Abstract

Program magang merupakan bagian dari kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan praktik kerja. Kegiatan magang di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Provinsi Kalimantan Barat merupakan program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Mandiri yang memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk memahami secara langsung proses administrasi publik, pelayanan masyarakat, serta penerapan teknologi dalam sistem pemerintahan (E-Government). Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan sejak September hingga November 2024 dengan menggunakan tiga metode yakni pembekalan, pendampingan, monev, serta penulisan laporan. Dalam kegiatan ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya melakukan observasi, tetapi juga terlibat aktif dalam pelayanan administrasi kependudukan, seperti penginputan data, pendampingan layanan front office, serta pengelolaan dokumen kependudukan berbasis sistem informasi. Pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh pembimbing instansi membantu mahasiswa memahami alur birokrasi, etika kerja pemerintahan, serta pentingnya pelayanan publik yang cepat, tepat, dan akuntabel. Melalui kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi secara berkala, mahasiswa juga mendapatkan umpan balik konstruktif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalnya. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap administrasi publik, teknologi pelayanan kependudukan, dan etika kerja pemerintahan melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam pelayanan masyarakat, pengolahan data digital, dan penggunaan sistem SIAK. Mahasiswa juga memperoleh pengalaman membuat laporan kerja, mengikuti evaluasi, serta membangun jejaring profesional, sehingga lebih siap menghadapi dunia kerja dan mendukung transformasi digital birokrasi. Dengan demikian, program magang ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa sebagai sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan siap terjun ke dunia kerja, khususnya di sektor pelayanan publik.

