Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to study and analyze the economic effects of high school teachers based on age, gender, and certification that can affect the level of economic literacy. The research method in this research is explanatory survey with hypothesis testing and data collection techniques through testing and questionnaires. The population of the study was 130 economic teachers consisting of 52 schools and a sample of 98 teachers consisting of 30 schools. The collected data is then analyzed using cross tabulation and multiple regression data analysis techniques. The results showed that the level of economic literacy in economics teachers was categorized high. It is known that age variables have the most influence on the economic literacy compared to other variables studied with a coefficient of 0.492. Then other variables that have an influence on the economic literacy are gender variables with a coefficient of 0.291 and sertification variables with a coefficient of 0.199. This finding implies that in order to improve the economic literacy, it is necessary to improve age, gender, and certification. Keywords: Economic literacy, Teachers.

Abstract

The rapid advancements in digital innovation pose significant challenges for human resources practitioners in the financial and banking sectors. Connectivism, a learning theory that emphasizes networks and technology, provides a framework for developing entrepreneurial characteristics in human resources. The demand for adaptive, innovative, and entrepreneurial human resources capabilities is increasingly urgent to navigate the dynamic and competitive business environment. This study aims to assess the impact of connectivism on human resources performance, identify effective implementation strategies, and evaluate the enhancement of organizational competitiveness. The research employs a comprehensive literature review methodology, utilizing qualitative analysis from various academic sources. Findings indicate that connectivism enhances human resources performance by fostering continuous learning, broader knowledge access, and the development of adaptive skills. Additionally, connectivism promotes entrepreneurial characteristics such as innovation, creativity, and risk-taking. Challenges such as resistance to change and the need for significant investment in technology must be addressed. In conclusion, integrating connectivism into human resources development strategies not only improves individual employee effectiveness but also strengthens the organization's competitive position in the rapidly evolving market. Thus, connectivism offers a relevant and effective approach to addressing the challenges faced by human resources in the financial and banking sectors in the current digital era. By leveraging networked learning and technological integration, organizations can better prepare their workforce to meet the demands of an increasingly interconnected and fast-paced business landscape, ensuring sustained growth and innovation.

Abstract

The examination of pedagogy is crucial due to its substantial influence on educational learning frameworks. Digital advancements profoundly affect pedagogical methodologies. Consequently, comprehensive investigations regarding pedagogical research trends in the digital era over the past ten years are essential. A bibliometric analysis seeks to delineate research pertaining to pedagogy within the digital context. Data is sourced from the Scopus database, focusing on educational and digital subjects, specifically through queries of "Pedagogical," "E-learning," and "Education" in English, encompassing published articles. The data extraction yielded 1,996 articles for subsequent analysis. Findings indicate a notable surge in research publications from 2014 to 2024. The United States leads in the volume of publications related to e-Learning pedagogy. VOSViewer facilitates the aggregation of prevalent keywords, revealing four distinct clusters. Prominent keywords identified include "Pedagogy," "E-learning," and "Education”.

Abstract

Bepikir kritis adalah upaya untuk mengumpulkan, menginterpretasi, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi informasi dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan kesimpulan yang dapat diandalkan dan sah. Dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas X.3 SMAN 8 Bandung tahun ajaran 2022/2023, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tentang materi ekonomi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas adalah jenis penelitian ini. Siswa kelas X.3 SMAN 8 Bandung tahun pelajaran 2022/2023, total 36 siswa, adalah subjek penelitian ini. (a) Perencanaan, (b) Tindakan, (c) Observasi, dan (d) Refleksi adalah langkah-langkah dalam proses penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui proses pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL). Hal ini menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yang diukur dengan indikator pra siklus 30%, siklus I 70,%, dan siklus II 89,%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas X.3 semester genap mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMAN 8 Bandung pada materi Sistem Pembayaran dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah.Kata kunci: PBL, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Sistem Pembayaran

