Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze and find out the speech act that occured in Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’s movie. In this research, the objectives of the research are as follows (1) To analyze the types of indirect speech act uttered by characters in Black Panther : Wakanda Forever Movie. (2) To analyze the illocutionary act of indirect speech act from each utterance that implied in Black Panther : Wakanda Forever Movie. The researcher conducted this research in the library of Slamet Riyadi University. The method that used in this research was qualitative descriptive and data in this research were collected through documentation and observation. The researcher watched the ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ movie several times, read the transcript of the ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ movie, and then marked the dialogue and identified the the types of indirect speech act and the illocutionary act of indirect speech act from each utterance that implied in Black Panther : Wakanda Forever Movie. The findings of the research shows that in ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ movie, there are 74 utterances of indirect speech act. These 74 utterances are divided into two types which is declarative and interogative sentence. There are 52 declarative sentence that were found which consisted with 22 sentence of commanding act, 11 refusing act, 16 suggesting act, and 3 inviting act. As for the interogative sentence, there were 22 sentence consisted of 13 commanding act, 2 refusing act, 4 suggesting act, and 3 refusing act. The researcher analyzed that there were three types of indirect speech act found in ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’ movie which is declarative, interogative, and imperative. Declarative sentence were dominant with 52 sentence gathered from the movie, as for the illucotionary act commanding act were dominant with 35 sentence gathered from the movie. Abstract

This study examines grammatical errors in the translated scripts of Wayang Orang Sriwedari by MBKM Matching Fund students at Universitas Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. Using Dulay et al.’s (1982) Surface Strategy Taxonomy, the analysis focuses on Omission and Misformation errors, which frequently occur in the texts. Omission errors (54 cases) involve missing auxiliary verbs and prepositions, while Misformation errors (52 instances) result from incorrect verb forms and article usage, affecting readability and coherence. By applying content analysis (Miles & Huberman, 1994), this study investigates the causes of these errors, including first-language interference, grammatical unawareness, and overgeneralization of rules. The findings highlight the need for improved translation strategies to enhance grammatical accuracy and text clarity. Keywords: Translation, Error Analysis, Grammatical Error

Abstract

Nelayan Indonesia yang terdata pada Satu Data Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) per 23 Maret 2020 berjumlah 1.459.874 orang. Pada data yang dirilis oleh Ditjen Perikanan Tangkap jumlah kapal di bawah 5 GT sebanyak 115.814 unit, kapal 5-10 GT sebanyak 35.988 unit, kapal 10-20 GT sebanyak 9.790 unit. Berikutnya kapal 20-30 GT sebanyak 6.481 unit, kapal 30-50 GT sebanyak 805 unit, kapal 50-100 GT sebanyak 2.008 unit, kapal 100-200 GT sebanyak 847 unit dan di atas 200 GT ada 11 unit. Dengan data yang ada, bisa dilihat bahwasanya nelayan di Indonesia masih banyak menggunakan kapal kecil sebagai sarana untuk melakukan penangkapan ikan di laut, dan dikategorikan sebagai nelayan kecil. Dalam upaya peningkatan kemandirian masyarakat nelayan untuk membuat kapal kecil berbahan fiberglass, tim pengabdian masyarakat PPNS menggandeng pihak Industri Galangan Kapal fiberglass yaitu PT. Samudra Sinar Abadi (SSA) serta Pihak Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Situbondo, mengadakan pengabdian masayarakat berupa pelatihan bagi nelayan khususnya masyarakat nelayan Kabupaten Situbondo tentang pembuatan kapal kecil berbahan fiberglass yang dilakukan secara online dan offline. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memenuhi standar protokol kesehatan penyelenggaraan kegiatan pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan secara daring yang dapat diakses oleh seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Antusias dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan sangat baik. Ini dapat dilihat dari hasil kuisioner umpan balik (feed back) yang dilakukan oleh peserta secara daring (73 orang) dan luring (15 orang) mendapatkan hasil dimana rata-rata nilai indikator kesesuaian workshop di atas 86%, serta usulan kegiatan lanjutan dengan praktek langsung diatas angka 78%.

