Abstract

This exploratory systematic review provides the first comprehensive examination of research at the intersection of economic diplomacy and agricultural development. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 423 Scopus records were systematically screened, with 127 studies meeting inclusion criteria for analysis using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool. The review identified four distinct research clusters: agricultural trade promotion and export development (35.4%), international cooperation and diplomatic initiatives (25.2%), market access and competitiveness strategies (22.0%), and policy analysis and institutional frameworks (17.3%). Geographic analysis revealed substantial focus on developing countries (78.7%), particularly in Asia (42.5%) and Africa (31.5%), addressing a critical gap in understanding economic diplomacy applications in these contexts. Integrated multi-stakeholder approaches showed promising outcomes for enhancing agricultural trade competitiveness. However, significant methodological limitations constrain findings. The predominance of case study designs, limited experimental research, and restriction to English-language Scopus-indexed publications limit both comprehensiveness and the strength of causal inferences about intervention effectiveness. Practically, policymakers in developing countries should prioritize multi-stakeholder diplomatic frameworks integrating agricultural ministries, trade promotion agencies, and private sector actors to enhance export competitiveness. Additionally, development agencies and researchers must invest in rigorous experimental studies to build evidence-based guidelines for economic diplomacy interventions, moving beyond descriptive approaches to establish what works and under what conditions. This foundation enables future comprehensive reviews and targeted empirical investigation in this emerging interdisciplinary field.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out as an effort to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Pasirhandap area, Pagerwangi Village, through digital-based marketing assistance. The main problem faced by MSME actors in this area is limited access to digital technology and a lack of understanding of modern promotional strategies. Therefore, this program was designed to provide practical and applicable training, ranging from brand identity creation, utilization of digital platforms such as Shopee and Grab Merchant, to education on the importance of business legality. The program was implemented in three stages: an initial seminar, technical training, and direct mentoring. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and ability to implement digital marketing strategies, as well as increased awareness of the importance of innovation and technological adaptation in the development of small businesses.

Abstract

The halal industry in Indonesia faces significant challenges in establishing a sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) in an increasingly competitive global market. One key factor that could support this advantage is the adoption of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices and the promotion of green knowledge sharing. This study investigates the relationship between GHRM practices, green knowledge sharing, and the achievement of SCA within the Indonesian halal industry. Employing a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology, the study utilizes the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory to analyze relevant literature. The search was conducted using Scopus and Google Scholar databases, focusing on GHRM, knowledge sharing, and competitive advantage. The findings indicate that GHRM positively influences SCA, with green knowledge sharing acting as both a mediator and moderator that strengthens this effect. Additionally, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), driven by green leadership, further contributes to the achievement of SCA. This research offers theoretical insights into the application of RBV within the halal industry and underscores the significance of green knowledge sharing and OCB in fostering sustainable competitive advantage. The practical implication of these findings highlights the importance of implementing effective GHRM practices and cultivating a green knowledge-sharing culture to enhance sustainability in the halal sector. The study's limitation lies in its reliance on existing literature, without empirical analysis in the field.
