Abstract

The main problem facing education today is the low quality of human resources and the inability of educational actors to keep up with the progress of science and technology in the era of globalization. Quality competition is something that is very urgent that must be met by schools, therefore what needs to be done is to improve the quality of human resources. The quality of human resources can be seen from the intellectual, spiritual, creativity, morality and responsibility aspects. Writing this article aims to find out the principal's strategy in improving teacher competence in terms of pedagogical, professional, personal and social competence. This article uses the literature study method. The results of the research show that the principal's strategy is to improve teacher competence through empowerment carried out by educational supervisors.

Abstract

This journal describes "Analysis of Principal Strategies in Improving Education Quality". The implementation of strategic management carried out by a school principal is an important thing that must be implemented so that educational institutions have a direction and innovation to achieve the desired goals effectively and efficiently. Therefore it is necessary to have an analysis that must be taken in deciding a strategy. The focus of discussion in this journal is; 1) The concept of educational strategic management, 2) Criteria and strategic management techniques, 3) Standards for improving the quality of education, 4) Analysis of the Principal's Strategy in improving the quality of education. The purpose of writing this scientific journal is; 1) Knowing the concept of strategic management, 2) Knowing the criteria and techniques of strategic management, 3) Knowing the standards for improving the quality of education, 4) Knowing the analysis and strategic role of school principals in improving the quality of education. This journal uses the method of library analysis, namely by utilizing library resources to obtain theories and limiting activities only to library collection materials and other factual references..

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena yang mengatakan bahwa pendidikan harus dikelola dengan manajemen strategik. Pemilihan manajemen strategik diharapkan akan menghasilkan manajemen yang baik untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Kalidawir. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan teknik dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perencanaan stategik SMAN 1 Kalidawir yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan, pembentukan tim perumus visi dan misi, perencanaan jangka panjang dan pendek, peningkatan mutu pembelajaran, bekerjasama dengan lembaga luar dan peningkatan mutu pendidik. Implementasi dilaksanakan sesuai perencaan stategik dengan adanya tim perumus visi dan misi, telah tersusun perencanaan panjangn dan pendek, peningkatan mutu pembelajaran berjalan baik, tertib dan efisien, kerjsama program Double Track dengan ITS, dan mengadakan wokshop serta MGMP untuk tenaga pendidik. Evalusi dilaksanakan dengan rapat dinas, rapat kepala sekolah dengan komite, rapat kepala sekolah dengan wakil kepala sekolah, rapat kepala sekolah dengan komite dan wakil kepala sekolah dan rapat kepala sekolah dengan guru.

Abstract

Kehidupan manusia telah memasuki era globalisasi, era dimana lembaga pendidikan Islam dihadapkan dengan berbagai tantangan yang krusial, oleh karenanya lembaga pendidikan Islam sejatinya memerlukan inovasi-inovasi baru agar dapat menyiapkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang handal sekaligus tanggap dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut dengan langkah yang cerdas dan inovatif, salah satunnya yaitu melalui pengembangan kurikulum. Artikel ini dikaji dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan terkait model manajemen kurikulum terpadu dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan madrasah, khususnya madrasah yang berada dibawah naungan pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MA Al-Rosyid Bojonegoro dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, tehnik pngumpulan datanya yaitu menggunakan tehnik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan uji keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dan pengujian transferability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam mencapai mutu pendidikan madrasah di era zaman yang semakin berkembang ini, MA Al-Rosyid Bojonegoro menerapkan model kurikulum terpadu antara kurikulum kementrian Agama dengan kurikulum Kulliyatul Mu’allimin al-Islamiyah (KMI), yang mana dalam pengimplementasiannya lembaga tersebut menfokuskan pada tiga tahapan fungsi manajemen, meliputi; pertama, perencanaan kurikulum KMI; kedua, pelaksanaan kurikulum KMI; dan ketiga, evaluasi kurikulum KMI.

Abstract

One of the most serious and frequent problems that afflict individuals and members of the organization is the issue of conflict and stress. No exception in Islamic educational institutions, there must be turmoil or conflict, both individual conflict and group conflict. Because humans as social beings always be associated with fellow human beings. In addition, problems often occur in life sometimes make the individual feel burdened and become stressed. Stress is a difficult thing to avoid, but that does not mean it cannot be overcome. Not all principals have the ability to resolve conflicts and stress well, even without sufficient experience to be missteps, and instead engage in conflicts, or worse, precisely the stressed principal facing the problem at the institution his leads.

