Abstract

Krisis lingkungan yang semakin mengkhawatirkan menuntut adanya peningkatan literasi konservasi, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Literasi konservasi tidak hanya mencakup pemahaman terhadap konsep lingkungan, tetapi juga kesadaran dan tindakan nyata dalam upaya pelestarian alam. Cagar Alam Rawa Danau, sebagai kawasan konservasi di Banten yang memiliki keanekaragaman hayati tinggi, memiliki potensi besar sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas e-modul berbasis keanekaragaman hayati di Cagar Alam Rawa Danau dalam meningkatkan literasi konservasi siswa SMA. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, melibatkan dua kelas X sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes literasi konservasi (pretest dan posttest), angket persepsi, dan lembar observasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi konservasi dengan nilai signifikansi p < 0,001, sementara kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan peningkatan yang berarti (p = 0,078). Rata-rata skor peningkatan pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 22,4 poin, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya meningkat 6,3 poin. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-modul kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, kepedulian, dan aksi siswa terhadap konservasi lingkungan

Abstract

Materi genetika, seperti DNA dan RNA, sangat penting pada program studi D3 Farmasi. Namun demikian, materi tersebut sangat kompleks dan abstrak sehingga mahasiswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif media AR dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa D3 Farmasi Universitas Mangku Wiyata tentang konsep DNA dan RNA.  Sampel penelitian ini adalah 40 mahasiswa di semester I yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen pretest-posttest control group dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep, angket persepsi, dan lembar observasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen meningkat secara signifikan dari 58,25 menjadi 85,75 (skor peningkatan = 0,66, kategori tinggi), dan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol meningkat secara signifikan dari 57,00 menjadi 72,25 (skor peningkatan = 0,36, kategori sedang).  Media AR lebih efektif daripada metode konvensional. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p = 0,002).  Sebagian besar siswa menyatakan bahwa visualisasi interaktif AR membuat belajar lebih mudah dan mendorong mereka untuk belajar.  Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media augmented reality (AR) merupakan solusi inovatif untuk masalah pembelajaran genetika yang kompleks dan abstrak.

Abstract

Identification is the basis for grouping living things. Identification can be done by observing the morphological characteristics of a specimen. This research was conducted to identify the diversity of Phanerogamae and Cryptogamae plant species in the Bina Bangsa University Campus environment and their use as a learning resource for students in plant diversity courses. The research methodology used is an exploratory, descriptive survey method, which collects plant data and observes the morphology of the plants. The research results show two types of plants, namely higher plants (phanerogamae) and lower plants (cryptogamae). Two sub-divisions are found in higher plants, namely the Angiospermae and Gymnospermae sub-divisions. In the Gymnospermae sub-division, 1 class with one order was found, while in the Angiospermae division, two classes were found, namely monocotyledoneae and dicotyledoneae. In the monocotyledoneae, five orders were found with five families, while in the dicotyledoneae class, 12 orders were found with 14 families. In lower plants, the bryophyta and pteridophyta groups were found. The bryophyta division was found to be 1 class with three orders, while the pteridophyta division was two classes with three orders. The diversity of plants in the area also contributes to the development of a green and pleasant environment, while the resources obtained from these plants can support learning processes, particularly in biology education.

Abstract

Based on the results of previous research, butterfly pea flower kombucha has been proven that apart from being able to be used as a probiotic drink to enhance the immune system, it can be used as an active ingredient in medicines and cosmetics, a raw material for organic liquid fertilizer, and also in formulations and spray preparations designed to inhibit the growth of pathogenic fungi that cause wilt. concave, and brownish on the stems of horticultural commodity plants. This research aims to make a fermented solution of butterfly pea flower kombucha as a formulation and spray preparation designed as an antifungal for Fusarium solani. The Fusarium solani antifungal test of each formulation and the telang flower kombucha spray preparation was carried out using disc diffusion. One-way ANOVA and post hoc analysis are the statistical analyzes used in this research. Based on the one-way ANOVA test with a p value of <0.05 each, followed by post hoc analysis, it was proven that butterfly pea flower kombucha at a sugar concentration of 40% was significantly different as an antifungal for Fusarium solani compared to 20% and 30%. The conclusion in this study is that a sugar concentration of 40% in this study is the best treatment as an antifungal for Fusarium solani, so that apart from being used as a probiotic drink, butterfly pea flower kombucha in this study has the potential to be used as an antifungal for Fusarium solani.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to develop an inquiry-based Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) oriented website that focuses on mangrove in the Pulau Dua Nature Reserve to enhance high school students’ ecoliteracy. The research addresses the limited availability of digital learning media that successfully integrate local environmental content with inquiry-driven learning approaches. Method: The study applied the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. Validation was conducted by media and material experts, followed by classroom implementation with selected high school students in Serang Regency. Data collection combined quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data were obtained from pretest and posttest assessments on ecoliteracy indicators, while qualitative data were gathered through expert reviews and teacher interviews. Results: The results indicated a significant improvement in students' ecoliteracy, covering cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. All six measured aspects showed positive development, including ecological knowledge, environmental awareness, attitudes and values, ecological skills, critical and reflective thinking, and environmental action. The effectiveness was confirmed through statistical analysis using paired sample t-tests. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the integration of local environmental issues into a digital learning platform that promotes critical thinking and sustainability-oriented behavior. The website provides a contextual and interactive learning experience that connects ecological content with global sustainability perspectives. These findings demonstrate the potential of localized and inquiry-based digital tools to strengthen students' understanding and commitment to sustainable development.

Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan hidup di sekolah menengah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran konservasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji strategi manajemen pendidikan lingkungan hidup di sekolah menengah serta dampaknya terhadap kesadaran konservasi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta survei kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan lingkungan hidup dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis lingkungan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa terhadap isu lingkungan, seperti pengelolaan sampah dan penghijauan. Namun, keterbatasan anggaran, fasilitas, dan pelatihan guru menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaannya. Dukungan orang tua dan masyarakat turut berperan penting dalam keberhasilan program. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan lingkungan hidup perlu diintegrasikan secara menyeluruh dalam kurikulum sekolah dan didukung kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat untuk membentuk generasi yang peduli lingkungan, serta memerlukan pengembangan model yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan guna menghasilkan dampak jangka panjang terhadap perilaku konservasi siswa.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a crucial core competency for elementary school students' success, yet many challenges remain in the practice of reading instruction. Learning often focuses on the literal aspect without addressing deeper cognitive aspects, such as critical thinking about texts. Critical literacy, which positions students as active readers, can be a solution in developing reading comprehension skills. This study aims to analyze the role of metacognitive awareness in critical literacy learning on elementary school students' reading comprehension skills. Using a quantitative, explanatory design, this study shows that critical literacy learning positively influences reading comprehension skills. Furthermore, metacognitive awareness plays an important role in mediating this influence, as students with strong metacognitive awareness tend to be better able to understand texts in depth. The analysis results show that critical literacy learning not only improves reading comprehension skills directly but also increases students' awareness of their thinking processes while reading. These findings suggest that a critical literacy approach integrating metacognitive awareness can improve the quality of elementary school students' reading comprehension and have important implications for the development of Indonesian language learning at the elementary level.
