Abstract

Latar belakang : Obesitas pada usia remaja adalah faktor risiko penyebab penyakit kronis yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan risiko obesitas pada usia dewasa. Prevalensi overweight dan obesitas antara anak-anak serta remaja dengan usia 5-19 tahun mengalami peningkatan cukup tinggi dari 4% pada tahun 1975 menjadi lebih dari 18% pada tahun 2016.Tujuan : Mengetahui efektifitas edukasi gizi dengan media Instagram terhadap pengetahuan, sikap, dan pola makan pada siswa sebagai upaya pencegahan obesitasMetode : Penelitian berjenis True Experimen dan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Masing-masing kelompok memiliki jumlah responden sebanyak 18 siswa. Waktu penelitian selama 17 hari. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu pengetahuan, sikap dan pola makan yang diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner secara langsung. Formulir pengetahuan dan sikap masing-masing terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan. Pola makan menggunakan formulir Food Frequency Questionairre (FFQ). Analisis statistik menggunakan Independent T-test dan Mann-Whitney Test.Hasil : Terdapat pengaruh signifikan edukasi gizi dengan media Instagram terhadap pengetahuan (p = 0,03) dan sikap (p = 0,00). Namun, tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap pola makan (p > 0,05).Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh signifikan edukasi gizi dengan media Instagram terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap (p < 0,05). Namun, tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap pola makan (p > 0,05).

Abstract

Background : Breast milk (ASI) contains all the nutrients a baby needs and contains antibodies. Exclusive breastfeeding can prevent a variety of diseases and can reduce infant mortality. Scope of exclusive breastfeeding in the Ngawen public health center of 42.4%, still lower than the national Minimal Standard Service is 80%. There are determinant factors associated with the success of breastfeeding is exclusive. Methods : Explanatory with cross sectional design. Sampling was systematic random sampling method interval to get a sample of 204 mothers breastfeeding babies 0 - 6 months. Data collected included age, education, parity, employment status, knowledge, attitudes, ways of bonding, difficulty breastfeeding, support her husband, grandmother support, IMD, support health workers, received a package formula, support cadre and access to the formula, obtained using questionnaire with interview. Analysis analytic using chi-square test and Fisher's correlation exact. Results : Factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding is the knowledge (p value 0.000), attitude (p value 0.000), employment status (p = 0.000), difficulty breastfeeding (p = 0.000), the support of her husband (p = 0.000), grandmother support ( p value 0.000), IMD (p = 0.002), the support of health workers (p = 0.047) and access to the formula (p = 0.012). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes, employment status, difficulty breastfeeding, support her husband, grandmother support, IMD, support health workers and acces to the formula with exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Background : Essential hypertension is the hypertension that is often experienced by adolescents (aged 13-18 years). Food sources of potassium has excellent potential to lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure. One of them is a soybean that has a potassium content of 1797 mg / 100 g which can be processed into cookies . Objectives : To determine the effectiveness of soy bean cookies to blood pressure in senior high school students of class X State 10 Semarang Method : The types of research is a true experimental Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. Number of subjects in the study of 20 persons. 10 persons the treatment group and 10 persons control group with a blood pressure of students who otherwise hypertension if ≥90 percentile according to age. This type of treatment given is the provision of a cookie soybean 100g a day , for 7 days. Statistical analysis used is anova repeated measure test. Result : In the treatment group there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after treatment has been controlled with potassium intake (p=0.000). A decrease in blood pressure after the administration of cookies soybeans is systolic blood pressure of 6.7 mmHg from 135.7 ± 5.16 mmHg to be 129± 4.94 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 5 mmHg mmHg of 79.00±8.472 to be 75.00 ± 79.475 mmHg in the treatment group. Conclusion : There is a decrease in the effectiveness of blood pressure with soybean cookies s were statistically significant in Senior High School State 10 Semarang students hypertension. As an alternative choice of functional foods and effective in lowering blood pressure.

Abstract

National Riskesdas in 2013 reached 2.5%. Preliminary research found the prevalence of obesity in class VII and VIII students of Nasima Semarang Middle School at 22.3%.Objective: To determine the relationship between fast food consumption habits and nutritional knowledge with obesity in students of Nasima Semarang Middle School.Research Methods: This type of research is community nutrition with a case control method. The number of research samples was 50 students and 50 control students. The data collected were BB, TB, consumption habits of western fast food, fast food consumption habits, and nutritional knowledge using the interview method using a questionnaire. To find out the relationship between variables used Chi-Square test and Fisher Exact test with 95% confidence level.Research Results: The results of the study showed that the frequency of western fast food consumption bulan 29 times / month in obese samples was 54% while the normal sample was 20%. The frequency of fast food local consumption≥71 times / month in obese samples was 56% while the normal sample was 14%. The level of knowledge of malnutrition in obese samples was 62% while the normal sample was 26%.Conclusion: There is a relationship between the consumption habits of western fast food with obesity (p = 0,000, OR = 4,694), there is a relationship between local fast food and obesity (p = 0,000, OR = 7.82), and there is a relationship between knowledge of nutrition and obesity (p = 0,000, OR = 4.64). It is recommended to carry out regular weight and height weighing and counseling activities related to obesity. In addition, further research is needed to find out other factors that affect obesity such as stress factors, economic factors, and physical activity.

