Abstract

This research aims to examine improving students' critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes using the Guided Discovery Learning learning model. Critical thinking and scientific attitudes are important aspects to develop in learning, especially in science learning in elementary schools. Critical thinking is part of the cognitive work process and a scientific attitude develops affective aspects. A quasi-experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design is the research methodology. Students in the fifth grade at SDN Bukit Duri 05 in South Jakarta served as the research subjects. The control group received therapy using the Free Discovery Learning learning model, whereas the experimental group received treatment using the Guided Discovery Learning learning model. According to the study's findings, there was no difference between the experimental class's and the control group's early critical thinking skills. The results showed that there was no difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of early scientific attitude abilities. Additionally, compared to students in the control class, those in the experimental class showed a different growth in critical thinking abilities. Lastly, it was discovered that the experimental class and the control class had different rising scientific views.

Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam IPA yang didalamnya ada beberapa konsep skema konseptual yang saling terkait, tumbuh sebagai hasil percobaan dan pengamatan juga berguna untuk dipelajari lebih dalam. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menjabarkan model pembelajaran SFE serta faktor yang dapat mendukung penerapan model SFE terhadap siswa kelas IV di SDN Slipi 11 Pagi. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif yang serupa dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dibuat dalam 2 kali pertemuan dengan melibatkan 25 siswa kelas IV. Data diperoleh serupa dengan teknik traingualasi yaitu: observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Bersumber pada hasil penelitian yakni penerapan model SFE diantaranya: guru mengutarakan kompetensi yang perlu dicapai, guru menjelaskan point – point penting dan mendemonstrasikan bahan ajar, guru memberikan peluang kepada siswa untuk menyampaikan atau mempresentasikan materi, guru merumuskan hasil ide dan pandangan siswa. Selanjutnya, guru mengulas kembali pembelajaran tersebut. Kemudian, faktor yang mendukung penarapan model SFE dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep materi IPA Perubahan Wujud Benda tersebut dengan membuat peta konsep.

Abstract

Penilaian kurikulum 2013 menekankan terhadap penilaian autentik yang mengukur kompetensi sikap, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan sesuai dengan proses dan hasil. Penilaian kinerja (performance assessment) disertai rubrik penilaian  salah satu alternatif bentuknya, pada dasarnya guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun rubrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1)menganalisis pengembangan instrumen penilaian kinerja siswa; 2)menganalisis karakteristik (validitas) instrumen penilaian kinerja siswa; 3)menghasilkan  produk instrumen penilaian kinerja pada muatan IPA kurikulum 2013 tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan  (research and development) dengan model  4-D (Four D Models) yaitu define, design, develop, disseminate. Instrumen yang dipergunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian  yaitu validasi instrumen penilaian kinerja, format angket dan wawancara  respon siswa dan guru. Uji coba validitas dilakukan oleh 2 ahli materi dengan hasil “sudah  layak” dengan persentase sebesar 98.79 %. Hasil validasi ahli evaluasi dinyatakan “sudah layak” dan persentase sebesar 95,05 %. Instrumen penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi  ketentuan metode penelitian RnD model 4-D.  Produk dalam studi ini berupa instrumen penilaian kinerja siswa muatan IPA kurikulum 2013 mendapatkan kategori sangat layak setelah melalui uji coba instrumen dengan para pakar sehingga   siap digunakan  dan siap  direplikasi untuk materi atau muatan mata pelajaran yang lain. Abstract

Development is research with the output of a product, either simply or structurally. Development research is used to design and produce a product systematically and meet internal practicality criteria. universal and use the framework of science. To realize physics education students, of course, the statistical physics module is in accordance with student needs. This study aims to develop a learning cycle-based statistical physics module/book. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D model (Four D) which is a learning device development model. The 4D development model consists of 4 main stages, namely: 1. Define (Delimitation), 2. Design (Design), 3. Develop (Development) and 4. Disseminate (Dissemination), adapted to the 4-P Model, namely Defining, Designing, Development , and Dissemination. The products developed are in the form of modules or textbooks. The data source is physics education students at FKIP UHAMKA. Data sources were obtained from informants, documents, activity processes and validators. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used the gain score test, quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Model validation was carried out using expert judgment using the Delphi technique.The results of this study are the modules / textbooks of physics statistics. Validation from material experts / academic experts, display media and revisions were 77.03 and 86.38 with very good categories. The results of the reaction evaluation to measure the respondents' responses to the quality of the implementation of the modules / textbooks were considered good. In the effectiveness of the use of modules/textbooks there are significant changes to students before and after, as evidenced by the high effectiveness or feasibility of the statistical physics module/textbook in the criteria of "Very High" and the N-Gain percentage score shows the number 92 meaning the module/coursebook statistical physics. For prophetic value, in this case it is integrated through effectiveness in using the modules / textbooks used, prophetic assessors are taken from several criteria, namely shidiq means honest with an average of 8.64, amanah means responsibility with an average of 9.08 and tabliq / truth / communicative with an average of 9.33, fathonah which means intelligent / curious, with an average of 8.67. The conclusions from the results of this study are in the form of modules / textbooks that can be used as a guide by students and lecturers in conducting lectures at FKIP UHAMKA

