Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to analyze the effect of parental involvement and learning independence on student learning outcomes. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were X and XI grade students of Khadijah Surabaya High School as many as 158 students who were taken as samples using proportionate stratified random sampling method. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using WarpPLS software. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of parental involvement on learning outcomes, learning independence has no effect on learning outcomes, parental involvement affects learning independence, learning independence does not mediate the effect of parental involvement on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students on the material price index and inflation. This is due to a lack of understanding of the material and the limitations of the learning media used for the learning delivery process. So this development research aims to find out how Android-based interactive media can improve student learning outcomes. This R&D research uses the thiagarajan model known as 4D namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this research were students of class XI IPS 2 at SMAN 15 Surabaya, which consisted of 34 students. Android-based interactive media obtained a material validity feasibility value of 97% and media experts 95%, namely with a very feasible interpretation. Meanwhile, the students' responses obtained a score of 96% with a very proper interpretation. In measuring the increase in learning outcomes carried out by the N-Gain test which obtained a result of 0.69 which is included in the medium category. Therefore it can be seen that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. This increase occurred because the presentation of media designs that were developed was attractive and fun, supplemented by animated video illustrations of material, supplemented by learning evaluations with multilevel methods, ease of operation and flexible use of media, and media designed interactively to increase student motivation in obtaining better learning outcomes. better. So the conclusion that is obtained is that Android-based interactive media is recommended for use in the learning process and is able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of academic self-efficacy and peer on economic learning outcomes through self-regulated learning as a mediating variable. The type of research used is causal associative with a quantitative approach. A total of 137 students in classes X and XI of SMA Ta'miriyah Surabaya were the samples in this research. Data was obtained from the results of questionnaires and students' daily summative economic scores. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS software. The research results show that directly, academic self-efficacy has a significant and positive effect on economic learning outcomes, academic self-efficacy has a significant and positive effect on self-regulated learning, self-regulated learning has a significant and positive effect on economic learning outcomes, peers have a significant and positive effect on economic learning outcomes, and peers have a significant and positive effect on self-regulated learning. Other findings show that indirectly, academic self-efficacy has a significant and positive influence on economic learning outcomes through self-regulated learning, and peers have a significant and positive influence on economic learning outcomes through self-regulated learning.

Abstract

Kebijakan pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring selama pandemic Covid-19 memaksa guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar.  Akan tetapi, masih banyak guru yang mengalami kesulitan, terutama dalam menyiapkan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis web yang mudah di akses oleh siswa. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam pembuatan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis web (google sites). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan secara langsung dalam pembuatan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis web. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 40 guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP Akuntansi Provinsi Jawa Timur selama dua hari dengan format daring dan luring. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dari peserta pelatihan. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi juga menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu secara efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan google sites sebagai media pembuatan bahan ajar interaktif. Kata kunci—Pelatihan, Media interaktif berbasis web, Google sites, Guru. Abstract The online learning policy during the covid-19 pandemic forced teachers to use technology in teaching and learning activities. However, many teachers face challenges, such as preparing interactive web-based teaching materials. This training aims to improve teachers’ knowledge and skills in making interactive web-based teaching materials using google-sites. The methods are socialization, training, and direct assistance in preparing web-based interactive teaching materials. This training was carried out on 40 teachers, members of the accounting teachers association (MGMP) in East Java Province, for two days with online and offline formats. This training received a positive response from the participants. In addition, the results show the training improved teachers’ knowledge and skills in utilizing google sites as an interactive teaching material effectively. Keywords—Training, Interactive media, Web-based, Google-sites, Teacher.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low psychological problem-solving skills of students towards economics subjects in class X of SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya which are influenced by factors of academic self-efficacy, self-regulation, and critical thinking disposition. This study aims to analyze the effect of academic effectiveness on the problem-solving skills of class X students in economics subjects both directly and through self-regulation and critical thinking disposition. The approach in this study is quantitative research with a causal associative method. The population in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya with a sample of 191 students. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that had been adapted and had been tested for validity and reliability through IBM SPSS 2.0. The data analysis technique in this study used the Structural Equation Model (SEM)-Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS 3.0 software which includes model specifications, outer models and inner models. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between academic self-efficacy on students' problem-solving skills, and there is a positive and significant influence between academic self-efficacy on students' problem-solving skills through self-regulation and critical thinking dispositions.