Abstract

Background : The prevalence of obesity for adult women in Indonesia according to the National Riskesdas in 2013 reached 14.8%. Obesity prevalence in Indonesia has increased from year to year. Factors that cause obesity include consumption patterns, lack of physical activity, genetic problems, psychological factors, and social factors.Objective : to determine the relationship between consumption of vegetable fruits and fatty foods with obesity in housewives in Amongrogo Village, Limpung Batang District.Method : This type of research includes community nutrition with cross sectional approaches. The number of research samples is 65 samples of housewives. Data collected were BB, TB, fruit consumption, vegetable consumption, and consumption of fatty foods with the interview method using the Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency questionnaire. To find out the relationship between variables used Chi-Square test and Fisher Exact test with 95% confidence level.Results : the results of the study showed that obesity prevalence in Amongrogo Village was 46.2%. Fruit consumption per day is less than 2 portions, 61.5%. Vegetable consumption per day is less than 3 servings of 70.8%. Consumption of fruits and vegetables is less than 400 grams per day 67.7%. Consumption of fatty foods more than 6 servings per day 83.1%.Conclusion : the results of statistical analysis showed that there was no relationship between fruit consumption and obesity (p = 0.194), there was no correlation between consumption of vegetables and obesity (p = 0.900), there was no relationship between consumption of fruits and vegetables with obesity (p = 0.368) , there is a relationship between consumption of fatty foods with obesity (p = 0.004, RP = 6.56). It is recommended to hold counseling related to obesity and holding joint gymnastics or sports activities.

Abstract

Background  : The healthy breakfast educatuon is the education in school about breakfast to a person or group through the learning practice  techniques. Objective  : This study aims to determine the effect of nutritional education on nutritional knowledge, breakfast frequency, and breakfast energy intake in elementary school students Negeri Beji 01 Semarang Regency. Method  : This research is an experiment with randomized pre-post test design control group design. The sample size is 30 students in the treatment group and 30 students in the control group. They are students of grade 2 to 4 primary school with criteria who do not usually breakfast, not in a state of illness, and willing to be a sample. This study was conducted for one month by providing nutritional education usingpower point media and handouts in the treatment group and handout for control group. Results : The results showed that nutrition education can increase nutritional knowledge by 22.7 point score (95% CI 15.9 – 29.3) and increase breakfast frequency equal to of 0.95 times (95% CI 1.29-0,62)higher than the control group. There is noteffect between nutritional education to breakfast energy intake (β = 48.78). Conclusion  : Nutrition education improves nutritional knowledge and breakfast frequency, but does not increase breakfast energy intakein elementary school students.

Abstract

Background  : Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by an increase in blood glucose (hyperglycemia) due to impaired insulin secretion, insulin work, or both. Results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013, it was found that the prevalence of DM based on doctor's diagnosis and symptoms increased with age, but from age> 65 years tended to decrease.Nutrition therapy is a major component of the success of DM management such as a high-balanced diet of fiber one of them by adding fruit. Foods with high fiber can slow down digestion, absorption of glucose, cause full effects and can increase insulin sensitivity.Objective  : To know  the effectiveness of adding fruit to blood glucose levels (GDS) Diabetisi type 2.Methods  : This research is clinical nutrition research, experimental research with randomized pre and post test group control design. The sample of this study was patient type 2 diabetes in St.Elisabeth Semarang Hospital divided into 2 groups, 18 people as control group and 18 people as treatment group. Differences in the difference between the final GDS levels of the two groups were tested with Chi-Square Test in the hope that Ha was received if p <0.05.Result  : The final GDS result of the control group was 55.6% controlled while the control group was only 22.2% and Chi-Square test results showed  there was a correlation/effect of addition of 3 servings fruit  every day on blood glucose levels with p = 0.04 or p <0.05.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Obesitas yang terjadi ketika remaja dengan kebiasan sering mengkonsumsi makanan padat energi dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik, pada gilirannya  dapat  berdampak hingga dewasa. Prevalensi obesitas remaja di Kota Pekalongan tahun 2019 sebesar 5,5% . Hasil penjaringan kesehatan di tingkat SMA Kota Pekalongan menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi obesitas tertinggi di wilayah Puskesmas Pekalongan Utara yaitu sebesar 13,2%. Tujuan : Mengetahui efektivitas edukasi gizi dengan ceramah dan media e-booklet terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja obesitas di SMA Kota Pekalongan. Metode:  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian gizi masyarakat. Jenis penelitian quasy experimental  dengan rancangan penelitian pretest – posttest control group design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 17 perlakuan dan 17 kontrol. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu pengetahuan, sikap, berat badan dan tinggi badan. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji independet t-test, uji man whitney dan uji regresi linear. Hasil Penelitian : Pengembangan media e-booklet cukup efektif dikarenakan dari segi isi, tampilan, penyampaian pesan e-booklet layak digunakan sebagai media penelitian. Edukasi gizi dengan media e-booklet efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan sebesar 2,21( 95%CI=1,388 – 3,039, p=0,000 ) dan sikap sebesar 0,25( 95%CI=0,091 – 0,408, p=0,003 ) dibandingkan dengan ceramah saja pada remaja obesitas.Kesimpulan : Edukasi gizi dengan ceramah dan media e-booklet efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja obesitas. Kata kunci : pengetahuan; sikap; obesitas; remaja; e-booklet

