Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning outcomes and students' spiritual attitudes through the implementation of spiritual value-based chemistry teaching materials with the POGIL model on Hydrocarbon material in class XI Matlanfor SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This type of research is correlational research. The data collected were in the form of learning outcome test instruments and non-test spiritual attitude questionnaires. The results of the study were that there was a significant positive relationship between students' spiritual attitudes and increased learning outcomes after using integrated chemistry teaching materials with spiritual values in class XI Matlanfor with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.003 ≤ α (0.05) obtained a person correlation value of 0.243 indicating that students' spiritual attitudes contributed 24.3% to the learning outcomes of class XI Matlanfor students of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Spiritual Atttudes, POGIL, Spiritual ValueDOI: 10.23960/jppk.v13.i3.32145

Abstract

 The research carried out was research and development to obtain instruments for HOTS-based reaction rates. The development of this item instrument is carried out first by following the steps for preparing HOTS questions which of course also pay attention to the characteristics of the HOTS questions. The next step is to analyze the item items based on the response pattern of the answers given by the students using the Rasch model assisted by the WINSTEPS 3.73 application. In this study the results of student answers were analyzed based on eight (8) types of output tables. Based on the analysis using the Rasch model, the following results are obtained: 1) Results of the Output tables item fit order obtained Outfit values: MNSQ (0.70 – 1.61); ZSTD (-1.3 – 2.0) and Pt Measure Corr (0.29 – 0.64). 2) Summary statistics: Person Reliability (0.74 & 0.76) enough category; Item Reliability (0.71 & 0.73) is sufficient category, and Cronbach Alpha Reliability (0.81) is very good category. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the influence of the guided inquiry learning model on students' mathematical critical and creative thinking abilities. This research problem focuses on the effect of applying the guided inquiry model on the mathematical critical and creative thinking abilities of fourth grade elementary school students compared to applying the direct learning model. The research was conducted on fourth grade students at SD Negeri 010015 Sei Serindan, Kecamatan Sei Kepayang Barat, with a research sample of 2 classes determined using the cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument tests students' critical thinking and creative mathematical thinking skills in the form of essays. The research data were analyzed using the one-way MANOVA technique. The results of the research show that: (1) there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities; (2) there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities; and (3) there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model simultaneously on students' critical thinking and creative mathematical thinking abilities. Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Mathematics. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematis siswa. Masalah penelitin ini difokuskan pada pengaruh penerapan media berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 010015 Sei Serindan, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Intrumen penelitian tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam bentuk uraian (essai). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik MANOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa; (2) terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing secara simultan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Media, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Berpikir Kritis, Berpikir Kreatif, Matematika

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the demands of 21st century education where students must have qualified skills to enter the world of work after completing their studies. This can be done through the learning process using the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum, which in the process can be done by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. In supporting the learning process to be optimal, it is necessary to develop teaching materials that are in accordance with the demands of 21st century education. This study aims to see the effectiveness of IBM SPSS Statistics teaching materials based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum on the topic of Differential Test. The study population was five classes, namely all chemistry education students at Medan State University in 2022 who were taking Statistics courses as many as 5 classes. The sample used in the study was 1 class selected by random sampling technique, which consisted of 25 students. The instrument used to measure the effectiveness of teaching materials developed is a test instrument in the form of 4 essay questions that have been valid and reliable. Testing effectiveness by comparing student learning outcomes in the state before and after using teaching materials. The effectiveness of teaching materials in this study was measured using the N-gain score. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the effectiveness of IBM SPSS Statistic-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) teaching materials based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum on different test material was declared quite effective with an N-Gain value of 68%.Keyword: Outcome Based Education, Project Based Learning (PjBL), T-test, IBM SPSS, StatisticsAbstrak: Penelitian ini latarbelakangi tuntutan pendidikan abad 21 dimana mahasiswa harus mempunyai kecakapan yang mumpuni untuk terjun dalam dunia kerja setelah menyelesaikan kuliahnya. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan kurikulum Outcome Based Education (OBE), dimana dalam prosesnya dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran agar maksimal maka perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan tuntutan pendidikan abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keefektifan bahan ajar ajar IBM SPSS Statistics Berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) berdasarkan kurikulum Outcome-Based Education (OBE) pada materi Uji Beda. Populasi penelitian sebanyak lima kelas yakni seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan kimia Universitas Negeri Medan stambuk 2022 yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Statistik sebanyak 5 kelas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 1 kelas yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling, dimana terdiri dari 25 orang mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan adalah instrumen tes berupa 4 soal essay yang telah valid dan reliabel. Pengujian efektivitas dengan membandingkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada keadaan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan bahan ajar. Efektivitas bahan ajar dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan N-gain score. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa efektivitas bahan ajar IBM SPSS Statistic Berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) berdasarkan kurikulum Outcome-Based Education (OBE) pada materi uji beda dinyatakan cukup efektif dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 68%.Kata Kunci: Outcome Based Education (OBE), Project Based Learning (PjBL), Uji Beda, IBM SPSS, Statistik

