Abstract

The article was to assist the community through local potential in improving the economy of the Semawot village community. The researchers used ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. The reseult show that the identification of local potentials owned by the village, Blok M, papaya and ginger tourism, processing of papaya which is usually only used for cooking ingredients, now it can be used as a source of income for residents by making chips. Besides papaya, there is also ginger which is usually only used as an additional spice in the kitchen. Now it can be processed into a drink that is rich in benefits and helps increase body immunity. Mixed with lemon and honey, it can be turned into an immune boosting drink that can increase body immunity during this pandemic. Apart from the plant aspect, there is also the aspect of empowering Tilapia as one of the incomes for local residents Keywords: Local Potential Economic, Asset Based Community, Improving Local Economic