Abstract

Background : The prevalence of Chronic Energy Malnutrition (CEM) in pregnant mother in Indonesia is still high of 17,3%. Balanced energy-protein food supplementation is an effective intervention to improv nutritional status of pregnant mother. Fish has high protein content with good essential amino acid and minerals especially calcium, potassium, selenium, zinc, iodine and fluorine. So, the need for the development of fish processing product like tiga waja trash fish floss as food supplement for pregnant mother based local food. Objectives : This study aimed to give quantitative description of the nutritional composition of tiga waja trash fish floss, heavy metal content and sensory evaluation.Methods : This research is an experimental study with a repeated measure design. Sensory test data was collected by quota sampling on 15 trained panelists with hedonik quality testing and 25 moderately trained panelists with hedonik tests. Nutrional content analyzed included macro-micronutrients and heavy metal content test. Results : The macronutrients content of tiga waja trash fish floss (100 g) included 24,94% protein, 508,45 kcal, 30,25% fat, 33,11% carbohydrate. Calcium 908,86 mg/100g and  selenium 51,80 mcg/100g  content was indicated in high level. It's also containing good quantities composition of other nutrients such as zinc, omega 6 fatty acids, omega 3 fatty acids, PUFA, MUFA, and SFA. Tiga waja trash fish floss is safe for consumption, it’s no heavy metal contamination. The sensory evaluation of  hedonik test is an effect of spice variation treatment on color (p<0.05), but no effect of spice variation treatment on taste, aroma and texture (p>0.05) the average treatment is accepted in the like category and the most preferred is V4 (Soto). The hedonik quality test was no effect on the quality tiga waja trash fish floss (p>0.05).Conclusion : Tiga waja trash fish floss possessed good quantities of macronutrients, minerals, and unsaturated fat content. It’s can be treated as a  local food supplement for undernourished mothers, with adding other food ingredients to meet the caloric and carbohydrate values.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pemenuhan gizi seimbang sangat penting dikonsumsi dalam upaya meningkatkan dan mencapai status gizi optimal. Adanya kebijakan dari pemerintah dalam mencegah penyebaran virus COVID-19 dengan membatasi pergerakan manusia melalui social distance dan Physical Distancing, menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan gaya hidup remaja seperti peningkatan aktivitas sedentary dan perubahan pola makan yang dapat mempengaruhi perubahan status gizi. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pola makan dan aktivitas sedentary dengan status gizi remaja pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan desain case control. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak sehingga diperoleh 48 sampel. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data identitas, status gizi menggunakan z-score hasil perhitungan BMI/U dengan pengukuran, pola makan menggunakan formulir Food Frekwensi Questionnaire (FFQ) dengan wawancara dan aktivitas sedentary menggunakan Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire (ASAQ) formulir dengan wawancara melalui link google form. Hasil analisis diuji dengan uji Chi square. Hasil: Responden kelompok kasus sebagian besar berjenis kelamin laki-laki (72,7%), sedangkan kelompok kontrol berjenis kelamin perempuan (72,7%). Diet tinggi ditemukan pada kelompok kasus (58,3%). Aktivitas sedentary yang tinggi terdapat pada kelompok kasus (52,4%), aktivitas tertinggi pada aktivitas duduk dan bersantai dengan rata-rata 131 menit/hari. Berdasarkan uji chi square ditemukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola makan (p=0,392), dan aktivitas sedentary (p=1,000) dengan status gizi remaja. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan pola makan dan aktivitas sedentary terhadap status gizi remaja pada masa pandemi COVID-19.