Abstract

One of the compulsory courses for prospective teachers in the Teacher Education Program is the Field Experience Program. In the implementation of this Field Experience Program, students are accompanied by Field Supervisors and Mentor Teachers. Field Supervisors and Mentor Teachers are positioned as mentors for prospective teacher students as mentees. It is suspected that Field Supervisors and Mentor Teachers have not carried out their functions as mentors properly. This study aims to identify nine mentor roles in mentoring prospective teacher students, so that it can be analyzed which mentor roles are effective and which mentor roles need to be improved so that in the future the mentoring of prospective teacher Field Experience Programs will be better for producing professional prospective teachers. The findings show that the dominant mentor role of the mentor is the role as a resource person, co-learner, supporter and role as a counselor. There is a difference in the dominant role between field supervisors and mentor teachers, namely that field supervisors are dominant in the role as counselors and co-learner while mentor teachers stand out in the role of role models and supporters. The future outlook for the role of mentors in field experience program assistance still revolves around the nine mentor roles, with an emphasis on improving roles that are still weak.

Abstract

Pedagogic competence plays an increasingly important role in Human Resource Management (HRM) practices, especially in the context of employee training and development. Although this concept is more often associated with formal education, its application in the world of work can make a significant contribution to the development of individuals and organizations. This article aims to examine the concept and application of pedagogic competencies in HRM, as well as the challenges and opportunities that exist in its application. Based on a literature review, this article finds that good pedagogic competence can increase training effectiveness, encourage continuous learning, and create a collaborative and innovative work culture. In addition, this article also discusses recommendations for the development of pedagogic competencies in the context of HRM.

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan pada peran aktif peserta didik, yang dianggap sebagai pelaku utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu teknologi yang relevan dalam konteks ini adalah media sosial TikTok. Media sosial memiliki fitur yang mempermudah proses pembelajaran dan interaksi antara dosen dan peserta didik. Penggunaan media sosial  TikTok, sebagai media pembelajaran memiliki dampak besar pada proses dan hasil pembelajaran, terutama bagi generasi Z yang terbiasa dengan media sosial. Penggunaan media sosial ini sejalan dengan upaya P21 dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. TikTok menjadi platform yang populer dengan lebih dari 500 juta unduhan dan memiliki banyak pengguna di Indonesia. Penggunaan TikTok dalam pembelajaran generasi Z di abad ke-21 terkait dengan literasi digital dan penggunaan media sosial. Dalam konteks ini, konstruktivisme sosial menjadi landasan teori yang relevan. Konstruktivisme sosial menekankan peran interaksi sosial, kolaborasi, dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembentukan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan TikTok sebagai alat komunikasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa di luar sesi kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, studi kasus, dan analisis konten. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 60 mahasiswa Prodi Sistem Informasi FKOM-UNIKU yang mengambil mata kuliah Literasi Teknologi. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mengungkap pengembangan konstruksi sosial mahasiswa melalui penggunaan TikTok dalam pembelajaran, serta efektivitas TikTok sebagai media alternatif untuk konsultasi materi dan tugas mahasiswa. Penggunaan TikTok dalam pendidikan dapat menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik, kolaboratif, dan relevan dengan kehidupan mahasiswa saat ini.

Abstract

Employee dissatisfaction and turnover pose significant challenges in Indonesia, with nearly 7.2 million individuals unemployed as of February 2024. This research explores the factors causing job dissatisfaction and strategies to enhance employee well-being and satisfaction. The study emphasizes the importance of a humanistic management approach that prioritizes individual dignity and well-being in creating a conducive work environment. Categorized as descriptive research with a quantitative approach, this study employs non-probability sampling using the purposive sampling method, with a sample size of 20 individuals. The research also applies multiple linear regression analysis methods, with data processed using IBM SPSS version 26.0. The research findings indicate that job satisfaction (X1) significantly affects organizational success (Y) at Arromanis Corner Store Bandung, while the work environment (X2) does not have a significant impact on organizational success (Y). Therefore, it can be concluded that the variables of job satisfaction (X1) collectively and significantly influence organizational success (Y) at Arromanis Corner Store Bandung.
