Abstract

The abilities of an institution, including an university, to accept, respond and adapt to a change becomes an important aspect to be survive. By having those abilities, it can be seen that some university cannot only be survive but also greatly develop, forexample IAIN Tulungagung. However, some universities still cannot show their progress. In other words, the change of their status does not lead them to significantly develop. The study is intended to explore deeply about the organization status change of an Islamic university ( A Case Study at IAIN Tulungagung). The focus of the study refers to the following two aspects, they are (a) how is the process of organization change at IAIN Tulungagung?, and (b) how is the model of management employed at IAIN Tulungagung after its organization change? Abstract

One of the most serious and frequent problems that afflict individuals and members of the organization is the issue of conflict and stress. No exception in Islamic educational institutions, there must be turmoil or conflict, both individual conflict and group conflict. Because humans as social beings always be associated with fellow human beings. In addition, problems often occur in life sometimes make the individual feel burdened and become stressed. Stress is a difficult thing to avoid, but that does not mean it cannot be overcome. Not all principals have the ability to resolve conflicts and stress well, even without sufficient experience to be missteps, and instead engage in conflicts, or worse, precisely the stressed principal facing the problem at the institution his leads.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze the influence of occupational stress on the workmanship of employees of IAIN Kendari.This research uses a quantitative approach through causal research. The population of this research is all of IAIN Kendari employees. The total population in this study was 123 people consisting of officers and lecturers who had additional administrative tasks ranging from rectorate level to study program. Determination of the number of samples in this study using the Slovin formula. From the results of the calculation obtained a sample amount of 94 peoples. The results showed that there was a negative impact on work stress on the productivity of IAIN Kendari employees with a coefficient of determination of-0.182 or had an influence of 18.2%. This gives the meaning that working stress will negatively affect the working productivity of IAIN Kendari employees. The results of this research implicates the leadership of IAIN Kendari if they want to increase employee productivity in the form of targets achieved, accuracy of completing work, quality of work, and efficiency of resource utilization by employees can is done by the work of working stress at the employee's level of individuals, groups, and organizations.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to explain the conception of leadership and the development of leadership capabilities in Islamic education institutions both formal and non-formal. Leaders are an important element in the process of managing educational institutions, for that leader in Islamic educational institutions are expected to continue to be able to develop their abilities. To develop their abilities, at least a leader must know the potential associated with the ability of the leader and know how to develop it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis eksistensi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Gogodeso, Kanigoro dan SDN Sananwetan Kota Blitar. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multikasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi berperanserta, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengecekan kredibilitas data dengan teknik triangulasi, data yang terkumpul diorganisir, ditafsir, dan dianalisis secara berulang-ulang, baik melalui analisis dalam kasus maupun analisis lintas kasus guna menyusun konsep dan abstraksi temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama masyarakat ikut memikirkan kondisi lingkungan akademik dan non akademik pada sekolah dasar tersebut dengan berpartisipasi dalam pengadaan buku-buku pengayaan, yang judul maupun isi bukunya menarik dan menambah wawasan pengetahuan bagi anak, kedua masyarakat bermusyawarah dengan sekolah untuk mengurangi sampah plastik dengan mendirikan kantin sehat dan kantin jujur. Jajanan yang dijual di dalam kantin tidak boleh dibungkus dengan plastik maupun dibungkus dengan daun. Di sekolah ini anak-anak dilarang njajan selain di kantin sehat dan kantin jujur tersebut dan masyarakat ikut membantu memikirkan dan menyediakan menu sehat untuk anak-anak, ketiga Jum’at bersih dilakukan oleh sekolah bersama-sama dengan masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat, dan membantu membuat taman sekolah supaya lingkungan kelihatan indah dan hijau, dan kelima fihak kelurahan setempat ikut membantu mengkondisikan lingkungan bersih, hijau dan sehat dengan membuatkan bipori dan sumur resapan, pada taman-taman yang telah dibuat oleh sekolah bersama dengan masyarakat.

