Abstract

Objectives. This study utilized students from the University of PGRI Semarang who were majoring in physical education and health recreation. The study aimed to apply the Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type (FITT) training method to design and manage physical exercise programs that would help achieve specific fitness or sports objectives. The primary focus of the study was to increase VO2 max by utilizing the FITT principle. Materials and method. The study employed a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental design, specifically a randomized controlled trial with a pretest-posttest. The research involved 160 participants and utilized the Multi Fitness Test (MFT) to measure lung capacity endurance or VO2 max. The implementation of the FITT principle treatment led to improved aerobic endurance, as evidenced by the results of the pretest and posttest. Result. The results of the paired samples test showed that the significance level is less than 0.05, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This suggests that there is a considerable impact of the FITT method on enhancing the VO2 max capacity of respondents. The study revealed an 18% increase in VO2 max capacity from the pretest to the post-test. Conclusion. The study conducted has demonstrated that implementing FITT principles in an exercise program in a systematic manner has resulted in a remarkable enhancement of VO2 max capacity. Furthermore, this model can serve as a substitute method for instructors and educators to impart knowledge and training.

Abstract

Objective. The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of badminton sport achievement coaching at the PB Arista Semarang club. Materials and Methods. Qualitative methodologies were implemented in this investigation. Interviews, documentation, and observation are employed as data collection methods. The data analysis or research stage is comprised of four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results. The first aspect of this investigation is that athletes at PB Arista Semarang are classified into four categories: basic, middle, main, and achievement. Secondly, all coaches are athletes and possess Badminton World Federation (BWF) certificates. Third, the management is comprised of coaches and proprietors who collaborate effectively and consistently. Conclusion. In particular, the administration of achievement coaching has been implemented with a relatively effective strategy, despite the presence of some challenges from both athletes and their parents.

Abstract

Objectives. This research is innovative in that it seeks to provide information by analyzing each match between the Spanish team and various other countries. The analysis will encompass a variety of categories, such as play, shots, passes, ball possession, and shots on goal. The goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the supporting elements that can influence the outcome of a football match. Materials and Methods. This investigation employs a descriptive methodology, which is a research approach that is designed to provide a comprehensive account of existing phenomena, including those that are presently occurring and those that have occurred in the past. This study describes the condition of players in the Spanish team's Euro Cup match in the context of this study. The data is presented in the form of numerical data using audiovisual media aids, specifically recordings of the Spanish National Team's match in the 2024 Euro Cup in Germany, using a table format from Match Analysis. Result. The Spanish team has an average ball possession of over 50% and a ball possession of over 55%, with a total of over 500 passes in each match. Based on the number of shots toward the goal, the Spanish team has a higher average success rate than all other teams it has encountered, with an average of 52% and an average of 50% successful shots. Consequently, the Spanish team has a superior game control and a successful game. Conclusions. The Spanish Team will emerge as the champion of the 2024 Euro Cup by winning every match, beginning with the group stage, and continuing until they become the undisputed champions. This will be achieved by incorporating all the elements of a successful football game.

Abstract

Kebiasaan memegang gadget tidak dapat terlepas dari kehidupan manusia, termasuk anak-anak. Karena peran orangtua mengenalkan gadget ke anak, sehingga anak menjadi ketergantungan terhadap gadget. Untuk membuat anak tenang, mau makan, mudah diatur dengan meminjamkan gadget ke anak. Desa Lemberang merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Banyumas, dengan jumlah anak-anak yang tergolong tinggi. Kebiasaan anak-anak bermain gadget dapat mengurangi kemampuan motorik anak. Solusi yang ditawarkan tim pengabdi adalah mengenalkan permainan petanque sebagai alternatif mengurangi ketergantungan anak terhadap gadget. Metode yang digunakan adalah service learning dengan tahap 1 pengadaan sarana prasarana, tahap 2 sosialisasi petanque, tahap 3 praktek bermain petanque. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil pengabdian menghasilkan tingkat antusias anak-anak bermain petanque mencapai 90 persen. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini, permainan petanque dapat menjadi salah satu aktivitas yang terbukti mampu mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap gadget.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran softball di SMA Negeri 3 Semarang yang hanya menekankan teori saja, keterlibatan siswa secara langsung dalam praktek softball tidak dirasakan secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan hanya siswa tertentu yang memiliki minat pada olahraga tersebut, sehingga dikhawatirkan bagi siswa lain tidak memiliki minat pada olahraga ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat siswa SMA Negeri 3 Semarang terhadap pendekatan TARL materi softball. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey dengan pendekatan deskpriptif kuantitatif dan instrumen penelitiannya menggunakan angket (kuesioner). Adapun sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI-5 SMA Negeri 3 Semarang dan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat siswa kelas XI-5 SMA Negeri 3 Semarang terhadap pendekatan TARL materi softball dominan tinggi yaitu sebanyak 22 siswa (71%), kemudian minat siswa sangat tinggi sebanyak 7 siswa (23%), minat siswa sedang sebanyak 2 siswa (6%), dan tidak terdapat minat siswa yang rendah dalam penerapan TARL pada materi softball ini.

