Abstract

The development of technology and lifestyle now shows the increasing importance of practicality and efficiency cause the need to control various electrical loads is not only done by requiring that in close proximity these electrical devices and pressing the on / off switch but can also be done remotely (Android). There is various ways to control the electrical load. Controlling electrical loads that are often encountered, namely by push the on / off switch. As time goes by it develops as an alternative in controlling electrical loads, among others, by touching a sensor to control the electricity load on / off, then there is more Electricity load control by using Android to control on / off electricity load. With the background above, then I want to make an electronic circuit that is capable of being able to control the lights using Android using the BLYNK app. Requirements that must exist to build This application is an Android, Relay v5, ATMega 328p microcontroller, and several other devices.

Abstract

Petty cash includes a number of funds specially formed for routine and relatively small expenses. Petty cash is used to mark relatively small management expenses such as purchasing office stationery, consumption funds for meeting purposes. As a person who is trusted by the leadership to manage petty cash, he must be able to organize and plan petty cash funds and make financial records that are re-booked by the company's finance department using the imprest and fluctuation methods. Many students still do not understand how and techniques to prepare petty cash using the imprest and fluctuation methods, therefore the training for preparing petty cash using the imprest and fluctuation method is very important for students of SMK Satrya Budi 2 Simalungun Regency Trade in order to face the Expertise Competency Test (UKK) and National Examination (UN) so that students can work on exam questions quickly and accurately. After participating in this training, it is hoped that the students of SMK Satrya Budi 2 Trading, Simalungun Regency can gain insight and knowledge about the methods and techniques for compiling petty cash bookkeeping, completing exam questions quickly and accurately in accordance with the allotted time. and the pass rate reaches 100%.

Abstract

According to the title of the program, the method of ipteks maintenance that is used is learning and exploring the Linux Operating System. Pelatihan keterampilan ditunjang dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, dan juga langsung praktek di laboratorium komputer. Modul pelatihan diberikan kepada peserta sebagai alat kegiatan praktek di laboratorium. The goal of this program's implementation is to improve the performance of SMK UISU students through the use of word processing applications, as well as to teach SMK UISU students about the Linux Operating System, in order to reduce the gap between SMK UISU student performance and the national average. Based on the results of the evaluation and the lessons learned during the implementation of the P2M program, we can conclude that the program is capable of providing significant and timely benefits to khalayak anak-anak panti asuhan, which has become a khalayak sasaran in the process. Pelatihan like this is a very effective way of providing new knowledge and understanding in the field of information technology in the context of the various learning processes that take place in schools across the country

Abstract

The number of criminal rates that occur in the area of Simalungun Regency each year experiences an increase and decrease in crime cases each year. For example in the types of gambling crimes, in 2012 there were 89 cases, in 2013 there were 102 cases, in 2014 there were 92 cases, in 2015 there were 102 cases, in 2016 there were 94 cases, and in 2017 there were 86 cases. Then this problem is used as a basis in this study, which aims to provide information in the form of prediction data to the police in an effort to anticipate the rise in cases of types of crime in the following year. Efforts are being made to predict the level of crime in Simalungun Regency by applying the Bacpropagation algorithm ANN method. This research uses MATLAB R2011b and uses 5 architectural models to test the data that will be used for etimation / prediction, namely models 4-20-1, 4-30-1, 4-40-1, 4-50-1, 4- 70-1. Then the best architectural model results obtained are architectural models 4-20-1 with an accuracy of 93%, with the number of epochs 4575 in 51 seconds and MSE of 0,0009995011. This model will be used to predict Criminal Levels in Simalungun District from 2018 to 2022 with an accuracy of 93%.

