Abstract

Industri skincare mengalami pertumbuhan signifikan seiring meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kesehatan kulit. Namun, isu over-claim produk dan kurangnya transparansi informasi menimbulkan keraguan konsumen dalam memilih produk yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem rekomendasi produk skincare berbasis Android dengan menerapkan metode Hybrid Collaborative Filtering yang menggabungkan Content-Based Filtering dan Item-Based Collaborative Filtering melalui pendekatan switching. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, dan Firebase sebagai backend. Proses pengembangan mengikuti metodologi SCRUM dan melibatkan 100 produk skincare dengan data rating serta atribut pengguna yang dikumpulkan melalui scraping dan kuisioner. Pengujian dilakukan dengan evaluasi Mean Absolute Error (MAE) dan Precision, serta Blackbox Testing untuk pengujian fungsional. Hasil menunjukkan metode hybrid ini mampu menghasilkan rekomendasi yang relevan, mengatasi masalah cold-start bagi pengguna baru, dan meningkatkan akurasi rekomendasi seiring bertambahnya data pengguna. Sistem ini mencatat nilai precision sebesar 0,80 untuk metode content-based dan 0,88 untuk collaborative filtering, serta penurunan MAE dari 0,624 menjadi 0,532 dengan peningkatan jumlah user. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa integrasi metode switching hybrid dalam aplikasi mobile dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam memberikan rekomendasi personal di tengah tantangan pasar skincare digital yang dinamis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) untuk aplikasi SobatIkan berbasis Android guna menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam sektor perikanan budidaya yaitu proses pendaftaran penyuluhan dan pengumpulan laporan produksi secara manual, sistem penjualan yang masih konvensional, terbatasnya layanan pengantaran, kesulitan memperoleh pakan berkualitas, serta penanganan penyakit ikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Double Diamond yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu Discover, Define, Develop, dan Deliver. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur, yang kemudian dianalisis untuk menentukan kebutuhan. Hasil akhir berupa prototipe aplikasi diuji melalui usability testing dengan pendekatan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan desain aplikasi memiliki nilai effectiveness sebesar 90%, efficiency 81,8%, dan satisfaction dengan skor SUS 88,5 yang dikategorikan “Excellent”. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan UI/UX aplikasi SobatIkan mampu memberikan solusi digital yang efektif, efisien, dan memuaskan dalam mendukung digitalisasi sektor perikanan budidaya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan desain aplikasi perikanan budidaya berbasis pendekatan partisipatif dan berorientasi pengguna.

Abstract

Desa Tegaren adalah salah satu desa di Kabupaten Trenggalek yang berprestasi, salah satunya adalah penghargaan Adipura Desa yang diraih pada 2023 dan 2024. Namun, demografi di Tegaren semakin menua. Sedangkan mayoritas penduduk yang bekerja sebagai petani atau buruh tani juga cukup kesulitan untuk beradaptasi dengan pergerakan zaman yang lebih cepat daripada yang mereka bayangkan. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, Tegaren juga memiliki kesulitan untuk berinovasi dan meningkatkan partisipasi warganya dalam hal pengelolaan sampah desa. Untuk menjawab tantangan itu, program edukasi, simulasi, dan digitalisasi pengelolaan sampah di Tegaren telah diinisiasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan PRA, observasi, dan vestibule training, serta metode pelatihan dan pendampingan, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupaya mewujudkan konsep smart village secara perlahan ke dalam ekosistem kehidupan di Tegaren.Pelaksanaan kegiatan berfokus pada warga RT. 02, Dusun Krajan, Desa Tegaren, karena warga tersebut memiliki kesadaran dan kemauan yang lebih ketimbang di RT yang lainnya. Program ini juga memperkuat pilar smart people, smart environment, smart economic, dan smart government sebagai fondasi dari smart village. Program ini telah berhasil meningkatkan edukasi masyarakat Tegaren, terutama pengelola Bank Sampah Induk Insan Berdaya. Program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan juga semakin menguatkan predikat desa wisata di Desa Tegaren dengan mengorelasikan keberlanjutan lingkungan dengan kepariwisataan.

