Abstract

This research aims to describe and determine students' abilities in solving mathematical problems with a focus on learning styles. The research subjects were Class IV students at SD Negeri Tawangmas. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to determine and describe mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of students' learning styles. Data was collected using questionnaires, tests and interviews. The use of questionnaires describes visual learning styles, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Two test numbers determine the mathematical problem solving ability in the Polya step, and the interview confirms the mathematical problem solving ability. The data analysis techniques are reduction, presentation and verification. Based on the results, this study had 7 respondents with a bias towards visual style 3, auditory style 2 and kinestatic style with literacy skills from the results of the report cards, the average report card score was 76.28 and the standard deviation was 17.03. With problem-solving abilities for each style, namely 1) students with a visual style have the ability to understand problems, organize and carry out them and re-check the results of their work. 2) students with an auditory style have the ability to understand problems, organize and carry out them and review the results of their work. 3) students with an auditory style have the ability to understand problems, organize them, and are unable to carry them out until they are unable to recheck the results of their work.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perubahan teknologi, sosial, dan lingkungan sedang terjadi secara global membuat seorang pendidik atau guru perlu meningkatkan keterampilan dan kualitas agar dapat menyesuaikan diri serta memberikan edukasi efisien terhadap peserta didik. Tujuan: Melihat kurangnya beberapa kategori pendidikan di Indonesia membuat peran guru sangat penting untuk ditingkatkan. Permasalahan mitra adalah guru SMP Negeri 1 Karangawen Kabupaten Demak masih membutuhkan penyegaran dalam hal pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis Metaverse. Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana yang sangat mendukung dalam penyampaian informasi kepada peserta didik guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan lebih baik. Metode: Metode yang diterapkan dalam program pengabdian ini, yaitu metode presentasi, metode demonstrasi, dan metode praktik. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan dari pengabdian ini adalah peserta pelatihan berhasil memahami konsep dasar metaverse dan mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam desain pembelajaran interaktif. Kesimpulan: Guru-guru juga berhasil menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran virtual berbasis metaverse yang mendukung berbagai materi pelajaran, serta mengintegrasikan teknologi ini untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman konsep ruas garis bangun datar siswa kelas II SD Supriyadi dengan penerapan model PBL berbantuan alat peraga manipulatif. Serta mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas II SD Supriyadi dengan penerapan model PBL berbantuan alat peraga manipulatif.s.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil daripada penelitian diambil berdasarkan kegiatan siklus I, siklus II, serta siklus III yang sudah dilakukan. Di tiap-tiap siklus dilaksanakan dengan cara diawali skegiatan pendahuluan, dimana kegiatan pendahuluan tersebut berisi kegiatan pembuka pembelajaran, berdoa sebelum pembelajaran, Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh data yakni pada Siklus I didapatkan hasil 58% siswa tuntas, serta 42% siswa tidak tuntas dengan kriteria cukup baik. Siklus II didapatkan hasil 79% siswa tuntas, serta 21% siswa tidak tuntas dengan kriteria baik. Lalu pada Siklus III didapatkan hasil 92% siswa tuntas, serta 8% siswa tidak tutas dengan kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan kemampuan kolaboratif peserta didik kelas V SDN Tawangmas 01 melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah menggunakan wordwall. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SD N Tawangmas 01. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V dengan jumlah 28 peserta didik. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis interaksi Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, visualisasi data, dan inferensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan media wordwall diperoleh dari 24 peserta didik yang mempunyai kriteria partisipasi tinggi dan nilai akhir 85.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil PISA tahun 2018-2022 ketangkasan numerasi matematis peserta didik kurang baik salah satunya pada materi Trigonometri. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena pembelajaran monoton yang menyebabkan peserta didik mengalami bosan, sehingga minat belajar mereka turun dan kemampuan numerasi menurun. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan menerapkan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang inovatif yang dapat menumbuhkan minat dan dorongan belajar yang berdampak siswa tidak mudah bosan serta meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi matematis siswa pada materi trigonometri dengan pengembangsan E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheets memenuhi valid, praktis, dan efektif. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian pengembangan Reaseard and Development (R&D) dan mengimplementasikan model ADDIE. Kemudian, perolehan validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken, kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil presentase angket respon siswa, dan efektivitas dari nilai awal dan akhir yang dianalisis dengan uji wilcoxon matched-paired signed test. Hasil pengembangan diperoleh hasil validasi ahli E-LKPD diperoleh skor 0,94213 dengan kriteria “sangat tinggi”, sedangkan perolehan validasi materi diperoleh skor 0,94147 dengan kriteria “sangat tinggi”. Selanjutnya, perolehan angket reaksi siswa peroleh skor 92,74% dengan kriteria “sangat baik” dan hasil evaluasi dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) =0,000 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak, sehingga ada perbedaan antara nilai numerasi matematis siswa kelas X SMK N 4 Semarang pada materi trigonometri sebelum dan setelah menerapkan E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheets yang dikembangkan selama kegiatan pembelajaran matematika. Kesimpulannya pengembangan E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheets terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa jenjang SMK materi trigonometri kelas 10 valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan terhadap kemampuan numerasi matematis siswa jenjang SMK pada materi trigonometri kelas 10.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang efektivitas model pembelajaran diskusi kelompok terhadap literasi matematika siswa pada materi persamaan lingkaran siswa kelas XI KGS 2 SMKN 7 Semarang. Diskusi kelompok yang diterapkan dalam penelitian adalah dengan memberikan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam menggunakan media powerpoint dimana siswa diberikan kebebasan dalam bereksplorasi membuat sub-materi persamaan lingkaran yang telah diberikan guru kepada masing-masing kelompok. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi matematika siswa setelah melaksanakan model pembelajaran diskusi kelompok. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Pre Experimental Designs – One Group Pretest Posttest Designs. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, di mana seluruh siswa kelas XI SMKN 7 Semarang dijadikan sampel. Sedangkan dalam pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes literasi meliputi pretest-posttest dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa efektivitas model pembelajaran diskusi kelompok berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap literasi matematika siswa dengan taraf signifikansi 0,001 menggunakan uji Wilcoxon.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the mathematical numeracy literacy skills of class X.11 students at SMA N 2 Semarang using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by E LKPD. This type of research is classroom action research with research subjects of 36 students in class X.11 SMA N 2 Semarang. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, tests and documentation. Data collection was carried out through a pre-test of mathematical numeracy literacy skills and a post-test of mathematical numeracy literacy skills. At the pre-cycle stage, the average value of the numerikal literacy test results was 52.56 with a completion percentage of 22.28%. In cycle 1 the average score was 66.28 with a completion percentage of 52.78%. In cycle 2 the average score was 83.98 with a completion percentage of 80.56%. See

