A qualitative case study design was employed to explore in-depth perspectives from the principal, teachers, and administrative staff. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that transformational leadership fosters a shared vision, strengthens professional commitment, and supports continuous improvement within the institution. Leadership practices such as motivation, individualized support, and collaborative engagement contribute to enhanced instructional quality and more effective organizational processes. Organizational performance is reflected in improved teaching practices, increased student engagement, and structured institutional management. Abstract

This study discusses the role of soft power of school principals through emotional intelligence in resolving internal school conflicts. This issue is important to examine because interpersonal conflicts in schools often disrupt the work and learning climate, while authoritarian approaches are no longer relevant in the era of humanistic leadership. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of emotional strategies of school principals and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of soft power effectiveness. This study employs a qualitative approach using case study methodology, with data collection techniques including participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, analyzed through the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the primary strategies employed by school principals include empathy, dialogic communication, moral exemplary behavior, collective participation, and emotional recognition. Supporting factors include integrity, experience, collective support, and an inclusive organizational culture, while barriers include rigid bureaucracy, lack of emotional training, and low self-reflection. The conclusion of this study indicates that soft power based on emotional intelligence is an effective and strategic approach in building harmony and resolving conflicts in the school environment. These findings contribute to enriching transformative and humanistic leadership practices in the field of education.

Abstract

Islamic Education Management as a discipline continues to evolve in response to educational dynamics and the demands of the times. To remain relevant, strategies are needed to strengthen its scientific construction in an adaptive and sustainable manner. This study aims to explore strategies that can reinforce the foundation of Islamic Education Management, enabling it to address social, technological, and educational policy changes. Using a library research method, this study analyzes various academic literature on the concepts, development, and innovations in Islamic Education Management. The findings indicate that strengthening the construction of this discipline can be achieved through the integration of Islamic paradigms with modern management approaches, curriculum innovation, the enhancement of academic and practitioner competencies, and the utilization of digital technology in Islamic education management. The implications of this study highlight the importance of synergy between theory and practice in shaping Islamic Education Management that is not only based on Islamic normative values but also adaptable to global developments. This study is expected to serve as a reference for academics, education practitioners, and policymakers in designing strategies for the development of a more robust, relevant, and sustainable Islamic Education Management.

Abstract

Abstract

Global educational developments demand that educational institutions adapt their paradigms, methods, and governance to remain relevant and effective. In this context, significant differences emerge between Islamic Education Management (IEM) and Conventional Education Management (CEM), spanning philosophical foundations, goal orientations, and operational practices. This study is designed to identify the characteristics, compare both educational management models, and analyze the opportunities for integration between the two. The research problem covers questions regarding the characteristics of IEM and CEM, their primary differences, and the potential for integrating the modernization of IEM with CEM principles without losing its Islamic value identity. The study employs a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were gathered from textbooks, accredited scientific journals, and related regulatory documents, then analyzed using content analysis and comparative analysis to highlight the similarities, differences, and relevance of integrating both systems. The results indicate that IEM emphasizes the integration of spiritual values, prophetic leadership, and the goal of shaping insan kamil (the holistic human being), whereas CEM is oriented toward efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and graduates' readiness to face industrial demands. Comparative analysis reveals that integrating IEM and CEM through the adoption of technology and modern management principles can enhance the quality of Islamic education without sacrificing religious values. These findings offer a balanced managerial framework between moral-spiritual values and the organizational effectiveness of modern education.