Abstract

Good learning outcomes enable students to develop important skills and knowledge in various fields with learning motivation having a very important role in the learning process, with high motivation it can help students to achieve achievement and With good learning motivation, students will reduce the habit of using smartphones excessively. This research aims to determine the relationship between problematic smartphone use and learning outcomes directly and indirectly through learning motivation. This research uses a quantitative approach, with an ex post facto type of research. The research sample was 288 students at SMA Al-Islam 1 Krian, using random sampling techniques. The measuring instruments used are the SAS-SV scale (10 items), and the SOS scale (10 items). The data analysis used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) equation model in Smart-PLS 4 software. Statistical test results. The results of this research show that: PSU has no significant effect on learning outcomes, PSU has a significant effect on motivation learning, learning motivation does not have a significant effect on learning outcomes, and learning motivation cannot mediate the influence of PSU on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penulisan artikel ilmiah pada guru Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Ekonomi di Kota Surabaya melalui program pelatihan dan lokakarya. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi adanya kewajiban guru untuk mempublikasikan karya ilmiah sebagai bagian dari pengembangan profesionalisme mereka, sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Nomor 16 Tahun 2009. Namun, banyak guru menghadapi kesulitan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah karena keterbatasan waktu dan kurangnya keterampilan penulisan akademik. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dirancang untuk membantu guru mengatasi tantangan tersebut dengan memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang metode penulisan akademik, penggunaan teknologi dalam penulisan ilmiah, dan proses pengiriman manuskrip melalui Online Journal System (OJS) yang disediakan oleh penerbit jurnal terpercaya untuk menghindari penerbit predator. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka selama 8 jam dan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan online selama satu minggu melalui grup WhatsApp. Materi pelatihan disampaikan oleh empat narasumber yang berpengalaman dalam publikasi artikel ilmiah, mencakup tiga topik utama: penyusunan manuskrip, penggunaan aplikasi menejer referensi Mendeley, dan prosedur pengiriman manuskrip ke jurnal tujuan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, mengelola referensi, dan mengunggah manuskrip ke jurnal bereputasi. Program ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru dan mendukung pengembangan karir mereka.

Abstract

. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a pivotal role in driving economic growth, innovation, and employment creation, especially in developing countries. This study employs a bibliometric approach to analyze trends, themes, and scholarly contributions to SME research in these regions over the past five years (2020–2024). Drawing on 485 publications from the Scopus database, the analysis reveals significant trends in scholarly output, key citation metrics, influential authors, and emerging research topics. The findings indicate a steady growth in scholarly interest, with the highest publication output observed in 2022. Research topics such as entrepreneurship, digital transformation, green innovation, and financial management are prominent, reflecting their critical importance to SME development. Additionally, sustainability and Industry 4.0-related themes are identified as having high citation impact, underscoring their relevance to contemporary challenges and opportunities for SMEs. China, the United Kingdom, and India are the leading contributors to the field, with substantial contributions from emerging economies such as Malaysia and Indonesia. This study contributes to the understanding of SME research dynamics by highlighting key areas of focus, identifying influential contributions, and mapping the global landscape of SME scholarship. By providing insights into recent trends and thematic priorities, the study offers practical implications for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners seeking to enhance the resilience, innovation, and sustainability of SMEs in developing countries. The findings underscore the need for targeted strategies and collaborative efforts to address emerging challenges and foster inclusive economic growth through SME development.

Abstract

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education, through circular letter number 4 of 2020, notifies that the learning process is carried out from home through online learning. The time allocation carried out in online learning during the pandemic is shorter than the previous conventional learning. In the learning process, academic self-efficacy is very important. Through clear goals and self-confidence, academic self-efficacy can determine the success of academic behavior in the future. This article describes the research results on the effect of student self-efficacy on student learning outcomes in class X IPS SMAN 1 Sidoarjo on economics subjects in online learning. This type of research is explanatory and uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 109 students of class X Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. In comparison, the sample in this study was 85 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, which includes prerequisite analysis tests (normality test and linearity test) and simple regression analysis. This study indicates that the self-efficacy of class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Sidoarjo does not affect economic learning outcomes in online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of developing electronic textbooks for accounting learning evaluation courses to improve the quality of learning in accounting education study programs. The study followed Research and Development (R & D) with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The students of the accounting education program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya were involved in this research. The findings indicated that electronic textbooks for accounting learning obtained very good responses with very appropriate interpretation criteria according to students’ needs. For this matter, this product is expected to be an alternative teaching material for students to enhance material understanding, learning independence, and learning motivation in the online course process of accounting learning evaluation
