Abstract

Air Terjun Nyarai pada tahun 2014 mulai dikembangan menjadi daerah tujuan wisata, seiring dengan boomingnya sosial media yang memberitakannya. Pada proses perkembangannya terdapat tantangan dan permasalahan, salah satunya ada pada informasi data dalam bentuk peta. Peta yang dimaksud bertujuan agar wisatawan bisa tahu dan membantu pula pengelola dalam merencanakan pengembangan Objek Daerah tujuan Wisata (ODTW) Air Terjun Nyarai ini. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan jalur dan situs/spot yang menarik di Air Terjun Nyarai. Pengabdian ini merupakan menggunakan metode partisipatif survey dengan mengedepankan diskusi dan pendekatan proses. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Panjang jalur ODTW Air Terjun Nyarai kurang lebih 5,8 Km yang dapat ditempuh berjalan kaki selama 2-3 jam. Sepanjang jalur terdapat beberapa spot/situs atraksi wisata diantaranya Camping Ground, Lubuk Ngungun, Lubuk Batu Tudung, Lubuk Sikayan Kudu, Batu Gantung, Makam PRRI, dan Air Terjun Nyarai. Pemandangan selama trekking sangat indah dan wisatawan dapat berinteraksi langsung dengan alam, bahkan bisa memberi makan ikan di sungai

Abstract

The Wonosalam District, located in Jombang Regency, East Java Province, has a history of multiple landslides in the last 5 years. This is because the district is situated in the Mount Anjasmara Area which is part of a steep mountain range, resulting in a distinct geological structure and high degree of slope. This makes the district highly susceptible to landslides, particularly due to its location. To mitigate potential losses from disasters, a mapping of the landslide risk level has been created to proactively address the issue. The landslide risk mapping is based on a geographic information system that incorporates scoring, weighting, and overlay techniques. The scoring and weighting process is in accordance with Perka BNPB No. 2 of 2012 and has been modified to suit the local conditions on the ground. The landslide disaster risk mapping produced results indicating the risk levels in 9 villages in the Wonosalam District. Out of these, Galengdowo, Distance, and Carangwulung Villages were classified as having a medium risk level, while the remaining 6 villages (Wonomerto, Sambirejo, Wonosalam, Panglungan, Wonokerto, and Sumberjo) were considered to have a low risk level. Kecamatan Wonosalam yang terletak di Kabupaten Jombang, Provinsi Jawa Timur, memiliki sejarah longsor dalam 5 tahun terakhir. Hal ini karena kabupaten ini terletak di Kawasan Gunung Anjasmara yang merupakan bagian dari rangkaian pegunungan yang terjal, sehingga menghasilkan struktur geologi yang khas dan kemiringan lereng yang tinggi. Hal ini membuat kabupaten ini sangat rentan terhadap tanah longsor, terutama karena lokasinya. Untuk memitigasi potensi kerugian akibat bencana, pemetaan tingkat risiko tanah longsor telah dibuat untuk secara proaktif mengatasi masalah tersebut. Pemetaan resiko tanah longsor didasarkan pada sistem data geografis yang mencampurkan metode skoring, pembobotan, serta overlay. Proses kajian serta pembobotan cocok dengan Perka BNPB Nomor. 2 Tahun 2012, serta sudah dimodifikasi cocok dengan keadaan setempat di lapangan. Pemetaan risiko bencana tanah longsor menghasilkan tingkat risiko di 9 desa di Kecamatan Wonosalam. Dari jumlah tersebut, Desa Galengdowo, Jarak, dan Carangwulung tergolong memiliki tingkat risiko sedang, sedangkan 6 desa lainnya (Wonomerto, Sambirejo, Wonosalam, Panglungan, Wonokerto, dan Sumberjo) tergolong memiliki tingkat risiko rendah.

Abstract

Relevant media is needed to support the achievement of indicators in the learning process. The purpose of making the Geo-Augmented Reality SOP module is that schools will be skilled in using and utilizing Geo-AR media in geography learning. This Geo-AR media really helps students and teachers to understand teaching material better and it is hoped that making modules in the use of Geo-AR can make it easier for Geo-AR media users. So, it is necessary to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) based on 4D development that support learning. The aspect of internalizing understanding of material and values ​​will increase as the Geo-AR media used can be felt and used by students in 4 Dimensional form. Devotion in the form of developing SOP Geo-AR is used to make it easier to prepare learning designs that can provide an overview of field conditions in real time. Making this media-based learning module is urgently needed to achieve indicators of achievement in the geography learning process that has been designed. The results of this development are module products, training and socialization to community service partner schools.

