Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develoved an Interactive Media on basic computers and networks Subjects and test whether the media can better improve the basic computers and networks. A four-D Research and Development (R & D) study had been applied to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Interactive Media inteaching basic computers and networks. The steps consisted of define; design; develop; and disseminate. The testing for content validity of the Interactive Media was found valid. Based on the teachers and the students response on the practicality, it was found that this media was found highly practical. Based on the learning outcomes the effectiveness of the media was found effective. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the Interactive Media can better improve the students' learning outcome on the basic computers and networks for Grade X at SMKN 5 Batanghari.

Abstract

The rapid progress of information technology can no longer be stopped, one of its forms is the internet. The internet has an extraordinary magnet in human life, able to attract people in the suburbs to big cities, from young people to old people who cannot be separated from its magnetic pull. Internet users by the community need to get deeper supervision and direction so that the internet can be used as a means of education and da'wah, so that the use of the internet becomes a form of task fulfillment activity that is more focused and positive productive. Therefore, community service activities in Taman Agung, Bathin III , Bungo, Jambi Province are considered important. The activity is carried out in the following stages: 1) preparation of the required documents, 2) establishing friendship with the community, 3) introducing the concept of internet use to the community, and 4) lecturing, discussion and question and answer. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) the required documents are completed according to plan, 2) the community welcomes the arrival of the team, 3) the community is very enthusiastic in receiving an explanation of the concept of internet use from the presenters, 4) the community gets knowledge about the users Atan internet as a means of education and preaching and the community is very satisfied and wants this activity to be held sustainably. Abstract

Constructivism serves as a basic theory in education, and plays an important role, because this perspective views learning as a dynamic process in which students actively participate in constructing their knowledge. So, this research aims to produce a virtual laboratory that is valid and effective in developing constructivist thinking. This research and development use the Ploom approach which consists of initial investigation, design, construction/realization, testing, evaluation, revision, and implementation. Thirty-two electrical engineering students from Padang State University participated in this research. The instruments used are validity instruments and constructivism assessment tools. The research results show that the Proteus-based virtual laboratory developed is valid and effective in fostering constructivist thinking in electrical measurement practice. This study contributes to the advancement of virtual laboratories in educational settings, emphasizing the importance of constructivist pedagogy for meaningful and engaging learning experiences in the field of electrical engineering. The results of this research open opportunities for further research regarding the exploration of artificial intelligence to improve constructivism through virtual laboratories.

Abstract

Technological innovation in education is necessary to increase the quality of learning by utilizing specialized media. One of the efforts made by educators is to use e-modules in learning. E-modules are digital media containing text, video, audio, and animation, which are combined according to the learning needs of students/students. This research was conducted to describe the practicality of using e-modules for teachers/lecturers and students/students. In this study, ten articles were sampled regarding the use of e-modules. Based on the research results, it is known that the average practical value of using e-modules for teachers is 90.63 in the convenient category, while the average practical value of students is 87.09 in the applicable category. Based on the results of a review of the use of the developed e-module, it is included in the practical category so that the e-module can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas Trainer Mikrokontroller dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran praktik Mikrokontroller. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran adalah kurangnya alat bantu yang dapat memberikan pengalaman praktik langsung, mudah diakses, dan dengan biaya yang terjangkau, hal tersebut menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan berbasis ADDIE model yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis, desain, coding, testing, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan dua ahli media yang berperan dalam validasi Trainer, serta 38 mahasiswa Teknik Listrik Universitas Negeri Padang yang mengikuti uji coba Trainer. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test motivasi, dengan analisis menggunakan gain skor untuk mengukur peningkatan motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Trainer Mikrokontroller yang dikembangkan valid dan efektif, terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dengan rata-rata gain skor sebesar 61%, yang dikategorikan sebagai cukup efektif. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan Trainer Mikrokontroller dapat menjadi solusi praktis dan ekonomis dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan efisien, khususnya dalam pembelajaran praktik Mikrokontroller di pendidikan vokasi. Trainer ini juga berpotensi digunakan lebih luas untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di berbagai konteks pendidikan teknik dan sains.

