Abstract

Background: Digital technology has become a crucial element of modern education, requiring innovative learning approaches that align with students’ needs. Specific Background: In elementary schools, learning activities often rely heavily on textbooks, which limit student engagement and interactivity. Knowledge Gap: Few studies have explored the use of Google Slides as a fully interactive medium combining multimedia elements for Indonesian language instruction. Aim: This study developed an interactive learning medium based on Google Slides for fifth-grade Indonesian language classes, tested its validity, practicality, and learning outcomes. Results: Media validation results were very high (82.50% and 93.75% from media experts, 82.14% and 94.64% from material experts), teacher responses reached 97.50%, and student responses 96.15%, indicating excellent practicality. Learning achievement increased from 31% (pretest) to 94% (posttest). Novelty: The media integrates internal navigation, quizzes, audio, visual, and animation into a single platform, allowing students to interact with materials actively and independently. Implications: This research offers an adaptive and replicable learning resource that supports student-centered pedagogy and can serve as a model for technology integration in primary schools. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui Media Animasi Kartun pada mata pelajaran menulis paragraf narasi. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana menerapkan media animasi kartun untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis paragraf narasi siswa kelas VII SMP Unismuh Makassar. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dimana disetiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan.Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Unismuh Makassar yang terdiri atas 22 Siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu siklus I dan Siklus II dengan target ketuntasan minimal, yaitu 75,00. Nilai rata-rata siswa dari siklus I sebesar 40,90, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 77,27 persen. Keaktifan belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari jumlah ketuntasan siklus I sebesar 40,90 persen, dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 77,27 persen. Perilaku siswa juga mengalami perubahan yang positif selama mengikuti pembelajaran menulis paragraf narasi melalui media animasi kartun.Siswa lebih aktif dan tertarik untuk belajar menulis paragraf narasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut , guru Bahasa Indonesia disarankan untuk menggunakan media animasi kartun dalam pembelajaran menulis paragraf narasi.

Abstract

Environmental violence in schools is a crucial issue that requires structured and sustainable intervention. The aim of this project is to foster critical awareness and leadership among students in promoting the values of peaceful culture, tolerance, and anti-violence through the use of educational technology (Edutech). The activities were carried out using a participatory approach through training, socialization, and the implementation of edutech media based on the cultural values of Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, and Sipakainge to build an anti-violence school culture. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to measure improvements in students' cultural literacy and anti-violence attitudes. The main results of this activity show a significant increase in students' cultural literacy and their skills in using digital platforms to spread anti-violence campaigns and positive environmental education. This project has succeeded in creating change agents among students who actively advocate for a safe and inclusive school environment, proving that the integration of cultural literacy and Edutech is an effective strategy in preventing environmental violence.ABSTRAKKekerasan lingkungan di sekolah menjadi isu krusial yang memerlukan intervensi terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari projek ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis dan kepemimpinan siswa dalam mempromosikan nilai-nilai budaya damai, toleransi, dan anti-kekerasan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi edukasi (Edutech). Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan, sosialisasi, dan implementasi media edutech berbasis nilai budaya Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, dan Sipakainge guna membangun budaya sekolah anti-kekerasan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan literasi budaya dan sikap antikekerasan siswa. Hasil utama dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman literasi budaya siswa serta keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan platform digital untuk menyebarkan kampanye anti-kekerasan dan edukasi lingkungan yang positif. Projek ini berhasil menciptakan agen perubahan di kalangan siswa yang aktif mengadvokasi lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan inklusif, membuktikan bahwa integrasi literasi budaya dan Edutech merupakan strategi efektif dalam pencegahan kekerasan lingkungan.