Abstract

Abstract:  This community service activity is based on the need for students to gain education about Indonesia's strategic role in combating drug abuse, regional regulations to achieve ASEAN Free Drugs 2025, and the importance of youth as agents of change and social control in tackling drug trafficking and abuse. The community service activity is conducted in the Sungai Raya District of Kubu Raya Regency with the aim of providing education about Indonesia being free from drug syndicates towards ASEAN Free Drugs 2025. It will take time from May to August 2024, with activities including socialization, discussions game session, as well as documentation and reporting. The first sub-topic of the education covers three strategic steps in combating drugs: a soft approach involving preventive activities, a hard approach with firm actions, and a smart power approach. The second topic addresses the ASEAN Work Plan in achieving ASEAN Free Drugs 2025. Additionally, there will be socialization regarding youth as agents of change and social control by fostering good habits in the community to combat drug abuse.Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian ini didasari bahwa mahasiswa perlu mendapatkan edukasi mengenai peran strategis Indonesia dalam memberantas penyalahgunaan narkoba, regulasi regional dalam mewujudkan ASEAN Free Drugs 2025 dan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya peran pemuda sebagai agent of change dan agent of social control dalam memberantas peredaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan tujuan memberikan edukasi mengenai Indonesia bersih dari sindikat narkoba menuju ASEAN Free Drugs 2025. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari Mei hingga Agustus 2024 dengan bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari penyampaian materi, diskusi dan game edukasi, serta dokumentasi dan pelaporan. Edukasi mengenai sub-materi pertama yakni tiga langkah strategis dalam memberantas narkoba yakni soft appoarch dengan pendekatan berupa aktivitas pencegahan, hard approach dengan tindakan tegas, dan smart power approach. Kedua, ASEAN Work Plan guna mewujudkan ASEAN Free Drugs 2025. Serta, sosialisasi terkait pemuda sebagai agent of change dan agent of social control dengan membangun kebiasaan baik di lingkungan dalam memberantas penyalahgunaan narkoba.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a chemistry teaching module that integrates the local wisdom of Subulussalam, incorporating cultural elements such as Subulussalam batik, ikan bauh buluh, and nakan lancing, and to evaluate the responses of students and teachers to the module. The module is designed to contextualize acid-base chemistry concepts through local cultural practices, thereby making learning more meaningful and relevant. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collection is conducted through closed-ended questionnaires, and the data are analyzed using both quantitative and descriptive techniques. The module undergoes validation by experts in chemistry and instructional media and is tested on a sample of 66 students and 4 teachers. The results indicate that the chemistry teaching module based on Subulussalam local wisdom is both effective and relevant, as perceived by students and teachers. The integration of local content, such as Subulussalam batik, ikan bauh buluh, and nakan lancing, successfully links chemical concepts to students' real-life experiences, facilitating their understanding of abstract material. Furthermore, the module enhances learning motivation, argumentation skills, and scientific and cultural knowledge. Notably, learning based on local wisdom fosters cultural pride and strengthens global diversity character, aligning with the values of the Pancasila Student Profile and the Merdeka Curriculum. Consequently, this module not only teaches chemistry but also serves as a medium for character education, cultural preservation, and meaningful, contextual learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the phenomena of phubbing and hyperreality among Generation Z in Banda Aceh, a region with a strong collectivist and religious cultural background. Phubbing, defined as the act of ignoring direct social interactions in favor of engaging with digital devices, was analyzed through the lens of Jean Baudrillards theory of hyperreality, which describes the collapse of boundaries between the real and the simulated in postmodern society. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed to investigate the subjective experiences of individuals aged 1825. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, limited field observations in various social settings (e.g., campuses, cafs, libraries, sports areas, and public spaces), and documentation (field notes and recorded interviews). The data were analyzed using phenomenological thematic analysis and primary data triangulation. The findings revealed that phubbing and hyperreality reflected a significant shift from authentic social reality to a digitally constructed one. Interpersonal relationships and identity formations were increasingly mediated by simulation, including curated social media content and the pursuit of digital validation. These changes were found to contribute to the erosion of face-to-face communication, social alienation, identity disorientation, and the normalization of antisocial behavior. Additionally, fluid and alternative identities were formed through digital self-representations rather than through traditional social interaction. Within Banda Acehs collectivist cultural context, the emergence of phubbing among Generation Z indicated a value conflict between traditional norms of direct engagement and the virtual connectivity offered by digital culture. These findings underscore the need for critical digital literacy, intergenerational dialogue, and the development of balanced digital engagement practices to support healthier social realities for young people in culturally rooted societies.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak bagi seluruh sektor kehidupan, termasuk kawasan perbatasan di Kalimantan Barat yakni Entikong. Selain membutuhkan kebijakan yang berfokus pada pertumbuhan, kawasan perbatasan Entikong juga dihadapkan dengan melemahnya ekonomi masyarakat serta kondisi sosial politik akibat dari pandemi covid-19. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa virus ini menjadi ancaman kesehatan global lintas negara yang berdampak terhadap sektor ekonomi, sosial budaya, termasuk politik di perbatasan Indonesia. Tulisan ini disajikan untuk menjelaskan dampak dari pandemi covid-19 di perbatasan Entikong Kalimantan Barat. Penekanan utama dalam tulisan ini adalah aspek sosial politik yang menganalisis bagaimana pandemi covid-19 berdampak terhadap kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan politik di daerah perbatasan Entikong Kabupaten Sanggau. Tulisan ini menggunakan perspektif border governance dalam menjelaskan fenomena. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam tulisan ini adalah dengan wawancara dan studi pustaka. Data primer dalam penelitian ini berasal dari hasil wawancara. Sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh penulis serta dari studi pustaka. Dalam menganalisa penelitian ini penulis menggunakan pola induksi dengan tiga tahapan mengumpulkan data, pengolahan, dan analisis. Hasil dari tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa pandemi covid-19 berdampak terhadap entitas ketergantungan masyarakat perbatasan karena adanya kebijakan lockdown dari pemerintah Indonesia. Hal ini juga didukung oleh penutupan pintu perbatasan oleh Pemerintah Malaysia. Kebijakan lockdown ini juga berdampak pada berkurangnya aktivitas ekonomi dan meningkatnya ancaman keamanan. Sementara dari sisi politik, pandemi berdampak terhadap penundaan pilkada. Pandemi ini membutuhkan kebijakan terkait refocusing penggunaan anggaran yang dapat digunakan untuk upaya mitigasi covid-19 di perbatasan Entikong.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the PMRI approach on mathematical problem-solving skills based on the self-esteem of students at SD Negeri 31 Palembang. This research method is quasiexperimental. The research population is from grade 1 to grade 6 SD Negeri 31 Palembang. The sample used is the experimental class V.a totaling 26 students and the control class V.b totaling 25 students. The sampling technique in this research is random sampling. The treatment design was a posttest-only control design. data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and tests. The data collection technique was two-way ANOVA with a significance of 0,05. The result of this research is that there is a significant effect of the PMRI approach on mathematical problem-solving ability. There is a significant difference in the average mathematical problem-solving ability based on self-esteem. there is a significant interaction between learning approaches and self-esteem there is a mathematical problem-solving ability.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa yang terkandung pada tujuan pendidikan nasional dapat dilakukan melalui suatu metode pembelajaran konstruktivisme yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak pada siswa di sekolah dasar. Bertujuan untuk untuk menjelaskan penerapan model pembelajaran konstruktivisme assisted learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak di SD Negeri 1 Beureunuen. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar SD Negeri 1 Beureunuen. Untuk memperoleh data, peneliti menggunakan beberapa cara yaitu kuisioner (angket), wawancara, pengamatan, tes, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data bersifat kualitatif yang dikonsultasikan dengan makna demonstrasi secara aktual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran konstruktivisme dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak puisi, hal ini sesuai dengan fakta di lapangan bahwa peserta didik sangat senang dan gembira saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran konstruktivisme adalah kecilnya daya tampung ingatan jangka pendek sehingga mengalami kesulitan yang diserap waktu menyimak. .Diharapkan kepada orang tua untuk selalu membimbing peserta didik dalam hal yang bisa di contoh dan ditiru seperti bercerita, seringlah membaca dan bercerita dengan anak, sehingga anak- anak dapat dengan mudah menangkap isi dari membaca dengan mengetahui isi dari cerita anak harus menyimak karena dengan menyimak bisa diketahui isi yang ada dalam cerita tersebut

