Abstract

Mining is one of the activities of management and utilization of natural resources as an effort to fulfill human needs and is the largest contributor to foreign exchange, mining business activities in forest areas used to support development have caused environmental damage and must be reclaimed immediately. This study aims to describe the status of tree growth in post-mining land and evaluate the causes of health problems in tree growth in post-mining land. The method used in this study uses two blocks of objects carried out at one location, namely in block 7. The parameters measured in identifying the status of this growth are plant diameter, plant height, percent plant growth, percent health of plants and soil samples. The types of plants observed in this study were sengon (Paraserianthes Falcateria), lamtoro (Leucaena Leucocephala). The results showed that based on two observation blocks, namely block a with lamtoro and block b with sengon plants, the percent growth and the best percent health were in block a where percent grew by 83% and percent health of the plant by 100%. On the other hand, in blocks of b percent, plant growth is only 37% and percent of plant health is 00.0%. Based on the lab results on soil sampling from each block, block B has a very low nutrient content compared to block a. The results of soil analysis on the observed blocks showed that there was a low nutrient value in nitrogen (N), potassium (K), and phosphorus (P).Keywords: post-mining land, nutrient deficiency, plant growth.

Hence vegetation date were analysed to determine the density, frequency, dominant, and Importance Value Index. The results showed that there were 40 plant species comprising 25 families in this area. Four plants species were used by Macaca tonkeana as food sources. The highest important value index (IVI) was achieved by Ficus sp (45,43%), while the lowest Important value index was achieved by Melochia umbellate and Rapanea spec (6,75%). Nunu (Ficus sp) is an important source of food, especially the fruit, parts of the plant are eaten fruit and leaves. Abstract

Social forestry programs, including village forest schemes, were anticipated to increase the local community income, but the implementations often differed from the plans. Therefore, this research aimed to determine the attitude and behavior of LPHD members toward village forest management in Central Sulawesi by analyzing their beliefs and evaluation values. The results showed that the forest attribute had the highest value, which indicated that the village forest offered numerous opportunities to enhance the community's welfare. In addition, the attitude value was consistent with the behavior analysis, resulting in a positive value of 0.74. This value indicated that LPHD members agreed with the village forest management in Central Sulawesi and actively participated in the implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the caries risk profile using the caries risk assessment (CRA) method in children aged 6-8 years in Gowa district with a lower middle economic background. A total of 67 children participated in this study, with a distribution bet-ween male gender 24 people and female gender 43 people. CRA showed that 13.43% of children were in the low risk category, 29.85% moderate risk, and 56.72% high risk. The main risk factors that contribute to increased caries risk include frequency of consumption of sweet foods, lack of fluoride use, poor oral hygiene, and low socioeconomic status. Caries prevalence showed a positive relationship with risk category, where in the high-risk group, 70% of children had at least one tooth with active caries. These results emphasize the importance of risk-based interventions through dental health education programs, increasing access to fluoride, and other caries prevention strategies, especially in groups of children with low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of learning models (STAD, NHT and Conventional) and BTQ ability on Fiqh learning outcomes. This research method uses an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study was 60 students of grade 4 of SDIT Plus Al-Muhsinin. The instruments used consisted of; 1) Tests given to students totaling 20 multiple-choice questions; 2) Al-Qur'an reading ability test through oral tests, namely reading and writing the Al-Qur'an. The data analysis technique used in this study used two-way ANOVA analysis. The results of this study indicate that; 1) there is no difference in Students' Fiqh Learning Outcomes based on learning models (STAD, NHT, and Conventional), 2) there is a difference in Students' Fiqh Learning Outcomes based on BTQ ability, 3) there is no interaction between learning models and BTQ ability in determining students' Fiqh learning outcomes. Thus, learning outcomes are not influenced by the implementation of learning models but are influenced by the ability to read and write the Al-Qur'an.