Abstract

The increasing problem of plastic waste in schools negatively affects cleanliness, health, and aesthetics, thereby requiring educational and innovative solutions. The Seminar “Ecobrick: Creative and Innovative Solutions in Utilizing Plastic Waste in Schools”, organized by students of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Batch 2 of 2024, majoring in Civic Education (PPKn), aimed to raise students’ awareness at SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa about plastic waste management through education and hands-on Ecobrick-making activities. The implementation consisted of three stages: planning, conducting the seminar and practical session, and reporting. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills in processing plastic waste into functional products such as chairs, while supporting the implementation of the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) concept at school. The seminar was attended by 40 eighth-grade students and OSIS members recommended by teachers. Evaluation results indicated that 85% of participants understood the concept of plastic waste processing and were able to produce Ecobricks independently. This activity had a positive impact in fostering environmental awareness and social responsibility, as well as serving as a concrete example of implementing Pancasila values through sustainable environmental action.ABSTRAKMasalah sampah plastik yang meningkat di lingkungan sekolah berdampak negatif terhadap kebersihan, kesehatan, dan estetika, sehingga diperlukan solusi edukatif dan inovatif. Kegiatan Seminar “Ecobrick: Solusi Kreatif dan Inovatif dalam Pemanfaatan Sampah Plastik di Sekolah” yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa PPG Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Gelombang 2 Tahun 2024 bidang studi PPKn bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa terhadap pengelolaan sampah plastik melalui edukasi dan praktik pembuatan Ecobrick. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan seminar dan praktik, serta pelaporan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengolah sampah plastik menjadi produk fungsional berupa kursi, serta mendukung penerapan konsep 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) di sekolah. Seminar diikuti oleh 40 peserta didik kelas VIII dan anggota OSIS yang direkomendasikan guru. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, 85% peserta memahami konsep pengolahan sampah plastik dan mampu menghasilkan Ecobrick secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif dalam menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan, tanggung jawab sosial, serta menjadi wujud nyata penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui aksi peduli lingkungan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the concept sentence learning model on narrative essay writing skills in class V UPT SDN 149 Tamalala students. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design research and is a quantitative type of research. The sample in this study was 12 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning results tests and observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive data analysis technique and T-Test. The results of the research show that the skill of writing narrative essays before implementing the concept sentence learning model in the pretest with an average score of 59. Meanwhile in the posttest it increased with an average score of 83. Results of the t-test analysis of the influence of the concept sentence learning model on the learning outcomes of student participants The results show that the significance value obtained is good, namely the influence of the concept sentence learning model on narrative essay writing skills (Sig = 0.010) is smaller than the alpha value set, namely 0.05 (0.010 < 0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the use of blog media on learning interest in writing skills, and personal experiences of class V students at SDN 179 Tanah Beru, Bulukumba Regency, in terms of the use of student interest response questionnaires. The type of research used is pre-experimental research. The research design used is a one-shot case study, namely experimental research carried out by demonstrating the strength of measurement and scientific value of a research design. The experimental subjects in this research were 19 students as a trial class to apply the use of blog media. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire technique of student learning interests or student responses. The research results show that from the results of the data analysis of the student interest in learning questionnaire, the ideal score is 92.89%, which is in the very good category. So, it can be concluded that the influence of using blog media on interest in learning the personal experience writing skills of class V students at SDN 179 Tanah Beru, Bulukumba Regency is in the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher performance in terms of planning, implementation, evaluation, communication, and competency development. This study used a descriptive quantitative design to analyze the performance of Indonesian language teachers. The population in this study were all Indonesian language subject teachers who taught at Madrasah Aliyah in Makassar City, totaling 46 people. The sample in this study were Indonesian language subject teachers who taught at 3 State Aliyah Madrasahs in Makassar City totaling 17 people. Data collection using a questionnaire given to Indonesian language subject teachers. The data collected were then analyzed by descriptive statistics. Before analyzing the data, researchers will process the data through editing, coding, and tabulating. The data will be presented in the form of frequency distribution tables and percentages. The results showed that the performance of Indonesian language teachers was still moderate. It needs improvement in planning, implementation, evaluation, communication, and competency development. Strategic steps are needed: improving students' initial analysis and technology in lesson plans, focusing on time management, interesting learning methods, evaluation with appropriate items, good communication, and competency development with class action research and scientific work. A comprehensive approach through professional development, innovative learning, continuous evaluation, open communication, and competency development is key in improving the performance of Indonesian language teachers.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan agar para guru sekolah dasar mendapatkan bimbingan/pelatihan mengenai penerapan strategi Lipirtup berbantuan media reality show dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cepen. Sebagai alternatif sehingga guru tetap mampu melakukan proses pembelajaran dengan baik serta menjadi guru yang profesional, menjadikan guru yang kreatif dan inovatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah murid kelas IV UPT SPF SD Negeri Kakatua. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes tertulis dalam bentuk uraian dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teknik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I yang tuntas secara individu dari 17 murid terdapat 7 murid atau 35%, dan 6 murid dengan atau 35% yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal, dan terdapat 4 murid atau 2% belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan mininaml. Kemudian pada tahap Siklus II terdapat 12 murid atau 25% memenuhi (KKM)dengan kategori baik dan terdapat 5 murid atau 75% yang memenuhi KKM dengan kategori sangat baik Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil keterampilan menulis cerpen Murid di UPT SPF SD Negeri Kakatua melalui penggunaan strategi Lipirtup berbantuan media reality show mengalami peningkatan.  Kata kunci: Strategi Lipirtup berbantuan media reality show, menulis cerpen.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in diverse culture and local wisdom, one of which is the Mandar tribe tradition in Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi. This local wisdom plays an important role in forming the character of individuals and society. The "Mepuang" and "Metabe" traditions of the Mandar tribe are two examples of local wisdom that are full of moral and ethical values. Mepuang is a tradition of welcoming guests with full respect, reflecting friendliness, respect and politeness. Metabe is a tradition of mutual cooperation that emphasizes cooperation, solidarity and social responsibility. Character education aims to form students who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have noble character. The integration of local wisdom values ​​in character education in elementary schools is expected to be an effective approach in achieving this goal. This research explores how the local wisdom of the Mandar Tribe, especially the Mepuang and Metabe, can contribute to the character education of elementary school students in Polewali Mandar Regency. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participant observation to collect data from various sources, including teachers, students and local traditional leaders. The research results show that the integration of Mepuang and Metabe values ​​in the curriculum and school activities can form better student characters in terms of cooperation, responsibility and politeness. This research concludes that local wisdom has great potential to enrich character education in elementary schools. The implementation of local cultural values ​​not only preserves cultural heritage but also strengthens the character of the younger generation in facing the challenges of globalization. Effective integration between formal education and local wisdom is the key to the success of character education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Development of Quizziz Learning Media Based on Local Wisdom in Text Learning Based on the Independent Curriculum at Dharma Yadi Makassar Junior High School. This research aims to develop a digital learning media of procedural texts with a quizziz application based on local wisdom in grade VII junior high school students. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The product feasibility test was carried out by Indonesian teachers and 10 grade VII students of SMP Dharma Yadi Makassar. The results obtained from the development of procedural text teaching materials with the quizziz application based on local wisdom in grade VII junior high school, received an assessment with very good criteria. The results of the validation of the assessment of Indonesian teachers received an average percentage of 93.3% and 94.4%, and the assessment of student responses received an average percentage of 89.2%. Thus, it can be concluded that the procedural text digital teaching material product with the quizziz application based on local wisdom for grade VII junior high school students is very feasible to be used in teaching and learning activities.
