Abstract

This research aims to discover: (1) The influence of teacher perceptions about educational standards on teacher performance. (2) The principal's leadership style influences teacher performance. (3) The influence of teachers and the principal's leadership style on teacher performance. This research focuses on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) in West Tulang Bawang Regency, Lampung. This research method includes correlational/associative with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires and documentation. First, the regression analysis calculated t value reached 2.594, exceeding the t table value of 0.320 with a significance of 0.014, lower than 0.05. In addition, the teacher's perception of educational standards (R Square) is 0.157, showing that the principal's leadership can explainaround 15.7% of teacher performance. Second, the regression analysis calculated t value for teacher perceptions reached 3.583, exceeding the t table value of 0.320, with a significance value of 0.001 which is less than 0.05. Third, the magnitude of the influence of teacher perceptions on educational standards is (R Square) 0.263, which indicates that around 26.3% of teacher performance can be explained by teacher professionalism. Third, with the calculated F regression results of 9.437, greater than the value of 3.27, with a significance value of 0.001, less than 0.05. In addition, the influence of teachers' perceptions of educational standards and principals' leadership styles (R Square) of 0.350 indicates around 35% of variation in teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran zakat dan sedekah dalam mendukung pemberdayaan inklusif serta mengidentifikasi kendala dalam pengelolaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa zakat dan sedekah memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama dalam mendukung akses ekonomi, pendidikan, dan kesehatan bagi kelompok-kelompok marginal. Zakat dan sedekah berpotensi untuk memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat miskin melalui bantuan usaha produktif, penyediaan modal usaha, dan pembiayaan pendidikan serta layanan kesehatan. Namun, pengelolaan zakat dan sedekah menghadapi sejumlah kendala, seperti kurangnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas lembaga pengelola, distribusi yang tidak merata, serta pemahaman masyarakat yang terbatas mengenai peran zakat dalam pemberdayaan. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan zakat dan sedekah, penguatan infrastruktur dan sistem manajemen lembaga pengelola, serta kampanye edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya zakat dalam pemberdayaan inklusif. Kolaborasi antara lembaga pengelola zakat, pemerintah, dan sektor swasta juga diusulkan untuk memperluas jangkauan distribusi dan memastikan bahwa dana zakat dan sedekah sampai kepada penerima yang tepat. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, zakat dan sedekah dapat lebih maksimal dalam mendukung pemberdayaan inklusif yang berkelanjutan. This study aims to analyze the role of zakat and sedekah (alms) in supporting inclusive empowerment and identify obstacles in its management. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The results of the study indicate that zakat and sedekah have an important role in improving community welfare, especially in supporting economic, educational, and health access for marginalized groups. Zakat and sedekah have the potential to empower the economy of poor communities through assistance for productive businesses, provision of business capital, and financing of education and health services. However, the management of zakat and sedekah faces a number of obstacles, such as the lack of transparency and accountability of the managing institutions, uneven distribution, and limited public understanding of the role of zakat in empowerment. To overcome these obstacles, this study recommends increasing transparency and accountability in the management of zakat and sedekah, strengthening the infrastructure and management systems of the managing institutions, and educational campaigns to the public about the importance of zakat in inclusive empowerment. Collaboration between zakat management institutions, the government, and the private sector is also proposed to expand the reach of distribution and ensure that zakat and sedekah funds reach the right recipients. With these steps, zakat and alms can be more effective in supporting sustainable inclusive empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi pengembangan agrowisata kopi di Lampung Barat sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan perekonomian lokal sekaligus mendukung keberlanjutan. Meskipun Lampung Barat dikenal sebagai salah satu penghasil kopi terbaik di Indonesia, pengembangan agrowisata di wilayah ini masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kurangnya promosi, dan partisipasi masyarakat yang minim. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan agrowisata kopi dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan agrowisata kopi berpotensi meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat melalui peningkatan pendapatan, penciptaan lapangan kerja, serta pelestarian budaya dan lingkungan. Untuk itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang mendukung penguatan sumber daya manusia, pengembangan infrastruktur, promosi yang efektif, dan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengembangan agrowisata di Lampung Barat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah, masyarakat lokal, dan investor dalam merancang kebijakan dan program yang lebih efektif untuk pengembangan agrowisata kopi yang berkelanjutan di wilayah ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis sumber daya lokal melalui pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dapat mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1, yaitu penghapusan kemiskinan. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, peneliti menggunakan Google Scholar untuk mengumpulkan literatur relevan, mencakup analisis ABCD, studi kasus, dan kontribusinya terhadap SDG 1. Data diolah melalui langkah-langkah dengan teori Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan secara sistematis.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) adalah metode pemberdayaan masyarakat yang efektif dalam mengatasi kemiskinan dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1, yaitu tanpa kemiskinan. Pendekatan ABCD mengutamakan pemanfaatan aset lokal yang dimiliki oleh komunitas, seperti sumber daya alam, keterampilan individu, jaringan sosial, dan kearifan lokal. This study explores how community empowerment based on local resources through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach can support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1, which is poverty eradication. The researcher employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach, utilizing Google Scholar to gather relevant literature, including analyses of ABCD, case studies, and its contributions to SDG 1. Data were processed through steps based on Miles and Huberman's theory, encompassing data reduction, presentation, and systematic conclusion drawing. The findings of this study conclude that the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach is an effective method for community empowerment in addressing poverty and supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1: no poverty. The ABCD approach emphasizes utilizing local community assets, such as natural resources, individual skills, social networks, and local wisdom.