Abstract

The results of the implementation of service activities that have been carried out that PAUD teacher's knowledge about microsoft office learning as an application of word processing is still inadequate prior to the training. This is indicated from the results of the pre-test. Activities carried out by the team of lecturers and students of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa "Pemburu Jurnal" in kindergarten. Nazaret HKBP addressing Jl. Jend. Ahmad Yani No. 63 Pematangsiantar is a positive activity that aims to equip PAUD teachers about technological knowledge, especially microsoft office as a word processing application that is required to be known in technological 4.0. The number of 60 PAUD teacher participants in the city of Pematangsiantar who worked on the pre-test and post-test stated that the insights of knowledge about learning Microsoft Word as an application of word processing increased. In the pre-test session, test participants can answer a maximum of 9 questions correctly by 8% (5 participants) and no one can answer 10 questions correctly (0%). While in the post test session, participants were able to answer all questions correctly as many as 10 questions by 45% (28 participants).

Abstract

Abstrak — Pengangguran merupakan salah satu masalah ekonomi yang mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia secara langsung. Di Indonesia tingkat persentase pengangguran cukup tinggi, khususnya pada provinsi Sumatera Utara. Contohnya tercatat pada tahun 2010, kota sibolga memilik tingkat pengangguran yang paling tinggi yaitu berada di angka 17.50% dari total penduduknya. Berbeda dengan Samosir yang hanya memilik 0.55% pengangguran dari total penduduknya. Untuk dapat mengurangi jumlah pengangguran, khususnya di Sumatera Utara maka perlu dilakukan estimasi tingkat pengangguran untuk tahun-tahun mendatang, agar pemerintah memiliki acuan dalam menentukan kebijakan sehingga dapat melakukan penanggulangan terhadap jumlah pengangguran. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terfokus pada data tingkat pengangguran terbuka penduduk umur 15 tahun keatas dari tahun 2010-2015 di Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Jaringan Saraf Tiruan Backpropagation. Analisa data dilakukan dengan algoritma backpropagation menggunakan Matlab. Arsitektur jaringan yang digunakan ada 5 model (4-55-1, 4-57-1, 4-59-1, 4-61-1 dan 4-77-1), dengan model yang terbaik adalah 4-55-1 dengan Learning Rate yang digunakan 0.01. Sehingga menghasilkan tingkat akurasi 88% dengan nilai Mean Squared Error (MSE) adalah 0,55701127.Kata kunci— Pengangguran, Estimasi, Penduduk, Jaringan Saraf, Sumatera Utara.Abstract — Unemployment is one of the economic problems that affect human life directly. In Indonesia the level of unemployment is quite high, especially in North Sumatra province. For example, recorded in 2010, sibolga city has the highest unemployment rate that is at 17.50% of the total population. In contrast to Samosir who only have 0.55% unemployment out of the total population. In order to reduce the number of unemployment, especially in North Sumatra, it is necessary to estimate the unemployment rate for the coming years, so that the government has a reference in determining the policy so that it can handle the number of unemployed. The data used in this study focuses on open unemployment rate data of the population aged 15 years and over from 2010-2015 in North Sumatra. The method used in this research is Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation. Data analysis is done by backpropagation algorithm using Matlab. Network architecture used there are 5 models (4-55-1, 4-57-1, 4-59-1, 4-61-1 and 4-77-1), with the best model is 4-55-1 with Learning Rate used 0.01. So as to produce an accuracy of 88% with the Mean Squared Error (MSE) is 0.55701127.Keywords— Unemployment, Estimation, Population, Neural Network, North Sumatera.