Abstract

The tourism industry is a key economic sector in Indonesia, with East Java ranking highest in tourist visits. This study aims to enhance tourism development by applying aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) using convolutional neural networks (CNN) to analyze online reviews. CNN was selected for this study due to its proven efficiency in capturing local n-gram features and its relatively lower computational cost compared to other deep learning model. Reviews from TripAdvisor and Google Maps were collected focusing on four aspects: attraction, amenities, access, and price. Five different models were developed in this research: one multilabel aspect classifier designed to identify multiple aspects mentioned within each review, and four sentiment classifiers focused on evaluating the sentiment polarity for each specific aspect. These models were trained and evaluated using various combinations of word embeddings, including static embeddings like Word2Vec, and contextualized embeddings such as BERT and IndoBERT. Additionally, the impact of preprocessing through stemming was investigated to understand how simplifying word forms affects model performance. Results indicate that IndoBERT-CNN attains the best overall sentiment classification, reaching F1-scores up to 0.71 for attraction and 0.93 for amenities, while Word2Vec-CNN with stemming leads multilabel classification. Meanwhile stemming improves performance for static embeddings like Word2Vec by simplifying word forms, it reduces effectiveness in transformer-based models like BERT and IndoBERT that rely on natural language context. These findings highlight the benefit of choosing appropriate embeddings and preprocessing for different tasks, thus providing practical insights for improving tourism services through better tourist reviews analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce information system for creative services at Cahaya Kreativ using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, addressing the company's lack of an integrated digital platform for managing service orders, portfolios, consultations, and online payments. The RAD method was chosen due to its emphasis on speed, prototyping, and close user collaboration—making it more suitable than traditional methods like Waterfall for projects requiring rapid development and ongoing user input in a dynamic service environment. The system was built using React.js for the frontend, Express.js for the backend, PostgreSQL as the database, Tailwind CSS for UI design, and Midtrans integration as a payment gateway. The development process included two iterations covering requirement analysis, system design (use case diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, ERD), implementation, and testing through Blackbox Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Results indicate that the system operates according to specifications and has received positive user feedback. It is expected to enhance Cahaya Kreativ’s operational efficiency, expand market reach, and improve the digital experience for customers ordering creative services online, while also supporting streamlined business processes, data consistency, and increased user engagement through responsive and interactive features. Stakeholder involvement throughout the development ensured the system closely matched real business requirements, resulting in a comprehensive digital solution that enhances customer satisfaction and operational performance through technology-driven innovation.

Abstract

Many deaf people in Indonesia use sign language as their communication medium, one of which is BISINDO (Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia). However, limited understanding of BISINDO among the general public often becomes a significant barrier to effective communication. To address this, the study aims to develop a BISINDO hand gesture detection system based on computer vision using the YOLOv8 algorithm. The method used is a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the YOLOv8 architecture, trained on a labeled dataset obtained from the Roboflow platform consisting of BISINDO alphabet gestures (A–Z). The system was developed using Python and Streamlit, providing two types of user input: real-time camera feed and manual image upload. Detected gestures are translated into text and converted into speech using the Google Text-to-Speech (gTTS) API. The model was trained over 50 epochs and evaluated using metrics including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The evaluation results show an accuracy of 89.74%, precision of 89.28%, recall of 96.15%, and F1-score of 92.16%, indicating strong model performance and generalization. Some misclassifications occurred, such as 'R' detected as 'L', and background images mistakenly classified as valid letters. Nonetheless, the system is able to detect and translate BISINDO sign language gestures in semi-realtime with high reliability. This study contributes both practically and theoretically to the field of assistive technologies by providing an accessible, web-based platform for BISINDO recognition, promoting more inclusive communication for the Indonesian deaf community.

