Abstract

This study aims to analyze nurses' behavior in implementing the PPI program at Anugerah Sehat Afiat Regional General Hospital, Depok City. The method used was descriptive qualitative, using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with purposive sampling techniques. Ten informants, consisting of five ward nurses and five members of the PPI Committee, participated. The results showed that nurses' behavior in PPI was influenced by: irregular program evaluation, supporting factors such as training and the role of superiors, constraints such as workload, limited time and PPE, varying experiences between units, interventions such as posters and feedback, perceptions of infection risk, and differing work cultures. Conclusions indicate the need for strategies to strengthen supervision, ongoing training, and cross-unit coordination to improve compliance with the PPI program. Abstract

Abstract

This study provides a normative legal analysis of the protection of minority shareholders in limited liability companies (Perseroan Terbatas/PT) in Indonesia. Minority shareholders often face unequal treatment due to the dominance of majority shareholders in decision-making, leading to potential abuse and neglect of their rights. Using a doctrinal approach, the research examines the legal framework under Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies and related regulations, focusing on mechanisms such as derivative suits, company dissolution rights, accountability of directors and commissioners, and access to information. The analysis reveals that while Indonesia’s legal system formally recognizes these protections, their practical enforcement is hindered by high ownership thresholds, judicial inconsistency, lengthy litigation processes, and limited shareholder awareness. Comparative perspectives from jurisdictions such as the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Malaysia highlight Indonesia’s need to strengthen its enforcement mechanisms and corporate governance practices. The study concludes that lowering procedural barriers, enhancing judicial consistency, promoting alternative dispute resolution, and improving legal literacy are crucial to ensuring effective protection of minority shareholders. Strengthening these protections not only guarantees fairness for shareholders but also contributes to investor confidence and sustainable corporate development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Chemotherapy is considered the most effective treatment for children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) because it targets cancer cells that may have metastasized to other tissues. However, children undergoing chemotherapy experience both physical and psychological side effects, which also affect their parents. These impacts include changes in parental roles and responsibilities, limited knowledge about the disease, and the need for information to support independent care at home. This study aimed to develop audio-visual educational media on chemotherapy for parents of children with ALL based on their informational needs. A descriptive qualitative design with a Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven parents, followed by the stages of initial planning, product development, and expert validation. Five major themes emerged: perceptions of chemotherapy, indications, side effects, management strategies, and educational media preferences. Expert validation by material and media specialists resulted in a feasibility score of 94.3%, categorized as highly appropriate. The study concludes that audio-visual educational media is feasible and effective as a health education tool to support parents in caring for their children during chemotherapy.
