Abstract

This study aims to develop Snakes and ladders game media to teach writing skills in grade VII students of MTs Syekh Subakir 2. Based on the need analysis with an English teacher, it was stated that during the pandemic students had difficulty understanding English material. The results of the questionnaire 10 students also stated that learning English was difficult, especially writing. This study and development proposed the (Borg, W. R. and Gall, 1989). Data was collected using interviews and questionnaire The process of developing Snakes and ladders learning media is carried out in 8 stages, namely: (1) Potential and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, ( 6) Product testing, (7) Usage trial (8) product revision. The result of Snakes and ladders media validated by material experts obtained material experts 86.67% and from obtained media experts 90% which means that it is valid and feasible for use as learning. Furthermore, this can be proven by the analysis of student satisfaction questionnaires which are used as a reference for the feasibility of learning products. The results of the data showed 100%, which stated that students were greatly helped and became more active writing with the Snakes and ladders learning media. In conclusion, Snakes and ladders media that was developed can use to teach writing in MTs Syekh Subakir 2.

Abstract

Dalam satu dekade ini pariwisata di Indonesia mengalami perkembangan yang pesat. Namun sejak diterpa Covid-19 pariwisata di Indonesia mengalami kelesuan. Pasca Covid-19 pariwisata mulai bangkit, namun tidak semua pariwisata bisa survive. Di Blitar pun juga mengalami hal yang sama. Meskipun Blitar merupakan kota bersejarah yang memiliki tempat wisata yang menarik untuk dikunjungi seperti Candi Penataran, Makam Bung karno, Kampung Cokelat, De Karanganjar Koffieplantage, Telaga Rambut Monte, Blitar Park dan Pantai Tambak Rejo serta tempat wisata lainnya. Namun banyak tempat wisata di Blitar yang sepi pengunjung sehingga perlu adanya strategi dan upaya yang nyata untuk membangkitkan wisata di Blitar. Perguruan Tinggi sebagai tempat kumpulan akademisi diharapkan dapat mencarikan solusi atas situasi ini. Sebagaimana kita ketahui di Blitar terdapat 2 kampus besar yang memiliki program studi Pendidikan Bahasa inggris yang mana program studi tersebut memiliki mata kulisah English for Tourism namun belum memiliki bahan ajar English for Tourism berbasis pariwisata yang ada di Blitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar mata kuliah English Tourism berbasis pariwisata yang akan digunakan dalam proses perkuliahan Program Studi Bahasa Inggris Semester 6 dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas buku yang dibuat terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar serta untuk meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa. Model penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan atau design research yang disebut dengan penelitian pengembangan model Plomp. Prosedur penelitian ini berupa Preliminary Research, Development or Prototyping Phase dan Assesment Phase. Dalam tahapan pengembangan materi, peneliti juga memberlakukan expert validation, dengan melibatkan ahli di bidangnya termasuk bidang curriculum and instructional material development dan tourism management, untuk mendapatkan empirical validation.

Abstract

The Islamic millennial generation was born in 1980-2000 and is very familiar with technology, so were Ushuluddin students of IAIN Kediri in the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. For their interest in improving their English writing skills, the researcher used a different class named Facebook class. Students had to upload their writing works on their Facebook tagging the researcher and their friends in the class. The research was to improve the writing skills of Ushuluddin students using the Classroom Action Research Method. It was conducted at IAIN Kediri and involved 220 Ushuluddin student’s faculty, as the object of the research. The participants were spread in 6 classes in 4 study programs. The result showed that students' marks increased, and so was their motivation to write. This implied that the Facebook class was a good way to learn writing. Then it can be concluded that students' writing skill was improved using Facebook class. Lecturers are very suggested to take the benefit of Facebook for the writing learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to the process and results of using mind mapping media to determine the development of English speaking skills of class XII MA Hassanudin Gaprang students in describing a text. English is an international language that must be learned in this modern era. Utilizing media as a strategy in learning is very effective in seeing student development. Using the ADDIE model method in this study, which is known as Research and Development (R & D). Data taken through observation, Interview, and questionnaires. The researcher obtained a value from the Instrument validator of 83% with valid criteria, 75% for the material validator with valid criteria, and the media validator obtained a value of 83.82% with valid criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to the process and results of using mind mapping media to determine the development of English speaking skills of class XII MA Hassanudin Gaprang students in describing a text. English is an international language that must be learned in this modern era. Utilizing media as a strategy in learning is very effective in seeing student development. Using the ADDIE model method in this study, which is known as Research and Development (R & D). Data taken through observation, Interview, and questionnaires. Abstract

