Abstract

Good governance is the way in organizing resources and solve the problems of the public. Good governance arose due to dissatisfaction on the performance of Government organizer of public affairs. Good governance is needed in seeking and maintaining a social life, respect of the rights and obligations of every Member of society to realize. Boarding schools are also included in community groups. Each boarding schools must have had the caregiver, the organizational structure, students, and the code of conduct as well as the conditions that must be observed. There has to be cooperation from all parties so that community life created an orderly and harmonious. So, the principles of good governance should be applied in the system of governance. In this study, using this type of qualitative research. While the approach used, namely the approach of case studies. This type of approach to study intensively on one object of study it as a case that is about the application of good governance on boarding schools Daughter Al-Amien. As a result, the organizational system in boarding schools Daughter Al-Amien looks pretty good. Stewards still provide leniency on students to voice your opinions and defend themselves. Participation and responsibilities of students themselves as a society have also been quite good. The Naat dare infringe but remain ready to accept any consequences.

Abstract

Social media has a strong appeal to today's young generation. The use of social media with religious nuances in f-math can provide context that is relevant to religious values, so that students can connect mathematics with moral principles and have a positive perception of mathematics learning. The use of social media-based f-math media can also influence students' cognitive abilities in understanding mathematical concepts. With dynamic interactions and attractive visuals, students tend to be more interested and participate more actively in mathematics learning. Apart from that, the use of social media in mathematics learning can influence students' affective abilities. Active involvement in use so that students' level of confidence and motivation can increase. This can lead to the formation of a positive attitude towards mathematics and increase self-confidence in solving mathematical problems. The use of f-math media based on social media with religious nuances can have a positive influence on students' creative thinking abilities as well as cognitive and affective abilities in learning mathematics. By utilizing the appeal of social media and emphasizing the relevance of mathematics to religious values, students can view mathematics more positively and develop their creative thinking skills in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the application of differential equations in modeling the population growth of Kediri City through a logistic growth model, and aims to predict the city's population for the years 2021-2030. Employing a literature study approach, this research utilizes secondary data sourced from the official website of the BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Kediri City. The data encompasses population figures from 2005 to 2020. To ensure the accuracy of the population predictions made by the logistic growth model, a comparison with the official data from the Central Statistics Agency is necessary. A critical aspect of this research involves estimating the carrying capacity of Kediri City's population, which is identified as 295,672 individuals in the year 2030. The findings indicate a significant growth trend in the population, characterized by a specific growth rate. To validate the accuracy of the logistic growth model, the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) method was applied, resulting in an error percentage that falls within the highly accurate category, thus affirming the reliability of the model in predicting population growth trends.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implemetasi strategi pendidikan multicultural di SDI NU Pare yang menggunakan pendekatan kearifan local dalam prosesnya. Melalui penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural diharapkan siswa atau peserta didik mampu mengoptimalkan pola pikir dan pengetahuannya pada nila-nilai karakter berbasis multikultural serta akhlak sehingga terwujud dalam perilaku Multikulturalisme di dalam masyarakat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang menggambarkan secara rinci dan mendalam objek yang sedang dibahas. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan implemetasi pendidikan multicultural berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Diantara strategi implementasinya membangun dan menanamkan sikap gotong royong, toleransi, Bersatu dalam keragaman dan saling menghormati serta tenggang rasa, dan membangun komunikasi lintas budaya. Selain strategi itu, SDI NU Pare menggunakan strategi komunikasi Bahasa local atau Bahasa jawa pada saat di sekolah di hari-hari tertentu. Tujuannya untuk mengenalkan budaya local setempat serta melestarikannya melalui komunikasi formal. Implementasi pendidikan multicultural dari hasil penelitian diharapkan dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan lain serta dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar nilai karakter berbasis multicultural dapat tertanam dengan baik pada peserta didik.

Abstract

A technology is essentially created to make human life easier and more comfortable. There is almost no area of ??human life that is free from its use, either directly or indirectly. This is also a result of the very rapid development of technology. Technology was created to facilitate every human activity. Born from human thoughts that try to facilitate their activities which are then applied in everyday life, one of which is in the teaching and learning process in schools. Thus in the learning process, technology can be used as a learning resource. Today, technology products have become a daily necessity in carrying out life activities. The use of cellphones and internet is not something strange or new anymore. Mobile is an electronic telecommunication device which has basic capabilities conventionally which is easy to carry and does not need to be connected to a telephone network using a cable. Mobile has a function to receive calls or SMS (short messages), cellphones can also function as a means of tracing, recording all activities, as a means of information and can even be used to explore the world of the internet depending on the features of the cellphone.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media based on canva hyperlinks to increase students' interest in learning the topics of Ecology and Biodiversity. The main problem faced is the lack of attractive and interactive learning media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study are seventh-grade students class VII-2 at MTsN 6 Nganjuk. Questionnaire data were analyzed quantitatively. The assessment results show that the interactive learning media based on canva hyperlinks is highly valid, with an average score of 87.14% by content experts and 100% by media experts. The practicality of the media is demonstrated by an 83% score from the student questionnaire, while the effectiveness test shows an increase in learning interest scores from 58% (low category) to 80% (moderate category), with an N-Gain value of 0.5 (moderate category). The Paired Sample T-Test results indicate a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, which shows a significant difference between pretest and posttest results of students"™ learning interest. In conclusion, this media is feasible and effective to use for increasing students"™ interest in learning Ecology and Biodiversity material.