Abstract

This study aims to create and develop interactive AR (Augmented Reality) GeoGebra learning tools for teaching transformation geometry to support a blended learning system. This approach employs the ADDIE development model, which consists of five phases. The research subjects include 50 fifth-semester students. The research instruments comprise validated questionnaires for material and media experts, student responses, and pre-test and post-test instruments that are both valid and reliable. The results indicate a high level of validity (90%) and excellent practicality as assessed by experts and users, with an N-gain of 0.39 in the experimental class, which outperformed the control class with an N-gain of 0.02. The study concludes that teaching transformation geometry using interactive GeoGebra learning media is more effective. This research implies leveraging the potential of AR technology integration in mathematics education to create interactive and effective learning experiences.

Abstract

Background: Understanding mathematical concepts is essential for students, as it forms the basis for developing other mathematical abilities. Many students struggle with abstract mathematical ideas, particularly in geometry.Aim: This study aims to examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of GeoGebra-based interactive multimedia in enhancing students’ understanding of triangles and quadrilaterals.Method: This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The subjects involved were seventh-grade students at a junior high school. Validation of the product was conducted by two material experts and two media experts. Practicality was assessed using student response questionnaires, while effectiveness was measured through a quasi-experimental design involving a pretest-posttest control group. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis to determine the improvement in conceptual understanding.Result: Validation scores reached 88% (material) and 88.2% (media), indicating high validity. Student feedback showed positive responses toward the multimedia's usability and engagement. The experimental group outperformed the control group, with a higher average score, demonstrating the effectiveness of the developed multimedia.Conclusion: GeoGebra-based interactive multimedia is a valid, practical, and effective tool for improving students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly in triangle and quadrilateral topics. Its integration into classroom instruction enhances engagement and supports meaningful learning experiences. Future research is recommended to investigate the long-term effects of such multimedia on students’ conceptual retention, its application to other mathematical domains and grade levels, and its integration with collaborative or inquiry-based learning approaches.

Abstract

The implementation of three-dimensional textbooks in both public and private elementary schools within the Semarang city area remains limited with most institutions still relying on conventional printed versions. However, AR-based mathematics textbooks—already adopted in parts of Indonesia—offer interactive visual experiences that can enhance students’ critical and creative thinking. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model developed by Luther-Sutopo, which includes six phases: concept development, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. A limited trial was conducted at SDN Sawah Besar 01 Semarang. The outcomes of the study are as follows: (1) The development of the 2nd grade thematic AR textbook linked to the Pancasila Student Profile, featuring engaging and interactive AR content; (2) high validation scores from experts—89 (material) and 87.75 (media)—indicating strong suitability for use in thematic learning at the second-grade level; (3) Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) results demonstrated a statistically significant improvement (p < 0.05) in critical and creative thinking among students using the AR textbook compared to the control group. These results suggest that AR-enhanced thematic textbooks are both effective and viable for wider adoption in elementary schools across Semarang.
