Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian diadakan karena minimnya kecakapan siswa kelas V SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya dalam berpikir secara kritis materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Penelitian termasuk pada jenis Quasi Experimental yang terancang Non Equivalen Control Group Design, dimana populasi diambil dari kelas V sejumlah 106 siswa, dengan sampel yaitu VA sejumlah 36 siswa dan VB sejumlah 33 siswa serta menggunakan purposive sampling untuk pemilihan sampelnya. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan datanya dengan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda 5 soal dan uraian 15 soal. Sedangkan data dianalisa dengan uji prasyarat melalui normalitas dan homogenitas serta uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan perhitungan T-Test mendapatkan nilai Sig. < 0,05 dan bermakna ada perbedaan, sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan ada keberhasilan model problem based learning dalam membangun kemampuan dalam berpikir secara kritis materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Abstract The research was conducted due to the lack of ability of class V at SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya in thinking critically about the human respiratory system. The research was included in the Quasi Experimental type which was designed as a Non Equivalent Control Group Design, where the population was taken from class V with a total of 106 students, with a sample of 36 students VA and 33 students of VB and used purposive sampling for the selection of the sample. This study collected data using a multiple choice test with 5 questions and 15 questions with a description. While the data was analyzed by prerequisite test through normality and homogeneity as well as hypothesis testing. Based on the calculation of the T-Test to get a Sig. < 0.05 and means there is a difference, so it can be concluded that there is a success of the problem based learning model in building the ability to think critically about the material of the human respiratory system.

Abstract

Abstrak Kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V pada materi organ gerak manusia menjadi inspirasi penelitian ini. Ketiadaan media pembelajaran interaktif menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap materi organ gerak manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media interaktif berbasis macromedia flash terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain nonequvalent control group design (pretest-postest). Kelas V SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya menjadi objek penelitian ini. Program IBM SPSS Statistics 26 digunakan untuk melakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji T sebagai bagian dari proses analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil Independent Sample t Test pada hasil posttest diperoleh sig (2-tailed) yaitu < α = 0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan media interaktif berbasis macromedia flash terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa sekolah dasar. Abstract The lack of conceptual comprehension among students in grade 5 regarding substance moving organs is the driving force behind this study. Lack of use of technology-based learning resources contributes to students' poor comprehension of the ideas relating to human moving systems. This study sought to ascertain the impact of learning materials based on Macromedia Flash on primary school students' comprehension of scientific ideas. The quasi-experimental study in this study uses a non-equivalent control group design and a quantitative research technique. (pretest-posttest). Participants in the research were Class V pupils from SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya. The IBM SPSS Statistics 26 program is used to carry out normality tests, homogenity tests, and T tests as part of the data analysis process. Based on the results of the independent sample t test on the posttest results shows that the sig (2-tailed) are <α = 0,05, which means that there is a significant effect of macromedia flash-based learning media on elementary school students’ understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada materi penggolongan hewan berdasarkan jenis makanannya. Untuk menemukan suatu konsep dalam pembelajaran, seorang pendidik memerlukan sebuah media dalam melakukan pembelajaran salah satunya adalah media Powtoon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media powtoon terhadap penguasaan konsep materi penggolongan hewan berdasarkan jenis makanannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain nonequvalent control group design (postest). Program IBM SPSS Statistics 25 digunakan untuk melakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji T sebagai bagian dari proses analisis data. Hasil penelitian berupa uji Dependent Sample t Test, didapatkan nilai Sig. < 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh dalam penggunaan media powtoon terhadap penguasaan konsep pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh Identifikasi karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik kelas II dan kelas V di SDN Sedatigede 2 Sidoarjo yang masih kurang dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif karena data disajikan dalam bentuk kata-kata. Metode penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang identifikasi karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik kelas II dan kelas V di SDN SEDATIGEDE 2 melalui aktivitas siswa yang dilakukan pada saat proses pembelajaran. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa karakter tanggung jawab pada saat proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas siswa yang menunjukkan karakter tanggung jawab pada proses pembelajaran sudah sangat baik terbukti dengan adanya hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik.

