Abstract

The intersection of digital economy and education has gained significant academic attention over the past decade, particularly with the increasing influence of artificial intelligence, big data, and platform-based learning. However, a comprehensive understanding of the field's evolution remains limited. This study conducts a bibliometric and systematic review of 201 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2014 and December 2024, retrieved from the Scopus database. The PRISMA framework guided the selection process. Bibliometric performance analysis and science mapping were carried out using VOSviewer, RStudio, Excel, and OpenRefine to explore publication trends, key themes, influential authors, and emerging research fronts. Findings reveal three dominant thematic clusters: technological innovation (e.g., economic growth, energy efficiency), advanced technologies (e.g., AI, big data, e-learning), and human-centered education (e.g., equity, curriculum design, sustainability). The number of publications peaked between 2020 and 2022, correlating with global shifts due to COVID-19 and increased digital adoption. Despite strong research output, underexplored areas remain, such as Industry 4.0, ethical AI use, and smart mobility in education. This study identifies critical gaps and suggests future research directions, including the need for inclusive digital infrastructure, ethical governance of educational AI, and sustainable models of digital transformation. A conceptual framework is proposed to guide interdisciplinary inquiry at the intersection of education and the digital economy.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that the 2019 UKG results were still below standard. The changing times require teachers to be able to integrate technology into the learning process. If this situation continues, it will have an impact on the quality of human resources produced and hinder the ability to keep up with the rapid changes of the times. To produce professional teachers, the process must begin in college (for pre-service teachers), so the abilities of pre-service teachers must be taken into consideration. Studies related to the TPACK profile, especially for pre-service economics teachers, are still rare, so this research is necessary considering that economics is part of social sciences. The population in this study consisted of 58 pre-service economics students at UPI Bandung, using total sampling technique. The method used was quantitative descriptive, where the data obtained was categorized using data tabulation, namely the mean, while the instrument used was a standar instrument adapted from previous research. The results of the study show that the TPK level of pre-service economics teachers is in the good category. Meanwhile, the TCK, TPK, PCK, and TPACK levels of pre-service economics teachers are in the sufficient category. The findings in this study can be used as a basis for educational institutions to design a curriculum that can strengthen TPACK skills, especially for pre-service Pre-service teachers, and provide training that can improve their technological, pedagogical, and content skills.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of beauty influencers, brand image, and awareness of halal certification on Muslim women’s purchasing decisions regarding non-halal certified beauty products, utilizing the Stimulus–Organism–Response (SOR) framework. Data were collected from 290 respondents and analyzed with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The model explains 74.4% of the variance in purchase decisions and 62.7% of the variance in attitude, indicating strong explanatory power. The results reveal that beauty influencers have a significant impact on brand image (β = 0.146, p < 0.01) and attitude (β = 0.072, p < 0.05), while brand image has a strong influence on attitude (β = 0.778, p < 0.001). Attitude has a substantial positive effect on purchase decisions (β = 0.677, p < 0.001) and mediates the impact of beauty influencers on purchasing behavior. In contrast, brand image does not directly influence purchase decisions. Furthermore, awareness of halal certification negatively affects purchasing decisions (β = –0.235, p < 0.001) and weakens the relationship between attitude and purchasing decisions (β = –0.076, p < 0.01). These findings underscore the pivotal role of consumer attitudes in shaping purchase intentions, while also highlighting the significance of halal awareness in the beauty industry. The study suggests that strengthening halal literacy and implementing strategic marketing are essential for enhancing consumer trust and supporting the growth of halal-certified beauty products.