Abstract

Civic engagement berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila berperan penting dalam membangun kesadaran konstitusional yang dapat mewujudkan warga negara yang baik dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan civic engagement berbasis Pancasila dalam membangun kesadaran konstitusional guna menciptakan warga negara yang baik dan berkelanjutan. Civic engagement, yang mencakup partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam kehidupan politik dan sosial, merupakan elemen penting dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang demokratis dan berkeadilan. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini menggali berbagai teori, penelitian sebelumnya, serta pandangan ahli mengenai hubungan antara civic engagement, Pancasila, dan kesadaran konstitusional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa civic engagement yang dibangun atas nilai-nilai Pancasila tidak hanya mendorong partisipasi warga negara dalam kehidupan publik, tetapi juga memperkuat kesadaran konstitusional. Hal ini penting dalam membangun tatanan masyarakat yang demokratis, di mana warga negara tidak hanya memiliki hak, tetapi juga memahami tanggung jawabnya. Kesadaran konstitusional berbasis Pancasila memungkinkan terciptanya keseimbangan antara hak individu dan kepentingan kolektif, yang pada akhirnya mendukung keberlanjutan sosial dan politik. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan pendidikan civic engagement berbasis Pancasila dalam kurikulum pendidikan formal dan non-formal untuk membentuk generasi yang sadar hukum, kritis, dan berdaya saing dalam menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru MGMP Teknik Ketenagalistrikan Sumatera Barat dalam pengembangan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Sites. Kegiatan ini dirancang dalam bentuk workshop yang berlangsung selama tiga hari dan melibatkan 30 guru dari berbagai sekolah menengah kejuruan di Sumatera Barat. Materi pelatihan mencakup pengenalan dasar-dasar Google Sites, cara membuat dan mengelola konten pendidikan, integrasi dengan alat bantu pembelajaran lainnya, serta praktik terbaik dalam penggunaan LMS untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa para peserta mampu mengembangkan LMS yang interaktif dan mudah digunakan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola proses belajar mengajar secara digital. Melalui workshop ini, diharapkan para guru dapat mengimplementasikan LMS berbasis Google Sites di sekolah masing-masing, sehingga dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini memiliki tujuan (1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Festo Fluidsim. (2) Mengetahui Kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Menggunakan Aplikasi Festo Fluidsim (3) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa Kelas X Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor di SMK Muhammadiyah Berbah terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Festo Fluidsim sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video pembelajaran dan model video tutorial yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu Analisys (analisis), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), Evaluation (evaluasi).Subjek dalam penelitian terdiri dari Ahli Media, Ahli Materi dan siswa Kelas X jurusan Otomotif dengan program keahlian Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor (TBSM).Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kelayakan penggunaan media pembelajaran video tutorial menggunakan aplikasi Festo Fluidsim pada standar kompetensi Pneumatik Hidrolik mendapatkan hasil yang layak berdasarkan uji kelayakan oleh ahli media yang mendapatkan skor 80% dan rata-rata skor 4. 0, ahli materi mendapatkan skor 84,25% dan rata-rata skor 4,2, dan respon siswa yang diperoleh dari 2 kelompok kecil dan besar yaitu, Respon siswa kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor 81,67% dan rata-rata skor 4,1, respon siswa kelompok besar mendapatkan skor 83,84% dan rata-rata skor 4,2. Dari data hasil skor tersebut maka media video pembelajaran dan video tutorial layak untuk digunakan dan dikembangkan.

Abstract

Free school lunch policies have been shown to improve student health and well-being in many countries. However, the implementation of these policies in low- and middle-income countries faces significant challenges, including logistical issues, budget constraints, and coordination among stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by countries that have already implemented free lunch programs, with a focus on the lessons learned by Indonesia in preparing a similar policy. This research is a literature review, utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. The study focuses on the 10 highest-cited articles from the Scopus database published between 2019 and 2024 that discuss the implementation of free lunch programs in various countries. Document analysis was employed to extract and synthesize key challenges and solutions. Findings show that the main challenges include difficulties with food distribution in remote areas, lack of sustainable budgets, and suboptimal coordination between the government and schools. The implications of the study highlight the importance of strengthening logistics infrastructure and improving coordination across sectors in Indonesia to ensure smooth implementation of the school lunch policy. Future research needs to focus on the long-term impact of the lunch program on academic achievement and innovative logistics models that can be adapted for remote areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates energy efficiency challenges during laboratory activities. Inefficient energy use in the practicum phase remains a critical issue, prompting the exploration of innovative forecasting models. This research employs artificial neural network (ANN) models integrated with principal component analysis (PCA) to predict energy consumption and optimize usage. The findings reveal that PCA components, including eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and matrix covariance values, significantly influence the ANN model's performance in forecasting energy production. The ANN training achieved a high correlation coefficient (R=1) with a mean squared error (MSE) of 0.045931 after 200,000 epochs, demonstrating the model's robustness. While testing results showed a moderate correlation (R=0.46169), the models demonstrated potential for refinement and scalability. This integration of ANN and PCA models provides a reliable framework for accurately forecasting energy usage, offering an effective strategy to enhance energy efficiency in laboratory settings. By optimizing energy consumption, this approach has the potential to reduce operational costs and environmental impact. The strong performance metrics highlight the practical utility of these models in educational contexts, contributing to sustainable energy management and better resource allocation. Furthermore, the reduction in energy-related environmental impacts underscores the broader applicability of these models for fostering sustainable development in similar contexts.