Abstract

The study of scientific education, media studies, and moral instruction is one of the important studies in character education, especially in physics education. The research aims to investigate the relationship between wave material and the Gifted serial films and to determine the prophethood of the Gifted serial films and their relevance to students. The research method used was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The primary data sources were observations, interviews, and documentation from students of class XI MAN 14 Jakarta, and secondary data was collected from literature and documents. The study's significant finding is the link between wave material and gifted serial films, specifically transverse waves, which include light and electromagnetic waves, and longitudinal waves, which include sound waves and brain waves. The prophethood of gifted serial films and their relevance to students was found to be significant, with Siddiq, Amanah, Fathonah, and Tabligh being the most prophetic. The results also showed a prophetic connection between The Gifted series and wave material. The prophetic link to the students was of a character, trustworthiness, and prophetic nature, as well as Fatonah. Therefore, The Gifted series can be used as material, particularly for transverse waves.

Abstract

Most of the Physics Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) teachers need help understanding the making of the Merdeka Curriculum teaching module and still depend on lesson plans from the 2013 Curriculum. This hinders the implementation of the new curriculum designed to improve teaching quality. This study aims to analyze the independent curriculum teaching module using the experiential learning cycle in the physics MGMP. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research method with a participatory research design. The research subjects involved 15 physics teachers from MGMP who participated in the two-day training, totalling 16 lesson hours. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, with instruments in the form of interview guides and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the thematic analysis method. The results showed that 88% of the participants considered the material discussed very important, and 90% expressed great satisfaction with the training method. This study concludes that training is efficacious in improving teachers' understanding and skills in developing teaching modules relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum. The implication of this research is the need for continuous development of training programs to support the implementation of the new curriculum and improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the interaction between pressure and volume in gas systems, as explained by Boyle’s Law, has significant applications in industrial and medical fields. This study examines the relationship between pressure and volume through practical experiments using constant piston height. Measurements were carried out to validate the inverse proportionality between pressure and volume under constant temperature conditions. The findings revealed a consistent increase in pressure across three experiments, with average values of 100.84 Pa, 100.87 Pa, and 100.88 Pa, respectively. These results demonstrate the applicability of Boyle’s Law in understanding gas behavior and optimizing gas-based systems. This research contributes to practical applications such as medical ventilators and gas cylinder designs, offering insights for technological innovation in these areas.

Abstract

Abstract Based on the needs analysis observations using the 3E framework (Empathy, Expansive Thinking, and Execute), the results show that most of the JT II MGMP physics teachers still need physics material review and support media in the form of teaching materialsintegrated with the Google Play Books application to design differentiated learning in Phase F Class XI of the Merdeka Curriculum. The method used in this activity is online discussion and training. The responses of the participants were measured through a survey at the end of the training. Based on the survey results, 56.4% of the participants stated that this training had represented the needs of physics learning, 57.8% of the participants stated that the training results could be applied in learning, and 60.9% of the participants stated that the presentation of the material was complete and clear, the three results were included in the satisfactory category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the training went well. Abstrak Berdasarkan observasi analisis kebutuhan dengan menggunakan kerangka berpikir 3E (Empathy, Expansive Thinking, dan Execute) diperoleh hasil bahwa sebagian besar guru Fisika MGMP JT II masih memerlukan bedah materi Fisika, dan media pendukung berupa bahan ajar yang terintegrasi pada aplikasi Google Play Books untuk merancang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada Fase F kelas XI Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah diskusi dan pelatihan secara daring. Respon peserta diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner di akhir pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil survei, 56,4% peserta menyatakan pelatihan ini sudah mewakili kebutuhan pembelajaran fisika, 57,8% peserta menyatakan hasil pelatihan dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran, dan 60,9% peserta menyatakan pemaparan materi sudah lengkap dan jelas, ketiga hasil tersebut termasuk dalam kategori memuaskan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilakukan sudah berjalan dengan baik.