Abstract

The primary aim of this study is to explore the sources of English-speaking anxiety and ascertain the learners' future expectations regarding his English language proficiency. The study was conducted at a vocational school in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, using a narrative inquiry design. A 10th-grade student from the Hospitality and Tourism Industry class was purposively invited to participate voluntarily. Data was collected through semi-structured interview and analyzed thematically. The findings revealed that sources of the student' anxiety when speaking English included a lack of English vocabulary capacity and a lack of exposure to English as oral communication. Furthermore, the findings show that the student's future expectation of learning English as a foreign language in the classroom include becoming familiar with speaking English and to be able to talk to foreign guests without being nervous. This study highlights the need for further investigations into effective strategies to facilitate students' efforts in speaking English comfortably.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the basic functions of immigration in securing the area at the Entikong Border, so that we can see the work process in writing and what is happening in the field, especially at the Entikong Class II Immigration Office. The author uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method in describing the issues described. Data collection techniques were carried out in two ways, namely the interview process and literature study. Oversight of the Immigration function is explained through the Crucial Role of Immigration at the Entikong Border in establishing and improving integrated security in the Border area. The results of this study indicate that the performance of the Entikong Immigration Office through analysis of the Immigration function meet a fairly high standard of various forms of supervision and services can support the improvement of the quality and performance of the Entikong Immigration Office.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic began in Wuhan, China in late December 2019 and rapidly spread to all over the world. The COVID-19 caused by SARS-Cov-2 and more than one million people have been affected worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic not only impacts the health sector, but the pandemic triggered to the economic crisis with expansive social effects. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the international cooperation needs to be taken to responding and control the pandemic. Indonesia and Australia as a close neighbour, have worked closely in disaster risk management and currently cooperate to response the COVID-19. This study aims to describe the cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in responding the impacts of COVID-19. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection technique used based on secondary data in the form of literature review (library research) including books, journals, reports, organization’s websites, online articles, and scientific papers that are related to the study. The author uses the concept of cooperation to support the idea of cooperation between Indonesia and Australia to responding the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic. This study provides that the cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in responding the impacts of COVID-19 are divided into three sectors, namely health security, stability, and economic recovery.
