The inculcation of an attitude of caring for the environment through the learning process must be supported by the use of relevant teaching materials, one of which is teaching materials for environmental care based on local wisdom. This service program aims to improve the ability of teachers to make teaching materials based on local wisdom. This activity was carried out using a classical approach to shared perceptions about teaching materials for environmental care based on local wisdom through zoom meetings and a practical approach to making teaching materials accompanied by a Service Team by visiting schools where teachers are the target community. This activity was carried out in August – October 2022. Based on the results of the training carried out, it can be concluded that the service activities carried out ran smoothly and produced environmental care teaching materials based on Silek Nekar Tuah local wisdom. Abstract

Keterkaitan antara matematika dan budaya dikenal dengan etnomatematika dan merupakan suatu topik yang menarik untuk dikaji. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konten matematika dan budaya, khususnya budaya Melayu, dalam buku bergambar matematika (BBM) berjudul “gelang comel buatan kite”. BBM ini merupakan karya 3 mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar di sebuah institusi pendidikan di Pekanbaru, Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis BBM tersebut yaitu konten analisis, khususnya lagi praxeology yang terdiri dari praxis atau komponen praktis dan logos atau komponen teori. Hasil peneliti ini menunjukkan bahwa soal yang disajikan dalam BBM ini yaitu terkait dengan FPB dengan 2 teknik penyelesaian yaitu secara informal dan formal menggunakan pohon faktor. Sementara itu, unsur budaya tertuang dalam bahasa, pakaian, dan aktivitas membuat gelang. Sementara itu keterkaitan antara matematika dan budaya tertuang melalui aktivitas membuat gelang dengan menggunakan konsep FPB.