Abstract

Science plays an important role in education and is a subject that contributes to the development of science in the world, one of which is chemistry. With the characteristics as attitudes, chemistry can be integrated into the character values of Islamic education. The process of values has the aim of monitoring the selfimplantation that science comes from the Quran. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of the value of wisdom with religiosity and to find out the differences between male and female religiosity. The study was conducted on students taking value education courses in 2021. This study used instruments in the form of a perception questionnaire about the value of wisdom on the topic of chemistry and a religiosity questionnaire. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between perceptions of the value of wisdom on the topic of chemistry and religion, which was marked by a significance value of 0.039 < 0.05.  There is a difference between the religiosity of male students and female students with a significance value of 0.040 < 0.05 indicating Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Krisis lingkungan global akibat pencemaran, perubahan iklim, dan penggunaan bahan kimia berbahaya menuntut perubahan paradigma dalam pendidikan kimia. Revitalisasi pembelajaran kimia menjadi langkah strategis untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan melalui penerapan prinsip Green Chemistry. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pembaruan kurikulum, metode pengajaran, kegiatan praktikum, media, dan sistem penilaian agar pembelajaran kimia lebih kontekstual, partisipatif, dan berwawasan ekologis. Pendekatan Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, dan Inquiry-Based Learning diusulkan untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan tanggung jawab lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Narrative Literature Review (NLR) dengan mencari artikel jurnal melalui basis data Google Scholar selama 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kimia hijau sebagai inovasi di bidang pendidikan memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap peningkatan pengalaman belajar, penguasaan konsep, motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa serta peningkatan kesadaran terhadap lingkungan. Misalnya, penggunaan bahan alami terbarukan sebagai pengganti bahan kimia sintetis di laboratorium.  Praktikum ramah lingkungan seperti microscale experiment, penggunaan indikator alami, dan daur ulang limbah laboratorium juga menjadi bagian penting dari transformasi ini. Dengan integrasi prinsip Green Chemistry dalam pendidikan, pembelajaran kimia diharapkan tidak hanya menghasilkan siswa yang memahami konsep ilmiah, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran ekologis dan kemampuan menerapkan kimia secara berkelanjutan. Revitalisasi ini sejalan dengan tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) untuk mencetak generasi yang cerdas, kreatif, dan beretika lingkungan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of chemistry teaching materials that integrate spiritual values on learning outcomes, learning interests, and students' spiritual attitudes, as well as the influence of initial abilities and the interaction of the two on learning outcomes. This study uses a pseudo-experiment method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was determined through purposive sampling techniques, namely class XI P1 as an experimental class, and class XI P3 as a control class at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bingai. The research instrument consisted of learning outcome tests, learning interest questionnaires, and spiritual attitude questionnaires that have been validated and declared reliable. Data analysis was carried out using the two-way ANOVA test, independent sample t-test, and paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the study show that chemistry teaching materials that are integrated with spiritual values have a significant effect on learning outcomes, learning interests, and spiritual attitudes of students. In addition, initial ability also has a significant effect on learning outcomes, but there is no interaction between teaching materials and initial ability on student learning outcomes. These findings confirm that integrating spiritual values in chemistry teaching materials can not only improve learning outcomes, but also strengthen students' spiritual character.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in chemistry subjects are due to the limitations of teaching materials that are interesting, interactive, and applicable to technological developments. Learning is still dominated by the use of package books, while teachers have not fully utilized digital-based media in the learning process. This condition has an impact on students' low interest and understanding of concepts, especially in abstract chemical bonding materials. This research aims to develop and determine the feasibility level of Augmented Reality-based interactive e-modules as innovative teaching materials in chemistry learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this research consist of one lecturer who is a material expert and one lecturer who is a media expert, while the object of the research is an interactive e-module based on Augmented Reality on chemical bonding materials. The research instruments used were non-test instruments, namely needs analysis questionnaires, interview sheets, and feasibility questionnaires for material experts and media experts. The results of the analysis showed that the feasibility level of Augmented Reality-based interactive e-modules reached 96.6% from material experts and 92.9% from media experts, with an average feasibility of 94.75% which was included in the very feasible category. Thus, the e-modules developed can be used as an alternative to more modern teaching materials, because they are able to visualize abstract concepts of chemical bonds through 3D elements based on Augmented Reality, so that it has the potential to improve the quality of learning and student understanding.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dewasa ini telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia, termasuk pendidikan. Dalam konteks global yang menghadapi krisis lingkungan dan perubahan iklim, pendidikan sains memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kesadaran ekologis dan perilaku berkelanjutan peserta didik. Salah satu pendekatan yang relevan untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut adalah konsep green chemistry atau kimia hijau, yang menekankan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan, efisiensi sumber daya, dan pengurangan dampak lingkungan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pentingnya revitalisasi pembelajaran sains di sekolah menengah dalam meningkatkan kontribusi menuju penerapan green chemistry. Pendekatan konseptual digunakan untuk menelaah integrasi nilai-nilai kimia hijau ke dalam kurikulum, strategi pembelajaran, dan pengembangan kompetensi siswa abad ke-21. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sains yang direvitalisasi melalui pendekatan kontekstual, berbasis proyek, dan integratif dengan isu lingkungan mampu menumbuhkan literasi sains ekologis, keterampilan berpikir kritis, serta kepedulian terhadap keberlanjutan. Artikel ini juga mengusulkan model konseptual revitalisasi pembelajaran sains berbasis green chemistry yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah menengah sebagai kontribusi nyata pendidikan terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) whether there is an effect in the form of differences between student learning outcomes using reaction rate chemistry teaching materials integrated with religious values using chemistry teaching materials SMA / MA with guided inquiry models, (2) whether there are differences in students' spiritual attitudes before and after being taught with teaching materials integrated with religious values, (3) is there a relationship between improving student learning outcomes on reaction rate material with students' spiritual attitudes. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument was a multiple choice test of 20 valid and reliable items (0.862) and a spiritual attitude questionnaire. The data analysis used is the Mann-Whitney Test non-parametric test with a significance level of 0.05l, Paired Sample T-Test test, and correlation. The results of research and testing show the ability of student learning outcomes taught using teaching materials for reaction rates integrated with religious values using guided inquiry learning models is higher than using high school / MA Chemistry teaching materials with guided inquiry models, namely (0.037 <0.05), teaching materials for reaction rates integrated with religious values provide positive value to students, and there is a significant relationship between learning outcomes and students' spiritual attitudes of 0.461 in the moderate category.
