Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan layanan pembimbingan berbasis pendidikan karakter untuk mencegah kecenderungan penyalahgunaan narkoba di SMA Negeri 1 Barru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen model pre-test post-test one group design yaitu eksperimen yang dilakukan pada satu kelompok tanpa kelompok pembanding. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru berjumlah 1.048, dengan sampel sebanyak 5 orang. Pada penelitian ini ternyata nilai pretes sebelum perkaluan berada pada kategori tinggi dan sedang, dan setelah perlakuan nilai postes menjadi kategori sangat tinggi, dan pada uji hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruhnyamaka dapat diketahui bahwa: 2,776< t0 6,4 yang berarti karena t0 lebih besar daripada ttabel maka hipotesis nihil (H0) ditolak ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan layanan Pembimbingan berbasis pendidikan karakter untuk mencegah kecenderungan penyalahgunaan narkoba di SMA Negeri 1 Barru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan Pembimbingan berbasis pendidikan karakter dalam mengatasi penyalahgunaan narkoba siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Barru. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada uji hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa: ttabel 2,776< t0 6,4, serta kategori pemahaman siswa sebelum perlakukan brada pada kategori sedang, dan setelah perlakuan berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Hypnoteaching method in improving the reading comprehension of second-grade students at SMA Modern IMMIM Putra Makassar, and identify which level of reading comprehension is most affected by this method, including literal, inferential, and critical comprehension. A quasi-experimental design was applied in this research. The participants were second-grade students of SMA IMMIM Putra Makassar, divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 30 students. Data were collected through reading comprehension tests. The results revealed that the mean posttest score of the experimental group 66.04 was higher than that of the control group 53.16. All three levels of reading comprehension improved significantly, as evidenced by the comparison of pretest and posttest mean scores. The largest improvement was observed in literal comprehension 87.66 > 44.00, followed by critical comprehension 59.66 > 54.00 and inferential comprehension 58.00 > 56.33. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the Hypnoteaching method is more effective than conventional teaching methods in improving the reading comprehension of second-grade students at SMA IMMIM Putra Makassar.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV. Persoalan di penelitian ini ialah bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Word square mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa Kelas IV UPTD SDN 1 Parepare. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berfungsi mengkaji proses dan hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Word square demi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada bidang studi Pendidikan Pancasila Kelas IV. Pendekatan yang dipakai di penelitian ini yakni pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai ialah observasi, tes, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dipakai ialah kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini melibatkan satu orang guru kelas dan 17 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan. Penelitian ini melibatkan III siklus, yang tiap tahapan siklus mencakup satu kali perhasil. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa di siklus I proses pembelajaran berada di kategori cukup (C), sedangkan hasil belajar siswa terdapat di klasifikasi Kurang (K). Hasil penelitian siklus II mengenai proses pembelajaran dikategorikan baik (B), sedangkan hasil belajar siswa dikategorikan Cukup (C). Pada siklus III hasil penelitian menunjukkan bila proses pembelajaran mendapat nilai baik (B) dan hasil belajar siswa termasuk di kategori Baik (B). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Word square bisa meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila pada siswa Kelas IV di UPTD SDN 1 Parepare.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 73 Parepare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 21 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus, pada siklus I hasil penelitian pada proses pembelajaran berada pada kategori cukup (C) dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa berada pada kategori cukup (C) dengan persentase ketuntasan 65% (C). Siklus II hasil penelitian pada proses pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik (B) dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa berada pada kategori baik (B) dengan persentase ketuntasan 85%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dapat meningkatkan proses belajar dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 73 Parepare.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar matematika siswa dan pengaruh model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament berbantuan permainan monopoli terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 83 Parepare. Pendekan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pra-eksperimental dalam bentuk Pretest-Posttest One Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa UPTD SD Negeri 83 Parepare, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas V. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberika angket motivasi belajar matematika. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan uji Paired Sample T-Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 ≤ 0,05, sehingga  ditolak dan  diterima. Dengan demikian, simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan berbentuk penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament berbantuan permainan monopoli di kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 83 Parepare.

Abstract

Abstract: The research is a Classroom Action Research with qualitative research.  The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together assisted by animated video media can improve the quality of the learning process and the participation of students in class IV SD Negeri 018 Manding. The research subjects consisted of 1 teacher and 26 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 018 Manding. Data were colected through observation and documentation techniques. The research method is data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research in cycle 1 teacher activity was in the sufficient category (C) with a percentage of 75% and increased in cycle 2 to a good category (B) with a percentage of 91.66%. Student activity in cycle 1 was in the sufficient category (C) with a percentage of 69%, increasing in cycle 2 to a good category (B) with a percentage of 89%. Learner participation in cycle 1 reached sufficient qualification (C) with a percentage of 61%. In cycle 2, learner participation reached good qualification (B) with a percentage of 80%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Numbered Head Together learning model is effective in improving the quality of the learning process and the participation of fourth grade students of SD Negeri018 Manding.

Abstract

This study investigated the effectiveness of using the VOA Learning English website as a digital learning tool to enhance the English listening proficiency of X-year students at SMK Negeri 1 Barru. By comparing the performance of students who used the VOA Learning English website with those who rely on traditional methods, A quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of the VOA Learning English website in enhancing the English listening skills of X-year students at SMK Negeri 1 Barru. The study demonstrated that the use of VOA Learning English significantly enhanced students'' listening skills. The experimental group's post-test scores increased from an average of 54.20 to 86.70, while the control group's scores showed a less significant improvement. The significant improvement observed in the experimental group, as compared to the control group, highlights the potential of digital learning tools in transforming language education.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia remains a major challenge, with school leadership playing a crucial role in determining educational success. This study explores the personality profiles of effective school principals in junior high schools in South Sulawesi based on teachers’ perspectives. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through teacher evaluations to identify key personality dimensions such as extraversion, agreeableness, emotional stability, and openness. The findings reveal that agreeableness, emotional stability, and openness are the most dominant traits associated with effective principals. Principals who are open to new ideas, emotionally balanced, and empathetic toward teachers are perceived to create positive school climates and enhance teacher motivation. These results suggest that personality characteristics significantly influence leadership effectiveness and school performance. The study recommends that personality assessment be integrated into principal recruitment and professional development to improve leadership quality and educational outcomes in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain answers to the research question: What is the nutritional status of students at Junior High School 3 Belawa Wajo, Regency. This research is descriptive in nature with a single (independent) variable. The study population consisted of 81 female students of Junior high School 3 Belawa Wajo, class IX, in 2024. The research sample comprised 30 students selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis (percentage) employing the SPSS Version 18.00 software. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the nutritional status of the female students in class IX Junior High school 3 Belawa Wajo in 2024 varied according to the following classification: Low = 14 students (48%), Ideal = 14 students (45.33%), and Overweight = 2 students (6.67%). The mean value was 17.4317, with a standard deviation of 2.,6521 variance of 8.765, range of 12.16, minimum value of 13, 78, and maximum value of 24.72. Therefore, it can be concluded that the nutritional status of the female students in class IX at Junior High School 3 belawa , Wajo in 2024 was predominantly in the Low Body category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the ability to write student poetry and the effect of the Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the ability to write poetry of class V UPTD SD Negeri 39 Parepare students. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a type of pre-experimental research in the form of Pretest-Posttest One Group Only design. The population in this study were all UPTD SD Negeri 39 Parepare students, while the samples were fifth grade students. The research data was obtained by giving a poetry writing test. The data analysis technique is the Paired sample t-test. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis showed Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05, so H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the value of students' poetry writing ability before and after being given teaching in the form of Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning models in class V UPTD SD Negeri 39 Parepare.