Abstract

Diseases affecting tomato leaves can severely impact agricultural productivity, as they can reduce crop yields and quality significantly. A swift and dependable identification of these diseases is vital for ensuring prompt interventions and the successful implementation of disease control strategies. This study focus on evaluating and comparing the efficiency of three separate optimizers, such as Adam, RMSProp, and SGD on the pretrained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture DenseNet121. There has been no previous research that directly compares the performance of Adam, RMSProp, and SGD optimizers on the DenseNet121 model for classifying tomato leaf diseases using the Plant Village dataset. These optimizers are crucial in the training process by influencing the model’s ability to converge and generalize well on new, unseen data. Experimental procedures were performed using a labeled dataset of tomato leaf images, which included healthy leaves and various disease classes. Out of the three optimization techniques tested, the DenseNet121 model trained with the Adam optimizer consistently outperformed the others. It achieved the highest evaluation metrics, with an accuracy of 0.9800, precision of 0.9807, recall of 0.9800, and F1-score of 0.9800 on the test set. These outcomes suggest that the model has a strong and balanced classification performance, capable of correctly identifying disease conditions with minimal errors. Based on these findings, the DenseNet121 architecture combined with the Adam optimizer is considered the optimal model used to recognize various tomato leaf diseases in this study.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology encourages government institutions to improve the quality of public services, including the free seed distribution program by the Ministry of Forestry through the Brantas Sampean Watershed Management Agency (BPDAS Brantas Sampean). However, the seed request process at BPDAS Brantas Sampean is still conducted manually and lacks centralization, making data recording and access to seed availability information difficult. This study aims to develop a web-based Seed Request Information System (Si B-Tis) to facilitate the submission and monitoring of seed requests. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with the CodeIgniter framework. Key features of the system include request submission, seed availability information, request monitoring, and report generation. Testing was carried out using the Blackbox method to ensure that all functionalities operate as expected. Namun, proses pengajuan permohonan bibit di BPDAS Brantas Sampean masih dilakukan secara manual dan belum terpusat, sehingga menyulitkan pencatatan data serta akses informasi terkait ketersediaan bibit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun Sistem Informasi Permohonan Bibit Gratis (Si B-Tis) berbasis website guna mempermudah proses pengajuan dan pemantauan permohonan bibit. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan framework CodeIgniter. Fitur utama dalam sistem meliputi pengajuan permohonan, informasi ketersediaan bibit, monitoring permohonan, serta pencetakan laporan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Blackbox untuk memastikan bahwa seluruh fungsionalitas berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi dengan baik dan layak digunakan dalam mendukung digitalisasi layanan permohonan bibit di BPDAS Brantas Sampean.

Abstract

Bimbingan belajar MEC (Millennials Education Center) merupakan layanan bimbingan belajar yang membantu siswa untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi berbagai jenis ujian masuk, seperti perguruan tinggi, sekolah kedinasan, TNI/POLRI, dan tes CPNS. Proses administrasi manual pada bimbingan belajar MEC menimbulkan resiko kehilangan data dan ketidakefisienan dalam pengelolaan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis website dengan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Pendekatan RAD dipilih karena memungkinkan pengembangan sistem secara cepat melalui kolaborasi intensif dengan pengguna. Sistem yang dikembangkan mencakup pengelolaan data siswa, tutor, program, jadwal, dan pembayaran. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode black box testing menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai dengan harapan. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan MEC secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Currently, the development of information technology has advanced in all sectors, one of which is the education sector which plays an important role in optimizing library functions and services in educational institutions. SMA Negeri 1 Sreseh Sampang developed a library information system to increase effectiveness and accessibility in managing libraries. System development was carried out using a RAD approach, including workshops on requirements planning, design and implementation. During implementation, the system utilizes a web platform compiled with the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The results of this research show that the library information system of SMA Negeri 1 Sreseh Sampang can cover all library business needs and can be used by all library members and employees, so that information can be presented more quickly and efficiently.
