Abstract

Information technology has become a fundamental skill that is essential for the younger generation to master in order to keep up with the advancements of the times. This basic computer and Office application training aims to enhance the skills of MTs.S Annurain Tondowolio students in operating computer hardware as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications. The training was conducted by a team of lecturers and students from the Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka using a teaching method that includes theoretical explanations, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. The students were equipped with knowledge about computer hardware, including input and output devices, as well as how to use Office applications for academic and administrative purposes. Evaluation was carried out through practical tests and filling out questionnaires to assess students' understanding of the training material. The evaluation results showed that the majority of students were able to master the basic skills in using the applications taught and understood the use of computer hardware well. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this training successfully improved students' abilities in using information technology and can serve as a foundation for further skill development in the future.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the importance of wearing masks as a preventive measure. To facilitate mask detection and ensure compliance, computer vision techniques have been widely utilized. This research aims to develop a mask detection system using the YOLO (You Only Look Once) method. YOLO is a real-time object detection method that provides accurate and efficient results. The proposed system utilizes a pre-trained YOLO model trained on a dataset comprising images of individuals with and without masks. The YOLO model can detect and locate faces, as well as differentiate between individuals wearing masks and those who are not. The method works by dividing the image into a grid and predicting bounding boxes and class probabilities for each grid cell. This approach enables real-time mask detection with minimal computational overhead. Experimental evaluations were conducted using various relevant benchmark datasets. The evaluation results demonstrate that the mask detection system using the YOLO method achieves high detection rates and fast response times. This research is expected to contribute to the effort of monitoring mask usage to control the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

Sektor peternakan rakyat di Indonesia, khususnya di Desa Ranoteta saat ini menghadapi tantangan dalam manajemen kesehatan ternak karena minimnya pencatatan sistematis dan keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan melatih peternak serta aparat desa dalam penggunaan sistem pencatatan kesehatan ternak digital berbasis spreadsheet (Google Sheets). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemaparan materi, praktik langsung, diskusi interaktif, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta (80%) belum pernah menggunakan spreadsheet sebelumnya, namun 100% menyatakan antusiasme untuk belajar dan merasa terbantu dengan kemudahan akses serta sistematika pencatatan digital ini. Kendala awal seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan koneksi internet diidentifikasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa adopsi teknologi informasi sederhana dapat meningkatkan kapasitas manajemen kesehatan ternak di tingkat pedesaan. Diharapkan pelatihan ini menjadi langkah awal menuju digitalisasi peternakan rakyat yang berkelanjutan, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan ketahanan pangan