Abstract

The middle-income trap (MIT) represents a significant challenge for emerging economies like Indonesia, where middle-class stagnation obstructs the transition to high-income status. This study explores strategies for the middle class to overcome MIT by analyzing YouTube content from channels such as Timothy Ronald and Satu Persen. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis methods, the research identifies recurring themes in economic challenges and proposed solutions. Data collection involved thematic analysis of relevant videos discussing productivity enhancement, education, and innovation strategies. The findings indicate that overcoming MIT requires a shift from consumption-driven to innovation-led economic contributions, emphasizing skill development, financial planning, and adaptation to technological shifts. The study highlights the potential of digital platforms as tools for public education and empowerment, aiming to equip the middle class with actionable strategies to drive sustainable economic transformation..

Abstract

Sustainable development in rural communities has become a pressing global challenge, particularly in terms of poverty alleviation, reducing inequality, and climate action. Islamic values, through the principles of Maqasid Syariah, offer a relevant approach to achieving these goals. This study aims to explore the application of Maqasid Syariah principles in sustainable development innovations focused on rural communities, as well as to understand the contribution of Islamic values in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research employs a deductive qualitative method with thematic analysis of data collected through literature review. Data sources include books, journal articles, and official publications related to Maqasid Syariah and sustainable development. The findings show that applying Islamic values, such as social justice, economic protection, and environmental preservation, can significantly support the attainment of the SDGs in rural communities. These findings suggest that Islamic systems like zakat and waqf hold potential for enhancing economic welfare and reducing inequality. This study proposes that integrating Islamic values into development policies can create a more inclusive and sustainable model of development. Thus, it is hoped that religious values serve not only as a spiritual foundation but also as a driving force in achieving holistic and equitable sustainable development for all of humanity.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential of animation media as a tool for da'wah from the perspective of Quranic verses relevant to the principles of da'wah. Animation media was chosen due to its high visual appeal, its ability to simplify complex religious concepts, and its relevance to the lifestyle of the digital generation. In this study, a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach was used. Data were collected through a literature review of Islamic sources, content analysis of available Islamic animation, and interviews with experts in the fields of da’wah and animation media. The results indicate that animation has great potential to support da’wah by delivering Islamic values in an engaging manner, especially for children and young generations. Other findings show that the use of animation as a media for da’wah often does not fully leverage the principles of Islamic da’wah as outlined in Quranic verses such as QS. An-Nahl: 125 and QS. Ali Imran: 104. The main challenges identified include the lack of high-quality Islamic animation production, limited understanding of audience preferences, and the dominance of non-Islamic content on digital platforms. This research concludes that a more systematic strategy is needed to integrate Islamic da’wah values into animation production. With the right approach, animation can become an effective and relevant media for supporting the spread of Islamic values in the digital age

Abstract

Regarding the alleged ban on wearing the hijab for female “Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka” (Paskibraka) members in 2024, political and religious relations are very important. Public policies relating to religious expression must consider human rights, including freedom of religion, recognized and protected by the Indonesian constitution. This article aims to (1) identify the government's and religious groups’ responses to these policies, (2) analyze Islamic religious law, and (3) describe the solution to the polemic in the context of Indonesian democracy. This research is library research with a qualitative approach. The discussion in this research, namely: First, this prohibition is considered to cause controversy because it is deemed to violate religious freedom and the rights of Muslim women, which causes discriminatory, contradictory attitudes and policies that are not by Pancasila. Second, the obligation to wear the hijab as written in QS. Al-Ahzab: 59, and HR. Abu Dawud., Muslim women must wear the hijab when leaving the house. This is done to cover the private parts and can help in religious observance, religious identity, and self-protection from others. Third, Some solutions to this problem are providing freedom to adhere to religion, providing a space for inclusive dialogue, providing enforcement of the principle of non-discrimination, and creating principles based on Pancasila values. So, the policies established maintain harmony, justice, and unity in the diversity of society.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the moral values contained in Mahfudzhot to enhance students' respect for their teachers. In the context of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), respect for teachers is a core value that has increasingly declined due to the influence of globalization and social media. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to analyze the moral values in Mahfudzhot from various sources. The findings indicate that Mahfudzhot contains profound moral messages, such as the importance of politeness, humility, and responsibility, which are relevant for building students' character. The expressions in Mahfudzhot provide guidance on respecting teachers as guides in knowledge and morality. Unfortunately, the application of these values is often limited to rote memorization without deep comprehension, resulting in suboptimal impacts on students' character development. This study recommends integrating Mahfudzhot values contextually into the pesantren curriculum to enhance the practice of students' respect for teachers. By strengthening manners and ethics through Mahfudzhot, it is expected to foster a harmonious relationship between teachers and students, supporting the success of character education in pesantren, despite the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of understanding Islamic values in relation to the environmental awareness and behavior of Generation Z in Bandar Lampung. Values such as tauhid, khalifah, fitrah, and mizan are understood to play an important role in shaping ecological awareness. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlation method. The study was conducted in Bandar Lampung with a population of Gen Z students (born 1997–2012). Primary data were collected using structured questionnaires. Purposive sampling was used to select 217 respondents based on criteria of age, location, and educational status. This sample is considered representative of analyzing the relationship between Islamic values and environmental awareness. Secondary data were obtained from literature and reports. For data analysis, the following steps were applied: 1) reliability testing using Cronbach's Alpha, 2) descriptive analysis, 3) Pearson correlation, and 4) multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between Islamic values, environmental awareness, and eco-friendly behavior. This study shows that understanding Islamic values has a strong relationship with environmental awareness (r = 0.861) and environmental care behavior (r = 0.546). Overall, these two variables explained 74.1% of the variance in environmental caring behavior, confirming the importance of Islamic education in raising ecological awareness.
