Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam menumbuhkembangkan kepercayaan diri siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penilitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan selama dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 20 Tala-tala Sebanyak 16 orang. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi sikap percaya diri siswa pada siklus I kategori  cukup. Sedangkan Siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat menumbuh kembangkan sikap percaya diri siswa dalam pelajaran PKn kelas V SD Negeri 20 Tala-tala.Kata kunci:     Problem Based Learnig; Kepercayaan Diri.

Abstract

This study aims to classify the illocutionary speech acts according to Searle in the dialogue of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Movie, and to find the meaning contained in each illocutionary speech act according to. Searle's classification in the film Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Movie. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method by collecting conversations between characters in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Movie, researching them by looking at and considering the context behind the speech, then interpreting the meaning descriptively. The results of this study were 5 types of illocutionary speech acts according to Searle's classification found in the film sen Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Movie, namely Representatives, Directives, Expressives, Commissives and Declarations. The Directives type serves dominant frequency of all four types of illocutionary speech acts. There were 32 data (48.48%) containing  directives type. The second position was Representatives type. There were  22 data, it was 33,33%. The third position was Expressives  type. There were 9 data (13.63%). The four  position was Commissives  type. There was 1 data, it was 01,51%. The lowest-rank frequency of type of  illocutionary  speech acts are the order Declarations type with 2  data (03.44%).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the nonverbal communication used by the resilient heroine “Elodie” in the film Damsel (2024) directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Used descriptive qualitative combined with content analysis to collecting the data from the Damsel (2024) film with a duration of 1 hour 48 minutes. The data collection technique in this study includes several steps: understanding the theory of nonverbal communication by DeVito, watching the film several times, reading the film script, identifying the nonverbal cues performed by Elodie, making notes and coding the data based on six categories. The aspects of nonverbal communication that are the focus of this study are body messages, facial communication, eye communication, touch communication, silence, and spatial messages and territoriality. Based on the results of data analysis, 55 nonverbal communication cues were found. The first finding is body messages with 4 data (7%), such as gestures and body movement. Second, facial communication with 10 data (18%), including expressions and smiles. Third, eye communication with 13 data (24%), like eye contact and eye avoidance. Fourth, touch communication with 12 data (22%), including emotional and ritual touches. Fifth, silence with 7 data (13%), referring to communicative pauses. And sixth, spatial messages and territoriality with 9 data (16%), such as proxemic distance. Thus, it can be concluded that the film Damsel contains many instances of nonverbal communication, and the most dominant aspect used by the character Elodie is facial communication with 13 occurrences or 24%.
