Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media story book berbasis Android guna meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab lingkungan sekolah pada siswa slow learner. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kesadaran dan kepedulian siswa slow learner terhadap kebersihan dan keteraturan lingkungan sekolah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alat bantu inovatif yang dapat menarik perhatian dan mendukung pembelajaran karakter secara efektif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa aplikasi story book digital dengan ilustrasi menarik, cerita relevan, fitur interaktif, dan umpan balik otomatis. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, serta diuji kepraktisan dan keefektifannya pada siswa slow learner tingkat sekolah dasar.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan sangat valid, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab siswa. Perubahan positif terlihat dalam kebiasaan siswa menyelesaikan tugas, menjaga kebersihan kelas, dan bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Pendekatan multisensori yang digunakan membantu siswa memahami nilai tanggung jawab secara menyeluruh.Kesimpulannya, media story book berbasis Android merupakan solusi inovatif yang efektif dalam pembelajaran karakter bagi siswa slow learner, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Flipping book media in behavioral self-management counseling to improve the discipline of slow learner students. The media is utilized within behavioral counseling services. The research method employed is the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementarion, and Evaluation. The research subjects were slow learner students experiencing difficulties in learning discipline. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The validity test results conducted by media experts, material experts, and practitioners indicate that the web-based flipping book media is feasible and valid for use. Effectiveness analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test shows a significant difference before and after the intervention. Thus, the use of flipping book media in behavioral self-management counseling services is proven effective in improving the discipline of slow learner students.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects in building Indonesia's golden generation. Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, with its concepts of Tri No and Tri Nga, provides a strong foundation for emphasizing the importance of developing a complete Indonesian generation that is cultured, civilized, and of superior quality. This article aims to analyze the role of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophy as the foundation of education in creating Indonesia's golden generation. These concepts will be explained in the context of the Second Principle of Pancasila (Just and Civilized Humanity), which emphasizes the importance of creating diversity awareness and a sense of togetherness. This study uses a literature review approach to explore a deeper understanding of Ki Hajar Dewantara's contribution to education in Indonesia. The combination of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophies results in three important stages in shaping the foundation and character of children's education. Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga educational philosophies are an important foundation for the formation of individuals with character, morals, and the ability to live harmoniously in a diverse society, which is the core of the Second Principle of Pancasila. This philosophy promotes learning that not only enhances academic intelligence but also character development.

Abstract

The ability possessed by mentally retarded students in reading English is still in the low category compared to students in general. In their learning, mentally retarded students need help in the form of media to make it easier for students to understand the material explained by the teacher. One of the media that can be used in learning is a pictorial crossword puzzle. Besides being able to facilitate understanding, crossword puzzles can also make learning activities more fun. This study aims to determine the reading ability of mentally retarded students in learning English before and after the application of pictorial crossword puzzles. This study uses a research method in the form of a quantitative method using a Pre Experimental Design approach in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. For the data collection process using a test instrument in the form of questions. This research was conducted using the subject of students with mental retardation class VII SMPLB . The results showed that with the use of pictorial crossword puzzles, students' English reading skills increased based on the difference in scores obtained at the pretest and posttest. The value obtained during the posttest is greater than the value obtained at the pretest. The conclusion in this study is that the use of crossword puzzles has an influence in improving students' English reading skills. This can be seen through the results of the Wilcoxon test which shows that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji efektivitas media Sequence dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman anak tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SLB Ar Rosyid Sri Sutrisno, Jabon, Sidoarjo, dengan subjek siswa tunarungu pada jenjang sekolah dasar dan menengah yang mengalami kesulitan membaca pemahaman. Media Sequence dikembangkan dalam bentuk rangkaian gambar, teks sederhana, dan simbol visual yang disusun secara sistematis untuk membantu siswa memahami hubungan antarkalimat, struktur teks, dan alur cerita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Sequence yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman bagi anak tunarungu. Penggunaan media ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa secara signifikan, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor tes sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media. Selain itu, media Sequence memperoleh respons positif dari guru dan siswa pada aspek keterbacaan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan efektivitas dalam membantu memahami isi bacaan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of the maternal reflective method in teaching writing for deaf students in inclusive schools. Through a qualitative approach, data were obtained through interviews with three teachers who have experience teaching deaf students at the elementary school level. The findings of the study indicate that these teachers implement the maternal reflective method with various techniques, such as the use of facial expressions, visual media, and word repetition to build deeper understanding. Despite facing challenges related to time constraints in the regular curriculum and lack of understanding from regular teachers, all teachers reported increased student courage in writing as well as a better understanding of sentence structure and self-expression. This study reveals that maternal reflective not only contributes to the development of deaf students' writing skills but also strengthens the emotional relationship between teachers and students, which is an important element in inclusive education. These findings point to the need for systemic support and training for teachers to optimize this approach in inclusive learning.