Abstract

Elementary schools  are designed to provide students with  foundations of intelligence, knowledge, personality, and life skills as well as to prepare them to pursue higher education. The involvement of society in school development in important since education is an inseparable part of the  society . The articals in order to be self-supporting andcontinue to the next level of education. Social involvement indeveloping schools is a proper thing due to education is a part of the social life essence. The society is not only concerned in education, but also tried to improve quality in order to create social roles through participations in educationa inschool developmentl institution. This research used qualitative approach and to collect the data used deep interview, partisipant observation and documentation. The present research was conductedto investigate the role of the society in two islamic primary schools and islamic elementary school in Blitar Regency, each of which had different characteristics. The research focused on investigating (a) the role of external stakeholder in developing education, school committee, class associations,busness world and industry, ex study and other agency (b) the role of external stakeholder in developing school equipment, help power, thought and ingredients. (c)  the role of the stakeholder eksternal in improving the quality of education, non academic through supervisor and evaluation.

Abstract

Abstract. Educational discrimination often occurs in people's lives. This is influenced by the distinction that appear from the community itself. This distinction can be seen from the perspective of the community to educational rights of men and women. The main factors that influence the emergence of discrimination against the right to education include normal or traditional rules that kill the character of women, the physical form of women, the economic pace, misinterpretation of religious teachings, and cultural beliefs that grow in the lives of rural communities. This requires a maximum effort in aligning the paradigm between rural communities and communities by involving religious teachings as supporters of the realization of equal educational rights for men and women. By using exploratory-descriptive eruption studies, it results in findings that the viewpoints related to equality of education rights of men and women are divided in two. First, the viewpoint of the community which encompasses patriarchal culture, humanism, economics, and education. Second, the viewpoint of the Hadith and the Al-Qur'an. Abstrak. Diskriminasi pendidikan kerapkali terjadi di dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh distingsi yang muncul dari masyarakat itu sendiri. Distingsi itu dapat dilihat dari sudut pandang masyarakat terhadap hak pendidikan laki-laki dan perempuan. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi munculnya diskriminasi terhadap hak pendidikan meliputi normal atau aturan tradisional yang membunuh karakter perempuan, bentuk fisik perempuan, laju ekonomi, penafsiran yang salah terhadap ajaran agama, serta keyakinan budaya yang tumbuh dalam kehidupan masyarakat pedesaan. Hal ini membutuhkan usaha maksimal dalam penyelarasan paradigma antara masyarakat pedesaan dan masyarakat perkotaan dengan melibatkan ajaran agama sebagai pendukung terhadap realisasi kesetaraan hak pendidikan laki-laki dan perempuan. Dengan menggunakan studi leterasi berupa eksploratif-deskriptif, mengahasilkan temuan bahwa sudut pandang terkait kesetaraan hak pendidikan laki-laki dan perempuan dibagi dua. Pertama, sudut pandang masyarakat yang meliputi budaya patriarki, budaya humanisme, ekonomi, dan edukasi. Kedua, sudut pandang perspektif hadits dan Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Abstract: The effectiveness of the organization in Islamic higher education institutions is a community demand and need that cannot be negotiated. Therefore Islamic universities are obliged to manage their institutions to produce smart, skilled, civilized and cultured students. Education not only seeks to improve knowledge, but also can produce scientists and intellectuals who have faith, devotion, and personality. Organizations in Islamic higher education institutions discuss the implementation of leading and controlling in Islamic higher education institutions, the implementation of decision making and policy making of Islamic higher education institutions and the implementation of internal and external evaluators in assessing student achievement. Researchers make improvements. There are several possibilities that must be considered, namely the availability of adequate time allocation, rationalization of additional employees and / or equipment, sufficient time allocation for managers to make management improvements and the extra effort of all existing components. These Islamic higher education institutions tend to look more oriented and focused on education and its processes. Educational inputs such as infrastructure, and the curriculum and processes, are very important for one's success in learning, but this is not enough. Therefore, to improve the situation above, the effectiveness of educational organizations in Indonesia must now begin to focus on controlling the quality of graduates.
