Abstract

Religious teachings are an urgent part of education to shape one's character and morals. In the digital era, multimedia is utilized as an effective tool to enhance the quality of teaching and make learning more engaging. This article aims to discuss the implementation of multimedia as a teaching aid in religious teaching in the digital age. The research method used is literature study by collecting data from relevant and up-to-date literature. Through a literature study, the author introduces the concept of multimedia and its benefits in teaching religious. In the context of multimedia in religious education, researchers employ content analysis to examine and interpret the content of multimedia materials used in teaching. This analysis involve identifying recurring themes, analyzing the alignment of multimedia content with religious teachings, and evaluating the effectiveness of multimedia elements (e.g., visuals, audio, interactivity) in conveying religious concepts. The results indicate that multimedia can enhance the teacher teaching process and improve the learning experience for participants. However, the use of multimedia in catechesis also presents challenges, such as technical issues and excessive usage. The author suggests a selective and thoughtful approach when utilizing multimedia in catechesis. This article is helpful for religious educators and catechists in understanding the significance of multimedia use in religious education in the digital age and implementing it effectively. In conclusion, this article emphasizes the imperative role of spiritual teachings in education for shaping individuals' character and morals, underscoring the significance of prudently integrating multimedia technology within religious learning.

Abstract

Social media has an important role in building and strengthening religious communities. Social media can be used to build and strengthen believers, in the current digital era social media has become a platform that is widely used by many people to interact and share information as well as a means to develop faith and strengthen brotherhood between religious communities. . In a religious context, social media can be a powerful tool for spreading religious messages and building solid religious communities. In this case the discussion includes community, religion and social media. Through this article, it is hoped that readers can find new inspiration and motivation to build a solid and connected religious community through social media. After all of the things above have been touched on, by using the literature study method, this article offers a solution that building a community of believers is not only through meetings or face-to-face encounters but can be done through social media.

Abstract

Seeing that the times are increasingly advanced and everyone cannot be separated from this technology, the author hereby raises the issue of character formation through digital catechesis. This brings new opportunities and challenges in character formation. Digital catechesis, which utilizes digital media to convey catechetical messages, can be an effective tool for reaching the younger generation and helping them develop good character. This study uses qualitative methods by collecting information through literature analysis. Data collection methods involve analyzing and drawing information from various written sources, such as books, scientific journals, and articles. By utilizing technology wisely, digital catechesis can become an integral part of sustainable and meaningful character formation for individuals and their religious communication. Apart from the many benefits of this technological advancement there are also challenges, but by utilizing technology wisely, digital catechesis can become a tool. which is effective in conveying religious messages, forming character, and strengthening spiritual ties in society. Therefore, it is important for the Catholic Church and catechists to take advantage of the opportunities that exist in this digital era to continue the mission of character formation and spreading religious values.

Abstract

In this rapid development of technology, digital catechesis for early childhood takes a role in the process of faith education for them. In providing education and teaching to children, new methods are needed that provide new innovations, especially in the catechesis process. Educational games play their role in educating the faith of early childhood children by utilizing platforms available in digital development, namely Quizizz and Kahoot which can be a means for parents and catechists to educate children's faith by utilizing technology so that faith education provided to children gains new innovations.

Abstract

This article emphasizes the importance of family catechesis in cultivating faith among children. The utilization of family catechesis can be an effective means of guiding and educating children in religious matters in a complex society that is increasingly influenced by adherence to secular values. Parental involvement is very important in this process. This article discusses the role of family catechesis and the importance of parents in educating children about faith. Use strategies to apply family catechesis to daily life, such as family prayer, reading and discussing scripture, celebrating religious holidays together, leading by example, providing space to ask questions and explore, and using technology and online resources. This article also discusses the challenges that may arise in the implementation of family catechesis, as well as solutions to overcome these challenges. Finally, the conclusion of this article highlights the importance of building a religious foundation for children in an increasingly complex world. Parents have an important role in guiding their children in religious affairs, in spiritual relationships, instilling religious teachings and introducing them to the world.