Abstract

This qualitative research explores the interplay between brand image, product quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in the context of Bekasi batik products. The study posits that customer satisfaction is a mediating variable between customer loyalty and the independent variables of brand image and quality. Using a simple random sampling technique, data was gathered through questionnaires distributed to 100 customers at a Bekasi Batik shop located within the Bekasi City Government Office Complex, representing a population of 456 people. Data collection occurred in August 2023 at the government office complex in Bekasi city, West Java, Indonesia. The findings highlight the pivotal role of brand image, product quality, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. The research suggests that business owners in the Bekasi Batik industry should reinforce the brand image by fostering trust, incorporating added values, and cultivating prestige. Additionally, enhancing product quality through improvements in appearance, reliability, durability, and overall product attraction is recommended. The study concludes that strengthening the brand image and improving product quality is essential for fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty. These implications underscore the importance of strategic measures for Batik Bekasi businesses to thrive in a competitive market by ensuring customer contentment and building enduring loyalty.

Abstract

Keterampilan memasak di PPA menjadi bagian tidak terlepaskan dari pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di PPA termasuk di PPA Air Hidup IO 935 di Surakarta. Keterampilan ini menjadi bagian tidak terpisahkan dengan bekal Kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sejauh mana peningkatan keterampilan fisik memasak menggunakan metode Experiential Learning pada peserta didik PPA usia besar. Penelitian Kaji Tindak model Kemmis & Mc Taggar dengan 2 siklus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah murid kelompok usia besar. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan lembar tes, lembar observasi dan angket. Instrument yang digunakan adalah skala unjuk kerja guna mengukur keterampilan memasak di PPA. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif guna mengukur keefektifan metode Experiential Learning yang diimplementasikan di kelas besar PPA. Data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis interaktif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode Experiential Learning mampu meningkatkan keterampilan memasak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka bisa dipastikan bahwa metode pembelajaran Experiential Learning efektif jika diterapkan di PPA pada praktik Fisik, terkhusus memasak

Abstract

The selection process for exemplary teachers in vocational schools in Bekasi City has so far been carried out subjectively without a structured system, relying on internal meetings and daily notes, thus causing problems of transparency, accuracy, and efficiency. To overcome this, this study developed an online decision support system (DSS) that makes use of the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) algorithm to create an objective and measurable selection method based on five criteria: discipline, travel costs, personality, teaching administration, and learning achievement. Quantitative methods were applied by collecting data through questionnaires and observations, while the system prototype was designed through the stages of problem analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. The AHP algorithm was used to process the decision matrix, benefit-cost-based normalization, weighting, and pairwise comparisons, with a consistency test (CR =0.044) ensuring the reliability of the results. This system successfully identified Didi Saputra, S.Pdi., as the best exemplary teacher with the highest preference value (0.92), while providing a significant impact in the form of increased accuracy (reducing subjective bias), transparency (clear ranking reports), and efficiency (faster selection process). The research findings demonstrate the effectiveness of AHP as a structured solution for exemplary teacher selection, with potential for adoption by other educational institutions and sustainability through a web-based system.

Abstract

Abstract - The development of information technology has driven digital transformation in various industrial sectors, including the batik home industry. However, the Batik Binar UMKM still faces marketing challenges related to the public's understanding of the philosophy of batik and the use of traditional sales systems. This study aims to design a dynamic and easy-to-use web-based batik sales information system, as well as provide education to the public about batik. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system development used a prototype method that includes the stages of communication, planning, modeling, construction, and evaluation. The results showed that the system was successfully designed with features such as product man-agement, transactions, and reports. Black box testing and user questionnaires showed a system feasibility level of 77.9%, which means it is feasible to implement. This system can support batik marketing more efficiently and effectively.Keywords: batik; information system; prototype method; web-based system; umkm; Abstrak - Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong transformasi digital di berbagai sektor industri, termasuk industri rumahan batik. Namun, UMKM Batik Binar masih menghadapi tantangan dalam pemasaran terkait pemahaman masyarakat tentang filosofi batik dan penggunaan sistem penjualan yang masih tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi penjualan batik berbasis web yang dinamis dan mudah digunakan, serta memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai batik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode prototype yang meliputi tahapan komunikasi, perencanaan, pemodelan, pembangunan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil dirancang dengan fitur seperti manajemen produk, transaksi, dan laporan. Pengujian black box dan kuesioner pengguna menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sistem sebesar 77,9%, yang berarti layak diimplementasikan.
