Abstract

Geometry learning at the elementary school level is often considered boring and uninteresting, due to monotonous teaching methods and lack of linking the material to everyday life. To increase students' interest, creativity and understanding, this research integrates the modified traditional  Mountain Tread games with the concept of Fibonacci. This approach uses qualitative research methods with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation during the learning process. The results show that this strategy is able to improve students' understanding of geometric shapes and patterns, as well as stimulate creativity in making patterns and exploring geometric shapes. In addition to providing a fun learning experience and increasing self-confidence, this approach also enriches the development of innovative learning methods based on local culture and modern mathematical concepts. Thus, this study shows that the integration of traditional games and Fibonacci concepts is effective in improving creativity and understanding of geometry at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research aims to examine improving students' critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes using the Guided Discovery Learning learning model. Critical thinking and scientific attitudes are important aspects to develop in learning, especially in science learning in elementary schools. Critical thinking is part of the cognitive work process and a scientific attitude develops affective aspects. A quasi-experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design is the research methodology. Students in the fifth grade at SDN Bukit Duri 05 in South Jakarta served as the research subjects. The control group received therapy using the Free Discovery Learning learning model, whereas the experimental group received treatment using the Guided Discovery Learning learning model. According to the study's findings, there was no difference between the experimental class's and the control group's early critical thinking skills. The results showed that there was no difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of early scientific attitude abilities. Additionally, compared to students in the control class, those in the experimental class showed a different growth in critical thinking abilities. Lastly, it was discovered that the experimental class and the control class had different rising scientific views.

Abstract

In mechanics lectures there are many abstract concepts. The existence of abstract concepts creates misperceptions among students. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Multiple Representation-based mechanics lectures using YouTube video content on concept mastery. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Study Program, FKIP UHAMKA. The respondents in this study were 3rd semester students who were taking a mechanics course. This research uses a pre-experimental design method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The results of the research show that the use of YouTube video content in multiple representation-based mechanics lectures is quite effective in increasing respondents' mastery of concepts. This can be seen from the post-test results of respondents, the majority of whom experienced an increase with an average score of 63 with the N - Gain score obtained having an average increase of 46.78% or in the medium category. The benefit of this research is knowing the respondent's level of concept mastery.

Abstract

Permasalahan secara umum yang muncul di Indonesia terkait peran guru yaitu profesionalisme guru dipandang masih rendah, salah satu faktornya adalah kurangnya motivasi guru dalam mengembangkan kualitas dirinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains dan kreativitas peserta didik kelas IV SDN Ciracas 07 Pagi yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan proses pembelajaran IPA tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi Tumbuhan, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang berbentuk eksperimen. teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes, angket dan dokumentasi teknik analisis data yaitu Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, uji hipotesis dan hipotesis statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan kreativitas peserta didik kelas IV SDN Ciracas 07 Pagi pada pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan literasi sains antara kelompok yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan kelompok yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

Fenomena yang terjadi ketika siswa belajar IPA di kelas dengan metode konvensional dan umpan balik yang minimal adalah banyak siswa yang kebingungan dan mengalami kesulitan untuk memahami konsep IPA sehingga mereka sering tidak dapat menerapkan konsep-konsep yang telah dipelajari dalam pelajaran IPA untuk memecahkan masalah dalam pembelajaran. tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis, membuktikan dan mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis IPA siswa kelas III di SDN Pinangsia 01. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif. Dalam metode eksperimen terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sehingga pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sampling jenuh atau semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Sample yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III A berjumlah 32 orang dan siswa kelas III B berjumlah 32 orang. Dengan jumlah keseluruhan sampel 64 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara kedua model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata A1B1 sebesar 88.67, A1B2 sebesar 61.60, A2B1 diperoleh nilai rata 81.09, A2B2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 59.27. Analisis menggunakan uji Anava 2 Jalur dengan kriteria nilai Sig. menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. 0.262 lebih besar dari tingkat signifikansi (α = 0,05)
