The aim of this research is to: Examine how fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2, Kualuh Hulu District, learned mathematics using scientific techniques aided by audiovisual technology. People living in Kualuh Hulu Regency's SD Negeri Region 2. The number of schools is 63 schools. The research sample was 60 students of SD Negeri No. 112279 Aek. A sample of 30 students were taught using a scientific learning approach (Experiment/A1) with video assistance, and 30 students were taught using a contextual learning approach (Control/A2) without video assistance. The research instruments are tests and questionnaires to differentiate student motivation. This research uses a 2 x factorial design. The research findings passed the homogeneity and normality tests which are prerequisites for analysis. Hypotheses can be tested using Two Way Analysis of Variance, often known as Two Way Anova. The study concludes that a scientific strategy using video media influences students' learning results in mathematics at SD Negeri Region 2 Kualuh Hulu Regency.

Education is a learning process that is important for human life in producing quality humans. In studying science, religious science is needed to maintain balance in order to give birth to good habits in the activities of each individual. Science and religion are two things that reinforce each other. Science is present is expected to provide evidence so that it will improve the quality of one's beliefs. Similarly, the presence of religion in science can make science more useful and increase its benefit. This study aims to see the relationship between religiosity and students' critical thinking skills in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Binjai. The method used is an analytical method using the Pearson correlation test. The subjects in this study were grade XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Binjai which amounted to 107 students. The instrument used was a religiosity questionnaire with 15 statements and Using critical thinking skills questions on stoichiometry material totaling 18 questions. The results of the study found that the average level of students' critical thinking skills on stoichiometric material was 29.71 and the average level of student religiosity was 42.94. The correlation coefficient between religiosity and critical thinking skills obtained is 0.809 which means that there is a strong relationship between religiosity and critical thinking skills of students in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Binjai.

The aim of this research is to analyze students' needs for computational chemistry-based learning media on atomic structure and chemical bonding in the Basic Chemistry course. The population of this study were the first grade students of the Chemistry Department, FMIPA Unimed. The number of samples in this study was 93 students from three classes. The instruments used are multiple choice questions and questionnaires to determine mastery of atomic structure and chemical bonding. The research results show that the average score is 34.430 (poor category). The average score achieved in atomic structure material was 33.16 (very poor). The lowest score achieved in the atomic properties sub-material was 9.3. The average score achieved in chemical bonding material was 36.1 (very poor). The lowest score achieved in the properties of ionic compound sub-material was 17.5. The results of the questionnaire showed that the atomic structure material that students considered the most difficult was the wave mechanics atomic model at 72.233 (quite difficult), while for chemical bonding material it was the octet and duplet rule at 71.055 (quite difficult).

This research aim to find out relationship between religiosity and students`' chemistry learning achievement, is correlational research that aims to understand the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. This research is quantitative descriptive research, so in collecting data the researcher used a questionnaire method, describing and explaining which dimensions of religiosity are more related to the chemistry learning achievement of class XI MIPA students. In this research, there are two variables, namely one independent variable in the form of students'' level of religiosity, and one dependent variable in the form of students'' chemistry learning achievement. For further research, correlational research on these two variables must be expanded by adding additional criteria. For example, criteria can be added to the dimension of religiosity. In addition, tools must be created to assess students'' chemistry learning achievements.

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes and spiritual attitudes of students. This research aims to determine the effect of chemical equilibrium teaching materials based on spiritual values on student learning outcomes and students' spiritual attitudes in the guided inquiry learning model, as well as seeing the relationship between students' spiritual attitudes and student learning outcomes. This type of research uses research methods using a sample of 60 students. The data collection methods used were (1) interview observation, (2) student spiritual questionnaire, (3) test instruments. The results of the research show that chemical equilibrium teaching materials based on spiritual values in the guided inquiry learning model have an influence on students' learning outcomes and spiritual attitudes. The research results stated that there was a difference between classes that used high school textbooks on the subject of chemical equilibrium and classes that used chemical equilibrium teaching materials based on spiritual values, namely sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.007 < 0.05. Furthermore, there is also the influence of chemical equilibrium teaching materials based on spiritual values on students' spiritual attitudes by looking at the difference between before and after being given treatment, where the sig value (2-tailed) > 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05 means that the chemical equilibrium teaching materials are based on Spiritual values that have been validated by expert validators can develop students' spiritual attitudes. Apart from that, there is also a relationship between students' spiritual attitudes and the learning outcomes of students who are taught using chemical equilibrium teaching materials based on spiritual values in the guided inquiry learning model where the sig value (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.024 < 0.05.

This study aims to determine the differences in learning activities, learning outcomes and student spirituality between learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Discovery Leaning (DL) model on reaction rate material Integrated with Spiritual Values. The population in this study were all XI MIA classes consisting of two classes. All populations were taken as samples (total sample). Class XI MIA 1 is used as an experimental class 1 using PBL learning while class XI MIA 2 as an experimental class 2 with the DL model. The instruments used in this study are two, namely test and non-test instruments. Test instruments to measure learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice as many as 20 questions that are valid and reliable. Non-test instruments in the form of student learning activity observation sheets and questionnaires used to measure student spirituality. The results showed, for experimental class 1: activity 85.55 learning outcomes 72.22 and spiritual attitudes 85.58. While the experimental class 2: activity 75.50 learning outcomes 72.22 and spiritual attitude 81.27. From statistical testing obtained sig (0.0001) < α (0.05) for activity, while for learning outcomes sig (0.002) < α (0.05) H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, while for spiritual attitudes obtained sig value (0.079) > α (0.05) H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in activity and learning outcomes and no difference for the spiritual attitude of students using PBL and DL on reaction rate material Integrated spiritual values.

Objectives:This study aims to develop HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) based items on chemical equilibrium material using the Rasch model. Methods: The type of research used is research and development through the ADDIE model. Respondents in the study were 25 students of class XII at the Superior High School in North Sumatra, distinguished by gender and grade X. Findings: The test items developed consisted of 10 questions that had gone through the validation stage by experts and then tested and analyzed using the Winsteps software. Conclusion: Content validation obtained 100% fit indexed items; the reliability of the person category is sufficient and the item is in the good category with Cronbach α=0.72 (good); the value of separation person (1.27) is in the weak category and item (2.49) is in the good category; Item difficulty levels are sorted from very easy: medium: difficult: very difficult. Respondents with codes 02LO and 24LO (logit +4.36) are respondents with the highest ability, codes 18PR and 19PR (logit -1.97) are respondents with the lowest ability. Guttman Matrix Scalogram, two respondents have the potential to guess the answer and four respondents have the potential to commit fraud. Keywords: HOTS Items, Chemical Equilibrium, Rasch Model.DOI : 10.23960/jppk.v13.i1.2024.01