Many elderly people in Carikan Hamlet cannot yet read the Koran, and there are no special learning programs for them. Therefore, TPQ Elderly was established to provide Al-Qur'an learning that suits the needs of the elderly. The TPQ Elderly Program was introduced to the community through pamphlets and direct outreach through religious activities and village events. Learning begins with the introduction of hijaiyah letters using teaching aids and continues with methods suitable for the elderly. Even though there are obstacles such as limited time because activities can be carried out after Maghrib prayers, efforts have been made to create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere and adapt learning methods to help the understanding of TPQ Elderly participants. Continuous evaluation will be carried out to assess the extent of effectiveness in helping elderly people read the Koran properly and correctly. Thus, through the PAR approach and implementation of the TPQ for the Elderly, the hope is to improve the ability to read the Koran in Carikan Hamlet and allow them to engage in meaningful religious activities in their old age.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul Analisis Manajemen Pembinaan Prestasi Tim PSHT Berbasis CIPP Di Sman 1 Garum Kabupaten Blitar Tahun 2021 dilaksanakan karena kurangnya perhatian dan dukungan pihak sekolah. Untuk itu, CIPP menjadi solusi dalam pemecahan masalah di SMAN 1 Garum Blitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembinaan prestasi dari segi context, input, process, product di SMAN 1 Garum. Metode yang digunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan konsep CIPP. Instrumen penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian untuk segi context visi misi dan tujuan program mendapat penilaian “sangat baik”, aspek input penerimaan pelatih dan sarana prasarana mendapat penilaian ”baik” dan “sangat baik” untuk perekrutan atlet, aspek process program latihan, atlet, koordinasi mendapat penilaian “sangat baik”, pelatih mendapat penilaian “baik”. untuk hasil konsumsi mendapat penilaian “kurang baik”, aspek product mendapat penilaian “sangat baik”.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know if students’ writing ability will increase after using picture media. In the English teaching and learning skill, the student still had a difficulty. The subject of the research was students on class X IPS 1 of MAN 1 Blitar. The participant of the research was 34 students of class X IPS 1. This research was categorized as Research and Development (R&D) by Borg and Gall. The steps of the research were research and information collecting, planning, develops preliminary of the product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, and final product revision. The instruments used for collecting data were field note and questionnaire. The validity in this research were obtained through two judgment of expert, they were material expert and media expert. The result of this study categorized as valid with percentage of 90.27% material validation, 82.5% media validation, and 91.1% students’ response.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan pada kelas V terdapat materi gerak dasar atletik. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan wawancara di lapangan, peneliti menemukan kurangnya inovasi terhadap media pembelajaran, hal ini membuat kurangnya minat baca dan pemahaman siswa terhadap buku pelajaran yang dimiliki, mereka juga membutuhkan penyerderhanaan serta tambahan sumber belajar dikarenakan tidak adanya praktek dilapangan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang menarik, sederhana, dan dapat membantu proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media buku saku materi gerak dasar atletik untuk kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu, analisis (analisys), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan media buku saku materi gerak dasar atletik untuk kelas V, yang sudah dinilai oleh responden termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Abstract: Physical education learning in sports and health in class V contains basic athletic movement material. Based on the results of observations and interviews in the field, the researchers found a lack of innovation in learning media, this made students' lack of interest in reading and understanding of their textbooks, they also needed simplification and additional learning resources due to the absence of practice in the field. Based on this, students need learning media that are interesting, simple, and can help the learning process. This study aims to develop a pocket book media for basic athletic movement material for class V. This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. (evaluation). The results of the research and development of pocket book media for basic athletic movement material for class V, which have been assessed by respondents as being in the very appropriate category for use in learning.

Abstract

The use of learning media will facilitate teachers and students in the English learning process. One of the learning media that can be used is Wordwall. This research aims to develop materials using learning media based on the Wordwall Website and analyze the development results related to its suitability for vocabulary teaching. The subjects of this study were students of grade 10-2 at Madrasah Aliyah Sirojut Tholibin. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development model used in this research was ADDIE which consists of five steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the development process, there was the involvement of instrument experts, product experts, and material experts before the media was tested on students. Each result provided by the expert was used as material for improvement. The validation results from instrument experts amounted to 80%, product experts 90%, and material experts 78%. It means that the learning media developed is "valid" to be tested on students as learning media. After the trial process, students gave responses with an average percentage of 84.3%. It means that the media is also "valid" to be used to help improve their vocabulary and learning motivation in English lessons.