Abstract

Education is an effort to improve knowledge, one of which is by conducting studies on the Qur'an and Mathematics. This research examines the verses of the Qur'an containing odd-even concepts and their relevance to mathematics. By using the library research method, the verse selection step is taken from observations of the translated Qur'an. The mathematical concepts found are materials related to odd-even concepts, such as KPK (Least Common Multiple) and FPB (Greatest Common Factor), Venn diagrams, and Phi in ṭawwāf. As the result, the number of verses and the number of surahs show odd-even numbers. If the numbers are added up to 38, these will be equal to the number of letters in the syahādah sentence.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is the study of mathematics from various cultural forms, allowing communities to discover and explore mathematical concepts within their culture. Cultural values of mathematics can be utilized in mathematics education. This research aims to identify the mathematical concepts found in Pura Kerta Bhuwana Giri Wilis Nganjuk and use them as components in preparing mathematics modules for seventh-grade junior high school students. Pura Kerta Bhuwana Giri Wilis is in the Loceret District of Nganjuk Regency. This temple has a strong traditional Javanese architectural style, featuring tiered roofs, relief decorations, and ornaments that symbolize Hindu beliefs. This research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data collection through interviews was conducted to understand the history, philosophy, and components of Pura Kerta Bhuwana Giri Wilis Nganjuk. Observation and documentation were carried out to analyze the mathematical elements in the parts of the Pura. The research results show that Pura Kerta Bhuwana Giri Wilis contains mathematical concepts such as flat shapes (squares, rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, rhombuses), three-dimensional shapes (rectangular pyramids, rectangular prisms, cylinders), and geometric transformations (reflection and rotation). Using the Self-Directing Learning model, the mathematical concepts are then implemented into the Lesson Plan (RPP). The Self-Directing Learning model consists of three steps: Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluating. Ethnomathematics from Pura Kerta Bhuwana Giri Wilis are expected to enhance students' understanding of mathematics and develop learning media based on local culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integration of Islamic values into the teaching of social arithmetic at the junior high school level through a contextual approach, to identify forms of Islamic value representation within the instructional module, and to explore students’ perceptions of mathematical understanding through an Islamic narrative-based approach. This qualitative descriptive research employed data collection techniques including document analysis of the module, semi-structured interviews, and limited classroom observation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the module “Young Muslim Entrepreneur with Mathematics” successfully integrates Islamic values into social arithmetic content through meaningful storytelling and reflective learning activities. Islamic values are represented through selected Qur’anic verses, hadiths, contextual stories, calculation problems, and learning tasks aligned with sharia principles such as honesty, prohibition of usury (riba), zakat, and social responsibility. Students demonstrated improved conceptual understanding and increased motivation to learn mathematics through this integrative approach. The modules analyzed in this study are the results of the development of the theses of students in the Masters Program in Mathematics Education. These findings suggest that mathematics learning integrated with Islamic values not only enhances cognitive comprehension but also contributes to character formation and students’ spiritual awareness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran aritmetika sosial tingkat SMP melalui pendekatan kontekstual, mengidentifikasi bentuk representasi nilai keislaman dalam modul pembelajaran, serta mengeksplorasi persepsi siswa terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika melalui pendekatan berbasis kisah Islami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui analisis dokumen modul, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan observasi terbatas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul “Pengusaha Muslim Muda bersama Matematika” berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam materi aritmetika sosial melalui narasi kontekstual dan aktivitas reflektif. Representasi nilai keislaman ditampilkan dalam bentuk ayat, hadis, konteks kisah, soal perhitungan, dan aktivitas pembelajaran yang mencerminkan prinsip-prinsip syariah seperti kejujuran, larangan riba, zakat, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Siswa menunjukkan pemahaman konsep matematika yang lebih baik serta minat belajar yang meningkat melalui pendekatan ini. Modul yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini merupakan hasil pengembangan dari tesis mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Matematika. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran matematika berbasis integrasi nilai keislaman tidak hanya memperkuat pemahaman kognitif, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter dan kesadaran spiritual peserta didik.

Abstract

Utilizing advanced learning technologies, such as data analysis and artificial intelligence, teachers can identify student learning patterns, anticipate possible difficulties, and provide specific additional support. For example, by analyzing students' engagement with online learning platforms, teachers can tailor interventions to address individual learning needs, leading to more effective learning outcomes. Moreover, personalized learning in a digital environment goes beyond the delivery of content; it involves fostering 21st century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving. Research has shown that integrating technology into project-based learning activities can significantly enhance students' ability to develop these skills. By optimizing the potential of personalized learning approaches in a digital environment, educators can ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to develop the skills necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world.
