Abstract

This study aims to know the process and result in developing interactive PowerPoint media to teach reading. The problems of this study are that the teacher has difficulty identifying students' weaknesses, sometimes still lacks ideas, and does not have enough time to develop interactive learning media. Then students are quickly bored in learning. Therefore, the researcher concluded that interactive PowerPoint media could attract students' learning interest in reading. The researcher developed it and offered it as a learning medium at MTs Ma'arif NU Gandusari. The subjects were class VIIIa students consisting of 23 students. This study was research and development, and the method used the R&D method developed by Borg and Gall, and there are ten steps. However, due to the pandemic, limited time, and opportunities from school, it was only a one-time trial; the researcher simplified it to eight-step. Validation result: The validator media expert obtained 82.5%, and the material expert obtained a percentage of 90%. Assessment by student satisfaction response obtained a percentage of 93%. From the results of the media and material expert validation questionnaire and student response questionnaires, interactive PowerPoint media has a validity that is included in the very decent category for use.

Abstract

This research aimed, describe the process and result of developing picture series in recount text for 8th grade students of MTs. Darul Huda Wlingi. Writing is the basic skills for students. Generally teachers teach recount text material in school based on books, students felt bored and look monotonous. Students need learning media that interesting and easy to understand. This research was conducted developing picture series media in recount text. The object is eighteen  students of class 8th. This research method using the Dick and Carry, The researcher was made instrument need analysis questionnaire, validation questionnaire were conducted media expert, material expert, and students responds. Based on the result above obtained media expert was 82,5%, material expert was  88% and students responds was 82%. The result of media expert, material expert and student responses that developing picture series in recount text has a feasible of validity could be used.

Abstract

Dari pengamatan yang telah dilakukan ditemui bahwa mahasiswa masih kesulitan berbicara Bahasa inggris sesuai dengan kebutuhan bagi peserta didik dan dalam konteks lingkungan kerja. English Specific Purpose sebagai promosi pariwisata di Blitar dimana Blitar memiliki banyak potensi pariwisata yang perlu disikapi dengan cermat dengan menyiapkan SDM yang mumpuni untuk pengelolaannya. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan Desain Research. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan produk mata kuliah English Specific Purpose. Adapun produk berupa bahan ajar English specific purpose for English Tourism yang diajarkan untuk semester 6 mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris tahun akademik 2021/2022. Sedangkan model Penelitian ini adalah Model Plomp, yang menggunakan tahapan berupa Preliminary Research, Development or Prototyping Phase dan Assesment Phase. Untuk melihat layak dan tidaknya produk peneliti menggunakna validator untuk memvalidasi produk. Validator diantaranya adalah validator instrument, materi dan media. Dari hasil validasi yang telah dilakukan ahli diperoleh rerata tingkat kevalidan sebesar 87,50%.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SDI Wildan Mukholadun bahwa ada siswa dalam pembelajaran literasi dalam mengembangkan paragraph sederhana masih merasa sulit, selain itu dalam mengembangkan literasi seperti halnya mengarang dalam pelajaran tematik nilai siswa juga masih belum maksimal. Rumusan masalah di penelitian ini adalah: Apakah pengembangan big book dengan model TPACK dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi menulis anak SD di SDI Wildan Mukholadun? Penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu memberikan solusi bagaimana memecahkan masalah yang terjadi dengan cara mengembangkan big book dengan model TPACK anak SD di SDI Wildan Mukholadun Desa Kemloko Kecamatan Nglegok Kabupaten Blitar, yang sesuai dengan kondisi saat ini. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadopsi model Borg and Gall dengan tahapan yang terdiri dari: (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, (2 perencanaan, (3) pengembangan formulir pendahuluan, (4) pengujian pendahuluan, (5) utama revisi produk, (6) uji coba lapangan utama, (7) revisi produk operasional, (8) uji lapangan operasional, (9) revisi produk akhir, (10) mendesiminasikan produk. Subjek uji lapangan pendahuluan adalah kelas 4, 5 dan 6 dengan menggunakan metode random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik interview yang dilakukan setelah proses observasi pembelajaran kelas selama kurun waktu 3 bulan pembelajaran kelas. Melakukan wawancara untuk proses mengumpulkan data, validasi produk, observasi serta angket. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan produk pengembangan big book dengan model TPACK yang sudah teruji dan divalidasi oleh 3 ahli bidang yaitu: 1) Reditya Wempi Ansori, M.Pd ahli instrumen, 2) Abd. Charis Fauzan, M.Kom, ahli media, dan 3) Indah Yulianti, S.Pd, ahli materi. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa pengembangan big book dengan model TPACK untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa SD diperoleh tingkat kevalidan sangat baik dengan score 97%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement in second semester students of the English Education Study Program at Nahdlatul Ulama University of Blitar.  The design of this research is correlational quantitative. Interviews, documentation, and questionnaires were used to gather the data. The results of the validity analysis showed that as many as 25 questions were declared valid without exception, while the degree of validity ranged from 0.404 to 0.771.  The reliability results show a coefficient of 0.915 and it is declared reliable.  Chi-Square test and an analogous Fisher Exact test are used in data analysis. Of the 31 respondents, there were 17 students with high motivation (54.8%) and 14 students (45.2%) with low motivation.  Students with cum laude GPA as many as 24 respondents (77.4%) and very satisfactory GPA as many as 7 students (22.6%).  The outcome of the statistical test has a p-value of 1,000 (p > 0.05). This indicates that there is no relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement among second semester English Education Study Program students at Nahdlatul Ulama University of Blitar.

