Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of empowering leadership on innovative work behavior with self-efficacy as a mediating variable and clarity of role as moderator at PT. XYZ. PT. XYZ is a food and beverage plastic packaging product manufacturing company located in Krian, Sidoarjo, East Java. The population and sample in this study were PT. XYZ’s 102 permanent employees consists of 5 employees in the Marketing Department, 41 employees in the R&D Department, and 56 employees in the Production Department. Sampling in this study by conducting a census that took the entire population. This research measurement technique uses Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) software version 3.0. The results of this study indicate that empowering leadership has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior, empowering leadership has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior, role clarity positively and significantly moderates the effect of empowering leadership on self-efficacy, and self-efficacy can mediate positively and significantly the effect of empowering leadership on innovative work behavior.

Abstract

Work Engagement is currently needed by organizations in dealing with all the changes that are so fast. The increase in the number of female workers, especially those with mother status, is also an organizational challenge in managing the WFC that occurs. Organizations must support the creation of employee resilience which is expected to be able to maintain the Work Engagement of employees who experience WFC. This research was conducted to find out how the influence of Work-family conflict on Work Engagement is mediated by Employee Resilience. The research respondents were 491 BPS female employees in East Java. This study used a purposive sampling method, with a representative sample of 194 employees. In this research, collecting data used a Google Form questionnaire which was distributed via e-mail and private networks. Data processing using SEM-PLS with Smart PLS 3.2.9. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it is known that Employee Resilience mediates the relationship between Work-Family conflict and Work Engagement. A working mother who has self-toughness will be able to suppress the WFC that occurs to stay engaged at work. Keywords: WFC, Work Engagement, Employee Resilience

Abstract

Kreativitas karyawan merupakan salah satu pondasi utama bagi pertumbuhan organisasi termasuk organisasi pemerintah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan (1) menguji pengaruh penyembunyian pengetahuan terhadap kreativitas karyawan dan (2) menguji mediasi kecemburuan jinak pada pengaruh penyembunyian pengetahuan terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu organisasi pemerintah yang berada di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 414 karyawan dengan jabatan fungsional tertentu. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sejumlah 191 responden yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa penyembunyian pengetahuan berpengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Penyembunyian pengetahuan perpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan tambahan pengetahuan bahwa kecemburuan jinak memediasi pengaruh antara penyembunyian pengetahuan terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Abstract

Nurses play a crucial role in the internal operations of the hospital, offering patients care, attention, assistance, and support. One of the most crucial things for hospitals to pay attention to is working hours since, if neglected, it will lead to nurses feeling under pressure at work, making it difficult for them to spend time with their families. If the two issues are properly handled, the employment attachment of nurses may also decline. This type of research method uses the quantitative explanation research method as a causal approach to the influence of work overload and work-family conflict on job embeddedness, with emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable and coworker support as a moderation variable in nurses at Islam PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Tegal Regency. 96 inpatient nurses who responded to a questionnaire made up the study sample. SEM was used as the approach for data analysis in this investigation. According to the findings of this study, work stress and work-family conflict considerably impact emotional exhaustion. Furthermore, work overload, work-family conflict, and emotional exhaustion have no significant effect on job embeddedness. Additionally, the association between work overload and work-family conflict and job embeddedness is unaffected by emotional exhaustion as a mediator and co-worker support as a moderation variable.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the impact of (X1: Brand Experience) and (X2: Brand Personality) on (Y: Customer Loyalty). The sample consists of fifty respondents, and a Likert scale is used to measure the data quantitatively. This study used primary data obtained via online questionnaire responses, and conducted tests to assess validity, reliability, and hypotheses. The inquiry findings suggest that these factors, together with their interaction, have a significant and favorable impact on consumer loyalty. The t-test revealed that the significance value (sig) was below 0.05, indicating statistical significance. Additionally, the F-test showed that the calculated F-value exceeded the crucial F-value of 3.19. These data indicate that consumer loyalty (Y) is favorably and substantially affected by both brand experience (X1) and brand personality (X2).

Abstract

This study aims to assess and evaluate the important role of hospital organization in nursing respondents. Nurses are professional workers who play an important role in hospital organizations and are directly related to human services in creating services, attention, assistance, assistance, and support for patients effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect of work demand on burnout and the indirect effect of work demand on burnout through mediation, namely work home interference on female nurses with dual roles at the Covid-19 Patient Referral Hospital, Jasa Kartini Hospital, Tasikmalaya. This study used a sample of 120 respondents of Dual Role Nurses at the Covid-19 Patient Referral Hospital by using quantitative research types and questionnaire methods. This study uses data analysis techniques with the method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis methodologically with AMOSGraphich. In this study, it was obtained from the distribution of online questionnaires to dual-role nurses at the Covid-19 Patient Referral Hospital, Jasa Kartini Hospital, Tasikmalaya. The results show that work demand has a positive and significant effect on burnout directly and indirectly through work home interference mediation.

