Abstract

This study aims to see to what extent the application of the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model increasing students creativity at SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar. The number of sempel as many as 40 people. This study used an experimental method, the data analysis technique used parametric statistics, namely the normality test used the chi square test, the homogeneity test used the F-test and the hypothesis test used the t-test. To find out to what extent the application of the Picture and Picture Cooperatif Learning Model in PAK Learning in Improving Student Creativity in Learning, the data analysis shows that the learning outcomes data are normally distributed and also homogeneous. Student creativity in the experimental class was higher than the control class, namely 142>125.8. The difference in student creativity between the experimental class and the control class is also significant because the results of the difference test (t test) obtained tcount greater than t table with a significant level of 5%, namely 2.779> 2.026. It can be conclude that the application of the Picture and Picture type of cooperative learning model has a significant effect on increasing the learning creativity of grade VII student at SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar

Abstract

The lack of access to learning in schools leads to a decline in children's interest in studying. This has become a problem experienced by the children of Dusun Bulaya, Ilan Batu Uru Village, West Walendrang District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province. As a result, many children drop out of school. The lack of guidance and counseling at home and in school causes a decrease in children's motivation to continue learning. This issue underlies the activities that will be carried out by the community service program; these activities are conducted to educate and shape children's character so that they become more independent and optimal during their early educational years. Early childhood education plays an important role in forming the foundation of children's character and academic abilities. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of tutoring and counseling programs in improving the quality of education and the character of children at TK KRISTEN SETIA Bulaya. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with the technique Observation, interviews, and documentation are used as data collection instruments. The research results indicate that tutoring programs can enhance students' basic academic understanding, while counseling services help develop positive attitudes, empathy, and discipline from an early age. Collaboration between teachers and parents is key to the success of this program. In conclusion, the integrated combination of tutoring and counseling significantly contributes to improving the quality of education and the character development of kindergarten children.

Abstract

This research examines environmental ethics in Christian theology, highlighting human responsibility towards God's creation. In the modern era, the ecological damage caused by human activities has become a serious concern related to the moral obligations outlined in the Bible, which states that humans are entrusted to manage and care for creation, even though this practice is often neglected. This article is compiled using qualitative methods through a literature review approach. The aim is to explore how Christian teachings can integrate environmental awareness into the daily lives of believers. The research findings indicate that a deep understanding of creation and human responsibility as stewards can lead to collective action for environmental sustainability. This research is expected to be a source of inspiration for the Christian community to actively contribute to preserving creation for the well-being of future generations. Therefore, environmental ethics is not just a moral issue, but also an integral part of faith that must be manifested in tangible actions.

Abstract

Keraguan dan keyakinan merupakan dua aspek yang sering muncul dalam perjalanan iman seseorang. Hal ini bisa saja akibat berabgai faktor. Melihat kesenjangan ini sebenarnya telah ada beberapa pandangan yang terkait langsung dengan iman dan keselamatan. Misalnya kaum Calvinis dan Luteran yang tidak begitu berbeda. Namun sangat berbeda dengan pandangan kaum Armenian. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dinamika antara keraguan dan keyakinan dalam konteks keselamatan melalui studi teks Keluaran 14:13-14. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan eksegesis, artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana transisi dari keraguan menuju keyakinan berperan dalam menemukan keselamatan dari Tuhan Yesus. Analisis teks dilakukan dengan memperhatikan konteks historis, makna kata kunci dalam bahasa asli, dan aplikasinya dalam kehidupan beriman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keraguan, meskipun tampak negatif, dapat menjadi titik awal dalam perjalanan iman seseorang menuju keyakinan yang lebih dalam. Keyakinan yang ditunjukkan Musa menjadi model respons iman yang membawa kepada pengalaman nyata akan keselamatan ilahi, di mana Tuhan sendiri bertindak sebagai pemberi keselamatan sedangkan manusia diminta untuk merespons dengan iman dan ketaatan.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of involving all congregation members in carrying out missions. The involvement of church members begins with the Christian family knowing the values of the mission. This is inseparable from how Christian leaders apply it in ministry. The purpose of the study was to explain the application of mission values in Christian families in Mentawai, by considering the condition of diversity that continues to grow in culture, religion, and tribe in Mentawai, West Sumatra. The method used is qualitative by collecting data from the literature. The results of the study found that the application of mission values in the Christian family can be made by being a bearer of good news, being a congregation of disciples, being a congregation that grows in teaching, and being a congregation that supports missions. The diversity of cultures, religions, and tribes in Mentawai can trigger the enthusiasm and persistence of the Church, both GKPM and other churches that serve there.