Abstract

In reality the profile of the Pancasila youth is still not maximally achieved. Based on data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission, in 2020 the number of children victims of violence in schools (bullying) increased to 76 students from 46 students in the previous year. One of the legendary novels that holds a lot of values is the novel entitled Burlian by Tere Liye. This novel contains educational aspects that are relevant to everyday life. This study is to identify the character values in independent learning curriculum of profile of Pancasila students that can be implemented to build students’ character in the novel “Burlian”. The research method is qualitative research with intertext approach. The role of the researcher is a compulsory because the researcher is the key instrument in this study. The "Pancasila Student Profile" consists of six elements: (1) Faith, Fear of God, and Noble Manners, (2) Global Diversity, (3) Mutual Assistance, (4) Independence, (5) Critical Reasoning, (6) Creativity. The six characteristics included the Pancasila Student Profile. The instrument was used to assess the character in the Burlian Novel.  The results revealed that the character values in the Burlian Novel matched Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Diskusi zakat selalu menarik untuk dikaji secara akademik karena memadukan nilai taufiqi dan ijtihadi, terdapat nilai ubudiyah dan muamalah sekaligus dalam satu praktik ibadah. Surah At Taubah (9): 60 telah menunjuk secara jelas siapa saja para penerima manfaat zakat (disebut mustahiq zakat) sebagai dasar pendistribusian zakat diberikan kepada yang berhak secara tepat. Namun, kata yang menyebut delapan golongan (ashnaf) penerima zakat yang disebutkan dalam nash tidak semua selalu bisa diaplikasikan dalam kondisi kekinian secara aktual, sehingga membuka ruang diskusi akademik terutama untuk memaknai kembali kata yang menyebut para penerima manfaat zakat dengan tidak menyelisihi maqashidu asy-syariah. Penulis menawarkan pendekatan sosiologi dengan paradigma teori realitas sosial untuk memaknai kata per kata yang digunakan al-Qur’an untuk menyebut para mustahiq zakat, mulai dari fakir, miskin, amil, mualaf, riqab, gharim, fii sabilillah, dan ibn sabil. Hasil pencarian kata per kata yang paling mendekati yang disebut al-Qur’an mengenai mustahiq zakat dengan istilah kata tersebut dalam sosiologi menunjukkan bahwa identitas para penerima zakat lebih jelas diketahui indikatornya, lebih dinamis, lebih fleksibel, dan lebih sinkron sehingga lebih aktual dengan kehidupan realitas sosial