Abstract

Era digital menuntut para pendidik untuk memiliki kemampuan beradaptasi dengan teknologi yang mendukung proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan kinerja. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah melalui Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM), sebuah inovasi dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia untuk mendukung implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Namun, hadirnya PMM tidak dapat digunakan secara maksimal oleh guru SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang, karena belum mengerti dan memahami dalam pengoperasian dan pemanfaatannya terutama terkait dengan bukti karya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang dalam hal membuat bukti karya pembelajaran sehingga mendukung peningkatan kinerja guru yang profesional. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman PMM dan kemampuan guru dalam membuat bukti karya pembelajaran, yang ditunjukkan dengan semua guru (100%) menghasilkan modul ajar, bahan ajar, artikel ilmiah, dan praktik baik.

Abstract

Futsal is a sport similar to football which is played indoors and played by 2 teams consisting of 5 people. The problem of this research is how interested female students of SMAN 1 AMBARAWA are in taking part in extracurricular futsal at school. This research aims to find out how interested female students at SMAN 1 AMBARAWA are in taking part in extracurricular futsal. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using a survey method. In this study, the sample used was class The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire using a Likert scale test. The research results will be further detailed into 2 factors, namely intrinsic and extrinsic. Where at 1). The intrinsic factor in the interest of female students at SMAN 1 Ambarawa to take part in extracurricular futsal can be categorized as very high with the number of students being 28 students, 56%. 2). External factors in the interest of female students at SMAN 1 Ambarawa Ambarawa to take part in futsal extracurriculars are in the very high category from 5 indicators including: a). Infrastructure facilities in the very high category with 43 female students (86%), b) environment in the high category with 26 female students (52%), c) Training indicators in the very high category with 37 female students (74%), d) Friends in the category very high with 34 female students (68%), e) Parents are in the very high category with 44 female students (88%) So it can be concluded that the interest of female students at SMAN 1 AMBARAWA in participating in futsal extracurriculars is in the very high category, which means the female students are very interested in take part in the futsal extracurricular that will be held

Abstract

Background: Rhythmic gymnastics plays a vital role in developing students' motor skills, coordination, and rhythm, yet many still face challenges in mastering movement concepts. Objectives: This study compared the effectiveness of Peer Teaching and Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning models in improving rhythmic gymnastics learning outcomes. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest–posttest was conducted on 68 eighth-grade students (male and female) at State Junior High School 4 Semarang, divided into Peer Teaching (n=34) and TPS (n=34) groups. Learning outcomes were assessed using a validated rhythmic gymnastics performance test, and data were analyzed descriptively with gain score calculation. Results: The TPS group achieved a greater improvement in posttest scores (from 67.21 to 79.59; +18.41%) compared to the Peer Teaching group (from 79.18 to 79.85; +0.85%). These results indicate that TPS enhances students' understanding, coordination, and engagement in rhythmic gymnastics learning. Conclusions: TPS is recommended for physical education teachers to improve performance, particularly for students with lower initial skills. Further studies should explore its long-term effects and retention.

Abstract

Kurangnya peran serta orang dewasa dalam mendampingi aktivitas anak berdampak pada rendahnya antusiasme anak terhadap kegiatan olahraga, serta tingginya frekuensi penggunaan perangkat digital.Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh anak-anak di desa ini meliputi kecanduan gadget serta kurangnya wawasan orang tua mengenai penanganan cedera olahraga, khususnya melalui metode sport massage. Sebagai solusi, tim pengabdi melaksanakan program pelatihan selama tiga bulan yang didukung dengan penyediaan fasilitas olahraga. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan penyuluhan, dengan melibatkan sebanyak 25 anak sebagai peserta. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan, tingkat minat anak dalam bermain bulutangkis tergolong tinggi, terdiri dari 66,8% kategori tinggi, 25% sangat tinggi, dan 10,2% cukup. Sementara itu, tingkat kehadiran selama program berlangsung mencapai rata-rata 89,7%. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pendampingan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan anak-anak dalam olahraga, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua dalam mengatasi cedera olahraga. Lebih lanjut, program ini membuka peluang lahirnya calon atlet muda berprestasi di cabang olahraga bulutangkis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of jump shot and bank shot training on free-throw accuracy in the basketball extracurricular program at SMPN 4 Semarang. The research employed a quantitative experimental method using a pretest-posttest two-group design. The subjects consisted of 28 students who actively participated in the basketball extracurricular activity, divided into two treatment groups. The first group received jump shot training, while the second group received bank shot training. The instrument used was a free-throw accuracy test conducted over 10 trials, both before and after the training sessions. The data were analysed using a paired sample t-test, which yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This indicates that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of jump shot and bank shot training on improving students’ free-throw accuracy. These types of structured shooting drills are recommended as part of regular training programs to enhance the basic basketball skills of school-level players.