Abstract

The concept of digestive organs is difficult for elementary school (SD) students to understand, so in the learning process a learning model is used. The problem-based learning model is used to build understanding of students' concepts, because this model uses contextual problems that can help students identify elements of concepts. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of students' understanding of concepts through problem-based learning models. This type of research is quantitative research with a nonequivalent control group design. The subject of research for grade V elementary school students at SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya. The instrument used is a test of understanding the concept of digestive organs. The results of the analysis can be seen the results of the t test using Mann Whitney the results are significant, the calculation of the test is different from the test score data p-value value < α = 0.05 which means that learning using a problem-based learning model can build understanding of concepts

Abstract

This research is hampered by a lack of creative thinking skills in V-grade students, although these skills are essential in preparing for educational success in today's growing era of globalization. This research aims to find out the influence of TPACK's approach in cultivating the creative thinking skills of students of V SD class on the material properties of light. The research uses quantitative research design, experimental Quasi design through non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of this study is the entire student SDN Buncitan Sedati Sidoarjo, the sample of the research used included students of the VA class (control class) which totalled 30 students and VB (experimental class) that totals 30 students. Data collection techniques use test techniques consisting of 10 creative thinking skills essays. The result of this study is a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0,000 < 0.05 which means H0 rejected and H1 accepted, which means there is an influence of the TPACK approach in cultivating the creative thinking skills of students of grade V SD on the material of light properties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V SD Negeri Wates 2 pada materi siklus air. Model pembelajaran problem based learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang dirancang agar siswa menemukan sendiri pemecahan masalah melalui tindakan nyata. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang membandingkan siswa pada dua kelas yang diberi perlakuan yang berbeda. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui instrument tes pemahaman konsep berbentuk pilihan ganda dan instrument tes berbentuk esai. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji-t.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is is based on the issue of students' low critical thinking skills, especially in science education. The aim of this study is to determine whether the PjBL learning model based on education for sustainable development can affect students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group type, with a research population of 56 students. The sample consisted of 23 class IV A students (experimental group) and 23 class IV B students (control group). This research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used is a test. Based on data analysis, the PjBL model based on education for sustainable development has a significant influence on the critical thinking abilities of fourth grade elementary school students. This is based on the results of the independent t test showing a sig value of 0.000 indicating a sig value <0.05 which can be concluded that  is rejected and  is accepted. Thus, the PjBL model based on education for sustainable development has an effect on students' critical thinking abilities. Keyword: PjBL; education for sustainable development; critical thinking Abstrak: Penelitian ini didasari oleh permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, terutama dalam pembelajaran IPA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran PjBL yang berbasis education for sustainable development dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain quasi eksperimental dengan jenis non equivalent control group, dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 56 siswa. Sampelnya terdiri atas 23 siswa kelas IV A (kelompok eksperimen) dan 23 siswa kelas IV B (kelompok kontrol). Teknik purposive sampling digunakan pada pengambilan sampel. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Berdasarkan penganalisisan data, model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis education for sustainable development memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada hasil uji t independent menunjukkan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 menujukkan nilai sig < 0,05 yang dapat disimpulkan  ditolak dan  diterima. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis education for sustainable development berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.  Kata Kunci: PjBL; education for sustainable developmet; berpikir kritis

Abstract

This study explores the role of real-world contexts in developing students’ mathematical understanding through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach at Gunung Sekar Elementary School, Sampang. The background of this research lies in the low mathematical comprehension of elementary students, largely due to abstract, teacher-centered instruction. Using a qualitative exploratory case study, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and documentation involving 25 sixth-grade students, with six selected for in-depth analysis. The findings revealed that implementing RME by introducing contextual problems such as daily life situations involving division, measurement, and fractions significantly enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, engagement, and confidence in mathematics learning. Students demonstrated improvements in explaining concepts, using multiple representations, and applying mathematical ideas to new contexts. Moreover, the learning process promoted active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking. Teachers transitioned from information providers to facilitators who guided exploration and reflection. The study concludes that the integration of real contexts within RME makes abstract concepts more meaningful and accessible to students, thereby improving both cognitive and affective learning outcomes. These results emphasize the potential of RME as an effective pedagogical strategy to strengthen mathematical literacy and cultivate positive attitudes toward mathematics in Indonesian elementary education.

Abstract

Assessment is a crucial component of deep learning because it serves not only to assess learning outcomes but also to support students' thinking processes, conceptual understanding, and reflection. However, elementary school teachers still face various obstacles in developing assessments that align with deep learning principles. This community service activity aims to assist elementary school teachers in developing deep learning assessments at SDN Ketidur Mojokerto. The community service method uses a participatory approach through questionnaire-based needs analysis, assistance in developing assessment instruments, limited implementation, and reflection and evaluation. The questionnaire results indicate that most teachers have a good understanding of the concept of deep learning assessments, but still experience difficulties in developing instruments to assess learning processes and outcomes. Through the mentoring activity, teachers are able to develop authentic, task-based assessments and rubrics that assess students' deep understanding and thinking processes. This activity contributes to improving teachers' competency in designing applicable and contextual deep learning assessments in elementary schools.