Abstract

Work as a calling didefinisikan sebagai pencarian makna di tempat kerja dimana sumber motivasi utama bukanlah sesuatu yang ada diluar pekerjaan, seperti imbalan maupun kenaikan pangkat, melainkan pekerjaan itu sendiri telah mendapatkan makna baru pekerjaannya. Pada penelitian ini, kerangka hipotesis dibuat untuk mengetahui hubungan work as a calling, work engagement, dan safety performance pada online driver di Indonesia. Total sampel yaitu 457 online driver. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work as a calling berpengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap safety performance pada online driver.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic situation is a challenge for most aspects of an organization or company. The same is the case with companies that oversee port affairs, which are an important means in the activities of sea transportation services. PT. Terminal Teluk Lamong is a subsidiary of 3rd Regional PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia. Utilization of information and communication technology, is an effort to accelerate the company in responding to community needs. In addition, aspects of human resources are not spared from this study. Leadership is one of the benchmarks for the success of a company. Even so, the relationship between leaders and employees is a form of true success. Empowering leaders are able to encourage employees to think actively and creatively in solving company problems. This research aims to determine the influence of empowering leadership behavior, creative self-efficacy, motivation to learn, trust in leaders, and employee creativity of PT. Terminal Teluk Lamong. This study uses quantitative methods through a questionnaire survey on 100 organic employees of PT. Teluk Lamong Terminal which is 26-40 years old. The data obtained were tested through the SmartPLS 3 statistical test tool. The variable of empowering leadership behavior is the independent variable, the variable of motivation to learn and creative self-efficacy is the intervention variable, and the variable of trust in the leader is the moderating variable. The findings of this study indicate that empowering leaders have a positive and significant impact on employee creativity. Furthermore, learning motivation and self-creative efficacy also partially mediate the influence of empowering leader behavior on employee creativity. Finally, the variable trust in the leader is able to accelerate the creative process of employees at work. Keywords:Leadership, Self-Efficacy, Employee Creativity, Trust.

Abstract

Isu mengenai rendahnya tingkat engagement karyawan terhadap perusahaan menjadi landasan dalam penelitian ini. Keadaan yang dibuktikan dengan masih banyaknya karyawan yang tidak ingin dirinya ikut berperan serta lebih jauh dengan perusahaan. Padahal, modal manusia dianggap sebagai aset paling berharga diantara sumber daya perusahaan lainnya, karena manusia memainkan peran vital dalam mencapai objektif perusahaan ketika ditangani dengan sukses. Sehingga tantangan perusahaan saat ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan perilaku engagement karyawannya dengan memikirkan upaya-upaya yang dapat memastikan karyawannya engaged ke perusahaan. Riset ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh employer branding terhadap employee engagement melalui person-organization fit dan organizational trust. Strucutral Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) diaplikasikan sebagai alat analisis untuk menguji data survey pada 50 karyawan tetap back office di PT. Bank X Surabaya. Penelitian memberikan hasil bahwa employer branding memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap employee engagement di PT. Bank X Surabaya. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa person-organization fit dan organizational trust memiliki peran yang vital dalam membentuk employee engagement.

Abstract

Karyawan generasi milenial saat ini telah mulai mendominasi angkatan kerja dan keberadaannya memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap berbagai sektor termasuk sektor kepelabuhan. Karyawan generasi milenial dituntut menilai secara internal dirinya dengan menggunakan strategi self-leadership dan secara eksternal menilai pemimpinnya dengan menggunakan karakteristik transformational leadership mengingat pemimpin memiliki peran penting sebagai mentor karyawan sehingga akan mempengaruhi work engagement karyawan. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang dua perspektif kepemimpinan, yaitu self-leadership dan transformational leadership. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui pengaruh self-leadership dan transformational leadership menurut karyawan generasi milenial terhadap work engagement mereka melalui psychological capital dengan responden karyawan generasi milenial sebanyak 114 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif survey dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Partial Least Squares (PLS) sebagai teknik analisis dengan software SmartPLS. Hasilnya menunjukkan self-leadership dan transformational leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement menurut karyawan generasi milenial yang dimediasi oleh psychological capital secara partial mediation di sektor kepelabuhan.
