Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of creativity, environment, and capital on entrepreneurial interest, with motivation acting as a mediating variable among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at a university. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, and data were collected through questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The population consisted of active students in the faculty, with a total sample of 109 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results show that motivation has a significant direct effect on entrepreneurial interest and serves as the primary mediating factor in this study. Creativity was found to have a positive and significant influence on motivation and indirectly contributed substantially to entrepreneurial interest through motivation. The environment emerged as the strongest factor affecting both motivation and entrepreneurial interest. In contrast, capital had the weakest influence on entrepreneurial interest compared to the other variables. Overall, the research model explains 99.7% of the variability in students’ entrepreneurial interest, emphasizing motivation as the key mediating variable linking creativity, environment, and capital to entrepreneurial aspirations.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Freedom in liberal and Islamic economic systems is interesting to study. This research aims to explore the implementation of freedom in Islamic economics. This research describes this phenomenon as it exists according to the point of view or approach used. Documentation techniques are used to collect data in the form of the Al-Qur'an, books and articles referenced from online, print and internet journals. Data collection is carried out to obtain materials that are relevant, accurate and reliable. This research is qualitative research in which the research procedures produce descriptive data in both written and verbal form from the object under study. The data that has been collected is then analyzed and concluded deductively, namely drawing conclusions from general statements to specific statements. It is concluded that the implementation of the concept of freedom in the Islamic economic system can be explained in two perspectives, namely: the theological perspective and the ushul fiqh perspective. Meanwhile, the implementation of freedom in the Islamic economic system is freedom in morals, namely morals in consumption, morals in production, and morals in distribution. Even though there is freedom in the Islamic economy, there are still limitations to Islamic law that must be obeyed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process and success of poverty alleviation carried out by the North Luwu district government. The data used in this study are cross-section data. The method of determining respondents is by using purposive random sampling which is snowball sampling. The research method used is a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods are observation and direct interviews. The data analysis technique uses QDA (Qualitative Data Analysis) which is divided into 4 important processes, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions (verification). The results of the study show that the main cause of poverty in North Luwu district is due to lack of income to meet basic needs such as food, housing, education and health, to meet these needs will always be related to spending. The largest expenditure comes from non-food expenditures, namely in housing and household facilities or the highest of all components of non-food needs of a household. Therefore, the government provides "house renovation" assistance through the BSPS program to poor people who have uninhabitable houses. In addition, other assistance such as BPNT, PKH and PBI are also given in cash to people who are categorized as poor in North Luwu Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of infrastructure in promoting economic growth through a qualitative literature study approach. Good infrastructure is recognized as a key factor in economic development, especially in developing countries, where accessibility and efficiency are often hampered by a lack of basic facilities. This study collects and analyzes various literature sources including scientific journals, books, and policy reports to identify how infrastructure, such as transportation, energy, and telecommunications, affect economic growth. Findings from the literature show that investments in infrastructure not only improve economic efficiency and productivity, but also contribute to reducing social and economic inequality by expanding access to markets and employment opportunities. However, challenges such as resource constraints, inefficient project management and corruption often hinder the success of infrastructure projects. This study also identifies gaps in the existing literature and provides recommendations for further research and policies that can improve the effectiveness of infrastructure development. The results of this study are expected to provide greater insight into how effective infrastructure strategies can contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
