Abstract

Turnover intention is defined as employees’ tendency to leave the organization, either through the desire to seek new employment or by planning to resign. This phenomenon has become an important issue in human resource management, particularly among Generation Z employees who are known to have relatively high job mobility. The research was conducted to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction, self efficacy, and turnover intention. Employing a quantitative framework, 120 Generation Z respondents from Sidoarjo were surveyed through questionnaires,and the results were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS software. The study results indicate that job satisfaction significantly reduces turnover intention. Likewise, self efficacy was proven to have a significant negative impact on turnover intention. In other words, employees with higher job satisfaction and stronger self efficacy are less likely to develop the intention to leave their organization.

Abstract

The success and sustainability of an organization can be determined by one of its factors, namely employee performance. Factors related to employee performance such as work discipline and organizational commitment are the problems in this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and commitment on employee performance at PT Tunggal Djaja Indah. This research method uses a quantitative approach with SmartPLS analysis techniques. The tests carried out include outer model tests, inner model tests, and hypothesis tests. The number of samples used was 56 employees in the production department of PT Tunggal Djaja Indah. The results of the study showed a significant positive effect of work discipline on employee performance, as well as a significant positive effect of organizational commitment on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas strategi  sponsorship dan open booth dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk Telkomsel di Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif komparatif dengan uji statistik Mann-Whitney dan perhitungan matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1)  sponsorship menghasilkan penjualan lebih tinggi dibandingkan open booth, 2) analisis cost ratio mengungkapkan bahwa open booth lebih efisien secara biaya dengan rasio efisiensi 52% lebih baik 3) temuan dari uji statistik Mann-Whitney menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua strategi, akan tetapi effect size termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan kecenderungan  sponsorship lebih unggul dalam peringkat penjualan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa  sponsorship lebih unggul dalam hal volume penjualan, namun open booth lebih efisien dari segi biaya.

Abstract

The progress of a company is strongly determined by the maximum performance of its employees, optimal productivity levels, and the quality of reliable human resources. This research aims to evaluate the extent to which job training, work experience, and work motivation contribute to the improvement of employee performance. This study involved all employees, totaling 55 people at PT RVS, as research subjects, applying a saturated sampling technique in selecting respondents due to the relatively small population size. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey method. Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to all participants, using a Likert scale with a range of 1 to 5 for variable measurement. Data analysis technique was performed with software support using the Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical method. The research findings indicate that job training, work experience, and work motivation significantly have a positive contribution to improving employee performance. The implication of this research is to provide practical recommendations to the management of PT RVS to intensify relevant training programs and strengthen the motivation-based incentive system to maintain and continuously enhance work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of workload and work-life balance on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), with job satisfaction as an intervening variable among teachers at SMP Negeri XYZ Surabaya. Workload and work-life balance are factors that have the potential to affect teachers' job satisfaction and organizational behavior. The research method used is quantitative. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers at SMP Negeri XYZ Surabaya and analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis techniques. The results show that workload does not affect OCB, either directly or through job satisfaction. Meanwhile, work-life balance has a significant effect on OCB, both directly and through job satisfaction. This research contributes to the development of theory and human resource management practices in schools.

Abstract

The increase in life expectancy in Indonesia has led to a rising elderly population, including in Bekasi City. This poses a challenge in ensuring sustainable quality of life for the elderly. This study aims to analyze the influence of retirement readiness, retirement training, and retiree motivation on organizational satisfaction among members of the Indonesian Retired Civil Servants Association (PWRI) in Bekasi City. A quantitative approach was used with proportional stratified sampling involving 80 representatives of PWRI managers at city, sub-district, and village levels. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The findings show that retiree motivation significantly influences organizational satisfaction, while retirement readiness and retirement training do not. Hence, the Bekasi City PWRI and local government should enhance synergy in designing training and empowerment programs tailored to retirees’ interests. Social support should also be reinforced to improve retirees quality of life comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of workload and work-life balance on employee engagement at PT KAI Daop 8 Surabaya. The study was prompted by the importance of employee engagement in supporting organisational performance, which can be influenced by high workloads and the ability to maintain a balance between work and personal life. A quantitative approach was used in this study, employing a survey method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 96 employees selected using simple random sampling. The data analysis method used in this study was Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis to test validity, reliability, and hypotheses. The results revealed that workload had a negative effect, while work-life balance had a positive effect on employee engagement. Simultaneously, both variables had a significant effect on employee engagement. These findings emphasise the need for proportional workload management and the strengthening of work-life balance programmes to improve employee engagement and performance.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peranan penting dalam perekonomian daerah, termasuk di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Namun, banyak UMKM yang menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek pemasaran yang mengakibatkan rendahnya daya saing produk mereka. Program pendampingan bisnis yang diinisiasi oleh BTPN Syariah dalam memberdayakan kapabilitas pemasaran UMKM di Sidoarjo. Pendampingan bisnis dengan pemaparan materi terkait pengembangan usaha dalam aspek pemasaran dan konsultasi individual selama satu bulan membangun kemandirian UMKM dalam mengelola usaha mereka. Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, UMKM di Sidoarjo diharapkan dapat lebih kompetitif dan berkontribusi lebih signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal maupun nasional.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih banyak yang menghadapi tantangan dalam membangun identitas merek yang kuat. Artikel ini membahas program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM nasabah Bank BTPN Syariah di wilayah Mobile Marketing Syariah (MMS) Rungkut terkait branding melalui merek dan logo. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan langsung, dan evaluasi terhadap hasil implementasi branding oleh nasabah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku UMKM yang mengikuti program ini berhasil meningkatkan daya saing produk mereka di pasar melalui penerapan merek dan logo yang lebih menarik, relevan, dan konsisten. Selain itu, program ini juga mendorong pelaku UMKM untuk lebih memahami pentingnya identitas visual sebagai alat komunikasi dengan konsumen. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah bahwa branding melalui merek dan logo dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan UMKM.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) adalah elemen kunci dalam meningkatkan perekonomian daerah dan nasional. Artikel ini membahas implementasi program Bestee oleh BTPN Syariah di Kecamatan Sawahan, Surabaya, yang bertujuan untuk mendukung pemberdayaan UMKM, khususnya perempuan pelaku usaha. Program ini menawarkan pendekatan inovatif melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pemanfaatan aplikasi Kita Bestee. Metode yang digunakan yakni kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, serta survey. Hasil analisis menunjukkan program ini sukses meningkatkan kemampuan pemasaran dan produksi UMKM nasabah, 90% nasabah menjawab survey dengan hasil yang positif. Mereka mengatakan bahwa sangat terbantu dengan adanya program pendampingan ini karena bisa mendapatkan pengetahuan baru dan juga mendapatkan output sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Rata-rata nasabah menghasilkan output berupa media promosi secara offline (banner, brosur, daftar harga). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan yang berkelanjutan dan penggunaan media promosi dalam pemberdayaan UMKM.