Abstract

Abstrak — Beras merupakan makanan pokok yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Tingginya kebutuhan pangan terutama beras memaksa pemerintah dan penduduk untuk menerima tingginya harga eceran beras. Tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian ini untuk memprediksi harga eceran beras terhitung 2017-2020 dengan menggunakan algoritm backpropagation. Dalam penggunaannya algoritma backpropagation ini sangat baik untuk melakukan tugas prediksi dengan tingkat kesalahan yang cukup rendah. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 arsitektur antara lain : 4-25-1, 4-35-1, 4-40-1, 4-42-1, 4-45-1 dengan learning rate 0,09. Dari ke 5 Arsitektur ini, arsitektur terbaiknya adalah 4-45-1 dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 88%, epoch 12718 iterasi dan waktu 1 menit 14 detik.Kata kunci— Prediksi, Harga, Beras, Indonesia, Backpropagation. Abstract — Rice is the staple food most consumed by the people of Indonesia. The high demand for food, especially rice, forced the government and residents to accept the high retail price of rice. The purpose of the authors to do this research to predict the retail price of rice counted 2017-2020 using backpropagation algorithm. In its use the backpropagation algorithm is excellent for performing prediction tasks with a fairly low error rate. The data in this study were obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). This study uses 5 architectures, among others: 4-25-1, 4-35-1, 4-40-1, 4-42-1, 4-45-1. From the 5th Architecture, the best architecture is 4-45-1 with an accuracy of 88%, epoch 12718 iteration and 1 minute 14 seconds.Keywords — Prediction, Price, Rice, Indonesia, Backpropagation.

Abstract

Angka Harapan Hidup merupakan indikator dan alat untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan penduduk pada umumnya, dan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan pada khususnya. Adapun penulisan ini dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan dan membuktikan bahwa Algoritma Resilient Backpropagation dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi angka harapan hidup masyarakat di Sumatera Utara. Data penelitian adalah data angka harapan hidup di Sumatera Utara yang terdiri dari 33 kabupaten/Kota, yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2013 sampai tahun 2017.  Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 model arsitektur yaitu 4-10-1, 4-11-1, 4-12-1, 4-13-1 dan 4-14-1. Dari kelima model arsitektur yang digunakan di peroleh satu model arsitektur terbaik 4-10-1 dengan tingkat keakurasian 88 %, epoch 22 iterasi dalam waktu 4 detik dan MSE 0,00100006. Berdasarkan model arsitektur terbaik ini akan digunakan untuk memprediksi angka harapan hidup masyarakat Sumatera Utara untuk 5 tahun yang akan datang, yakni tahun 2018 hingga tahun 2022

Abstract

AMIK Tunas Bangsa is a growing university in Pematangsiantar. Therefore, there are still many university activities and activities that are constrained by problems. One of them is the problem in the selection of employees by the foundation to occupy the position of Laboratory Assistant. Problems that arise in the selection process of acceptance of laboratory assistant at AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar is the absence of tools that can assist management in determining the appropriate candidate laboratory assistant to be the best. By building a system to support the decision of using AHP Algorithm (Analytical Hierarchy Process) is expected to assist the Foundation in conducting the assessment and can be used as input (Reference) by the Foundation to make decisions in selecting the appropriate laboratory assistant candidate accepted. Selection of laboratory assistant acceptance using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) algorithm can yield the best alternative, with criteria in the form of an interview, written test, practice test, and GPA. So the selection of acceptance of laboratory assistants can run exactly and in accordance with the expected.

Abstract

Garbage is unwanted material after the end of a process. Good waste management can create a clean environment and avoid various diseases. understanding of waste management to this day is still widely ignored by the community, many people forget the function of trash cans and prefer to litter. Not only in the community and in the school environment, in the lecture environment there are still many people who are lazy to dispose of garbage in their place because they are lazy to open the lid of the garbage can because it is smelly and dirty. If a small piece of garbage is dumped into a place that is not where it is and is carried out every day by the community then that garbage will eventually accumulate everywhere and will invite disease and even flooding. Therefore, the authors designed an automatic open-lid trash can based on Arduino and IR Sensor in order to make it easier for everyone to dispose of waste. This smart trash can is also equipped with sensors that will detect fires around the trash can. By utilizing Arduino Uno, MG90S Micro Servo, Infrared Sensor, Mq2 sensor and buzzer. Micro Servo MG90S will be used in opening and closing trash cans, Mq2 sensors are used to detect gas leaks or smoke, and Buzzer will be used as a notification if the mq2 sensors detect the presence of smoke and gas leaks in the room. Then enter into making computer programs and describe the code and diagrams. The results obtained from the system test are that the trash can, can open and close automatically and can detect any fire symptoms around it.