Abstract

Elementary schools  are designed to provide students with  foundations of intelligence, knowledge, personality, and life skills as well as to prepare them to pursue higher education. The involvement of society in school development in important since education is an inseparable part of the  society . The articals in order to be self-supporting andcontinue to the next level of education. Social involvement indeveloping schools is a proper thing due to education is a part of the social life essence. The society is not only concerned in education, but also tried to improve quality in order to create social roles through participations in educationa inschool developmentl institution. This research used qualitative approach and to collect the data used deep interview, partisipant observation and documentation. The present research was conductedto investigate the role of the society in two islamic primary schools and islamic elementary school in Blitar Regency, each of which had different characteristics. The research focused on investigating (a) the role of external stakeholder in developing education, school committee, class associations,busness world and industry, ex study and other agency (b) the role of external stakeholder in developing school equipment, help power, thought and ingredients. (c)  the role of the stakeholder eksternal in improving the quality of education, non academic through supervisor and evaluation.

Abstract

Conflict is inevitable in the world of education. The existence of conflict can have both positive and negative impacts. Handling conflicts with fast and appropriate strategies will have a positive impact on the institution. This study aims to determine the form of conflict that occurs as well as the methods and styles of handling conflicts carried out by the head of the madrasah. This research is qualitative research with the type of case study. The type of conflict that occurs in MI al Urwatul Wutsqo is the type of conflict between the head of the madrasa and the teacher, interpersonal conflict is the conflict that occurs between teachers. Conflict management between madrasah heads and teachers is carried out by deliberation and consensus, voting and inviting foundation administrators to provide solutions. Handling conflicts between teachers is carried out in a collaborative style through three stages, namely 1) the head of the madrasah identifies the cause of the conflict, 2) understands well the conflict that is happening. 3) Resolve conflicts by bringing in conflicting parties.

Abstract

The implementation of professional teacher development in Indonesia has been lacking. Many teachers continue to underperform, as evidenced by their workplace behaviors that violate the ethics of their profession. Workplace culture has contributed significantly to, and been detrimentally affected by, this lack of professionalism. Using a qualitative approach, this study seeks to explore the forms, factors, and implications of these challenges for the management of workplace culture. Teachers are simultaneously the objects and key informants of this research, which was conducted through observation of secondary-level madrasas spread throughout Bengkulu Province, Indonesia, as well as interviews with 15 teachers. This study identifies three main challenges: i) teachers have difficulty accessing professional training; ii) teachers cannot readily continue their educations; and iii) teachers have trouble writing and publishing academic works. These challenges are caused by a multitude of factors, primarily the lack of the funding, facilities, and infrastructure for professional development, as well as teachers limited digital literacy, and result in a workplace culture where initiative goes unrewarded, discipline is lacking, and teachers are unmotivated. As such, this study recommends significant improvements to the structure, culture, and infrastructure of educational institutions, thereby allowing teachers to overcome the challenges that hinder their professional development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe analysis of internal and external environment of SDIT Al-Azhaar in facing the era of disruption, in order to survive. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, semi-participant observation, and documentation. The analysis techniques used include data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate: 1) SDIT's internal environment analysis consists of competency aspects in the form of quality educational institutions that are already good, core competencies in the form of SDIT Al-Azhaar's contribution to Trenggalek district by sending students to competitions, resource aspects dominated by teachers with graduates S1, and BOS funding which can be said to be large enough to optimize existing learning activities, 2) external environmental analysis, namely SDIT Al-Azhaar always seeks to collaborate with existing stakeholders, establish cooperation with external organizations, have a role and support local government towards SDIT Al-Azhaar in increasing school quality competition, 3) efforts to strengthen the internal environment are carried out at SDIT Al-Azhaar by utilizing digital-based learning media, each educator is given insight regarding the use of technology, communicating with guardians using smartphone media, 4) strengthening The external environment is carried out by holding periodic socialization with the community and stakeholders, using media for promotional activities and updating activities within the school scope, using technology in the facilities and infrastructure used. This strengthening effort was carried out as a preparation for students to be able to face the era of disruption.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of education. The leadership of Islamic education is no exception, which faces challenges as well as opportunities in carrying out its role in the midst of digitalization. The aim of this research is to describe the Transformation of Islamic Education Leadership, Challenges for Islamic Education Leadership and Opportunities for Islamic Education Leadership in the Digital Era. This research uses an approach literature review. The data source for this research comes from Google Scholar, ChatGPT, You.com, Copilot and Educational Management journal database. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis to examine the relationships and implications of the findings. The results of the analysis are then synthesized and interpreted to draw conclusions. The results of this research explain that Islamic education leaders must be able to integrate digital technology with the curriculum, maintain Islamic values, handle the digital divide and overcome resistance to change. Apart from that, infrastructure development and continuous training for educators are important to ensure the success of the transformation. The digital era also offers great opportunities to expand the reach and improve the quality of Islamic education, through access to resources, distance learning, international collaboration, use of social media, e-learning platforms, data analysis and artificial intelligence. So visionary and adaptive Islamic education leadership is needed to take advantage of opportunities and create an Islamic education system that is inclusive, effective and relevant.