Abstract

This research to determine the number of burly and determine the characteristics of igneous rocks in Bukit Cula. The research method used is descriptive quantitative survey. This research was conducted by using a tool that is a geological compass to determine the direction of the stocky and determine the process of sedimentary rock sampling and igneous description of rocks by megascopically. The results of this study obtained several strike-dip values. The strike-dip data is then processed using DIPS software to produce the Rosette Diagram. DIPS is used to analyze the direction of orientation of geological data that is muscular. In the results of observations made, there were 24 muscular burles. Based on strike-dip measurements on Mount Bukitcula it has a horizontal fault. The igneous rock found in Bukitcula Mountain is a type of andesite igneous rock

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of class X students at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab towards Geospatial Technology Applications. Geospatial technology is a technology that measures, analyzes, and visualizes objects or events on earth. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The selection of subjects in this study used a total random sampling method consisting of 255 class X students. The research data were collected using a semi-open questionnaire method with a google form consisting of 25 questions given the answer options yes, no, and others. The results showed that there were 68.41% of students answered yes with the Good category, on the indicator of using geospatial technology applications as learning media. There were 64.61% of students answered yes with the Good category, on the indicator of the use of geospatial technology as learning material. And there are 70.44% of students answered yes with the Good category, on the indicator of the use of geospatial applications in everyday life. From the perception of students, there are still many students who do not know and use geospatial technology applications. Based on observations made at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab, it appears that geography teachers have not utilized this geospatial technology application-based learning media.

Abstract

Kecerdasan spasial, juga dikenal sebagai kecerdasan spasial visual atau penalaran spasial adalah kemampuan untuk membayangkan atau memvisualisasikan dalam pikiran seseorang posisi objek, bentuknya, hubungan spasialnya satu sama lain, dan gerakan yang dibuat untuk membentuk hubungan spasial baru. Ini adalah kemampuan untuk melakukan visualisasi spasial dan penalaran spasial di dalam pikiran seseorang. Kemampuan ini sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang kemampuan anak dalam memahami lingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan penggunaan Geo-Augmented Reality (Geo-AR) bagi guru Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) Pembangunan Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Pemilihan sekolah dikarenakan kemudahan akses bagi tim pengabdian dan kemudahan koordinasi karena masih berada dalam lingkungan kampus UNP. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan berupa ceramah untuk konsep dan berupa praktik penggunaan Geo-AR bagi guru dan siswa TK. Diharapkan Guru terampil dalam penggunaan Geo-AR ini karena Geo-AR diberikan kepada sekolah TK Pembangunan UNP untuk digunakan secara mandiri selepas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat oleh tim selesai. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru menjadi sangat terbantu dalam penyampaian materi mengenai bentang lahan atau topografi yang mendukung kecerdasan spasial siswa TK. Di samping itu, siswa TK sangat antusias karena Geo-AR memanfaatkan media pasir dalam memvisualisasikan bentang lahan yang diarahkan oleh guru. Secara lebih luas tidak menutup kemungkinan program ini juga dikenalkan kepada sekolah TK di Kota Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the perceptions of 2024 geography education students regarding the use of virtual rock microscope learning media in the general geology course based on 6 indicators of student perceptions towards the use of virtual rock microscope. This research is a descriptive quantitative study conducted in the city of Padang with a research sample consisting of 2 classes from the 2024 batch of the Geography Education Study Program, totaling 41 students. The sampling technique in this study used the purposive sampling method. The research results show that 1) the use of a virtual rock microscope in general geology learning meets the good criteria at 86%, 2) the media used clarifies students' understanding of the material presented at 84% good criteria, 3) it provides feedback that is meaningful for students and lecturers during the learning process through the virtual rock microscope at 85% good criteria, 4) it identifies the effectiveness of access and the use of features available in the virtual rock microscope at 85% good criteria, 5) difficulties when using the virtual rock microscope meet the good/no difficulty criteria at 81%, 6) obstacles when using the virtual rock microscope meet the good/no obstacles criteria at 81%. The conclusion of students' perceptions regarding the use of virtual rock microscopes as a learning medium for rock material in the general geology course overall falls into the good or positive category.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an important skill in learning Geography that requires analysis of spatial and regional phenomena. However, many students have difficulty in developing these skills due to learning methods that do not involve them actively. This study aims to analyze the effect of Discovery Learning model based on Liveworksheets on critical thinking skills of students in class 10 phase E at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This study used a quantitative approach with pre-experiment method and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample was all students of class 10 Phase E 3 which amounted to 36 people, with saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was 10 essay questions based on Ennis' critical thinking indicators. The results showed an increase in the average score from the pretest of 13.28 to 24.67 on the posttest, with a difference of 11.39 points. The paired sample t-test showed significance <0.001, and the effect size value of Cohen's d was 2.841 which was classified as very high. The N-Gain of 0.4268 showed a moderate increase. Thus, the Discovery Learning model based on Liveworksheets proved effective in significantly improving students' critical thinking skills.