This literature review explores the transformative integration of technology in faith formation, particularly in catechesis. The shift toward digital platforms prompts a reevaluation of engaging modern learners. This article uncovers technology's advantages and challenges in catechetical contexts by assessing existing literature. Technology enables novel approaches to religious instruction, enhancing learner engagement and comprehension. Interactive tools, online resources, and multimedia enrich accessibility. However, concerns encompass potential superficiality, disruption, and traditional value retention. A balanced method emerges through synthesis, combining proven pedagogies with suitable technology for optimal outcomes. The review highlights the significance of a discerning and empathetic integration of technology in catechesis, fostering genuine spiritual growth within today's technology-immersed generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan cerita dan permainan inovatif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Kristiani pada anak-anak melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di program Minggu Gembira Gereja St. Dismas Pejampi, yang melibatkan anak-anak usia 3-12 tahun sebagai peserta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas, antusiasme, dan interaksi anak-anak selama kegiatan, serta wawancara dengan pembina dan orang tua untuk mengeksplorasi dampak dari pendekatan ini terhadap perilaku anak di rumah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan temuan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan bercerita dan permainan inovatif secara signifikan meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman anak-anak terhadap nilai-nilai Kristiani, serta berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter yang lebih baik di kalangan anak-anak. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa metode ini tidak hanya efektif dalam pembinaan iman anak-anak, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pastoral berbasis cerita dan permainan inovatif dapat menjadi model yang relevan dan bermanfaat untuk diterapkan dalam pendidikan iman anak-anak, dengan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan metode pengajaran agama yang lebih menarik dan berdampak.

Abstract

This article explores the role of caregivers in fostering independence among children with special needs at Bhakti Luhur Putra Dormitory. The study focuses on parenting strategies that enhance self-care abilities, which are crucial for improving these children's quality of life and social integration. Despite existing studies on caregiving for children with disabilities, limited attention has been given to institutional settings where personalized care and empowerment-based approaches are applied. This study uses a qualitative research methodology, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to collect data from eleven Bhakti Luhur Putra Dormitory caregivers. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observations, and document analysis involving eleven caregivers with significant experience. The findings highlight that emotional support, structured training, and personalized care are vital strategies for promoting independence. These approaches foster children's confidence, encourage self-reliance, and help them integrate into broader social environments. This research provides practical insights for improving caregiving practices in institutional contexts. It contributes to the literature by offering a focused understanding of how specific caregiving strategies impact the autonomy of children with special needs. Recommendations include integrating emotional intelligence and structured independence training into caregiver development programs for better developmental outcomes. The study also highlights the importance of adapting care strategies to meet the unique needs of each child, ensuring long-term benefits for their personal growth and social participation.

Abstract

Penerapan metode Role Playing dalam Kurikulum Pastoral menjadi fokus utama dalam upaya mendalami pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral pada mahasiswa. Melalui permainan peran, mahasiswa tidak hanya mempelajari teori, tetapi juga merasakan dan menerapkan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam situasi simulasi yang nyata. Studi pustaka dari penelitian terkini mendukung konsep bahwa metode Role Playing tidak hanya memperluas pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap nilai-nilai keagamaan, tetapi juga membantu dalam pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan emosional, seperti komunikasi, empati, dan kerjasama. Dengan terlibat secara aktif dalam peran yang berbeda-beda, mahasiswa dapat melihat nilai-nilai keagamaan dari berbagai perspektif, memperluas wawasan mereka terhadap perbedaan pandangan, serta meningkatkan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna. Penggunaan metode Role Playing dalam Kurikulum Pastoral bukan hanya tentang pendalaman pemahaman konseptual, tetapi juga memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode ini tidak hanya memperkaya pembelajaran keagamaan, tetapi juga memperkuat fondasi pendidikan pastoral yang holistik dan mendalam untuk membentuk individu yang memiliki integritas moral dan spiritual yang kuat.

Abstract

Pastoral entrepreneurship is an innovative approach that integrates spiritual values ​​with efforts to empower the people's economy. The Catholic Church uses this concept to help people become financially independent, strengthen community solidarity, and increase prosperity based on Gospel values. This research explores the application of the 7 Steps of Pastoral Work, from introduction to evaluation, which enable the Church to plan and manage entrepreneurship programs systematically. By using the library study method, researchers try to collect literary sources such as Church documents, scientific articles, and books that are relevant to the research, then integrate certain themes to draw conclusions. The results show that pastoral entrepreneurship contributes significantly to increasing people's income, creating jobs, and strengthening spiritual values. However, its implementation faces challenges, such as limited resources, lack of entrepreneurial skills, and people's resistance to change. To overcome these obstacles, a strategic approach, ongoing training and cooperation between parties is needed. By integrating economic and spiritual aspects, pastoral entrepreneurship has the potential to be an effective means for the Church to empower people as a whole and create sustainable prosperity in the community.
