Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan Program for International Student Assesment (PISA) pada 2019 bahwasan nya Indonesia menempati ranking ke 62 dari 70 negara yang artinya memiliki tingkat literasi rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan, potensi dan juga tingkat kemandirian masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program wakaf buku adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan cara menerima hibah dan wakaf buku dari semua kalangan khususnya ASN Jawa Barat dan menyalurkan nya kepada Lembaga yang membutuhkan, 2) Melalui program wakaf buku yang diselenggarakan ini memiliki manfaat salah satu nya untuk memperkuat potensi yang dimiliki oleh tiap individu, 3) Tingkat Kemandirian Masyarakat hingga saat ini mayoritas masyarakat yang memanfaatkan buku dari hasil program ini hanya sampai pada taraf untuk menambah koleksi perpustakaan dan meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat.

Abstract

Setiap desa memiliki Badan Usaha Milik Desa masing-masing. BUMDes tentunya mempunyai peran penting, yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial-ekonomi masyarakat maupun Desa. Salah satu BUMDes yang ada di Indonesia adalah BUMDes Wibawa yang berada di Desa Tangkil Kecamatan Cidahu Sukabumi. Tujuan dari peneltian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui latar belakang berdirinya BUMDes Wibawa Desa Tangkil, dan untuk mengetahui peran BUMDes Wibawa dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa latar belakang BUMDes Wibawa hadir di Desa Tangkil dikarenakan mengikuti anjuran dari pemerintah pusat bahwa setiap desa mendirikan BUMDes untuk meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi desa dan masyarakat. Peran BUMDes Wibawa dalam mensejahterakan masyarakat, BUMDes Wibawa melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat, seperti pemberdayaan pemuda, pemberdayaan petani, pemberdayaan usaha mikro masyarakat, serta BUMDes Wibawa memiliki unit-unit usaha untuk meningkatkan pendapatan desa dan masyarakat seperti unit usaha penyewaan alat acara hajatan dan penyewaan alat pembangunan.

Abstract

The challenge of religious extremism in multicultural societies demands educational institutions that can cultivate moderate Islamic values and inclusive attitudes. This research investigates how Indonesian pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) transform into inclusive spaces that strengthen religious moderation (wasathiyyah) and moderate da’wah (Islamic propagation) practices. Employing an interpretive paradigm with qualitative methods, this study examines two pesantren models: Pesantren Persatuan Islam Manbaul Huda in Bandung City and Pesantren Welas Asih in Garut Regency through observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren leaders, and document analysis. The findings reveal that pesantren inclusivity is driven by structural factors, particularly government policies promoting wasathiyyah Islam, and cultural factors embedded in institutional management. The cultivation of religious moderation occurs through five interconnected roles of ustaz (Islamic teachers): as conservators, preserving authentic Islamic teachings; as innovators, creating integrated spiritual-nationalism programs; as transmitters, disseminating moderate values; as transformators, modeling exemplary behavior through interfaith learning initiatives; and as organizers, implementing systematic character-strengthening activities. These pesantren successfully produce Muslim cadres with open-minded, wise, moderate perspectives who embody Islam as rahmatan lil alamin (mercy to all worlds), demonstrating that religious education institutions can serve as effective epicenters for cultivating tolerance, justice, and balanced attitudes in addressing Indonesia’s spiritual and cultural plurality.

Abstract

Digital Islamic apologetics has become a new phenomenon in the relationship between religion and socio-cultural development. Digital space, especially YouTube, has become not only an arena for the dissemination of religious teachings, but also a platform for the formation of new religious authorities that influence solidarity and polarization in society. This study uses qualitative methods to analyze the structure of religious messages presented in two Bang Zuma videos uploaded on YouTube based on Robert Entman's (1993) framing analysis. Insights from Craig's (2008) apologetic epistemology consisting of five models: classical, evidential, Reformed epistemology, Presuppositional and Cumulative Case, as well as Berger & Luckmann's social constructionism model will be used to understand the emergence and development of digital faith reality. The findings show that Bang Zuma's apologetics integrates Craig's four main models: evidential (analysis of biblical texts and history), presuppositional (the Qur'an as the standard of absolute truth), classical (philosophical arguments against the Trinity), and reformed epistemology (tawhid as human nature), which emphasizes the rational and moral defense of Islam. This message study affirms Islam as a rational and ethical religion, but also fosters an oppositional logic of "us versus them," reinforcing exclusive identities. Digital Islamic apologetics has a dual function: strengthening spiritual literacy and community solidarity (bonding social capital), but also potentially causing sociocultural polarization and narrowing the space for interfaith dialogue (bridging social capital). This research emphasizes the importance of a cumulative and moderate approach that integrates rationality, morality, and social empathy to make digital Islamic apologetics a moral and intellectual force in the development of an inclusive society.
