Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution, which was all technological, made all aspects continue to innovate so that they remained optimal, especially in the world of education. The current educational challenge is that there is still a lack of more interactive learning media using ICT, so that educators or teachers must be more extra in mastering technology in the manufacture and development of learning media. This study aims to develop learning media using classpoints that are easier on learning materials taught by each educator. With the same explanation as the previous ppt media with this feature there are many things to develop, especially in questions that the teacher can directly make on slides with various types of answers. The research model used applies ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with a quantitative descriptive approach using interviews and questionnaires. A total of 36 students were the subjects in this study. With the results of the study showing that students answered above the range > 60% to 100%, it means that students agree to strongly agree that classpoint learning media is fun and interactive and easy to use.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran elektronik dengan memanfaatkan perangkat teknologi seperti komputer, tablet maupun telefon pintar telah berkembang pesat pasca pandemic COVID-19 namun belum menghasilkan temuan yang konklusif. Maka, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menginvestigasi minat siswa terhadap sistem pembelajaran elektronik berbasis Moodle. Metode yang digunakan End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) dengan pengujian sistem pada Moodle dengan sampel penelitian 70 siswa. Moodle merupakan sistem pengelolaan pembelajaran elektronik dimana guru dapat menyusun mata pelajaran, membuat group kelas, memberikan materi (mengunggah materi), memberikan tugas baik berbentuk ujian, kuis, tes, mengumpulkan tugas, menilai tugas yang dapat digunakan secara sinkronus maupun asinkronus. Hasil uji EUCS menunjukkan bahwa setelah menggunakan pembelajaran elektronik minat siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 86,34%. Selain itu capaian hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Penerapan e-learning berbasis Moodle meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar karena siswa dapat mengakses kapanpun dan dimanapun. Abstract: Electronic learning using is utilizing technological devices such as computers, tablets, and smartphones has developed rapidly after the COVID-19 pandemic but has not produced conclusive findings. Thus, the purpose of this learning is to investigate students' interest in Moodle-based electronic learning systems. The method used is End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) by testing the system on Moodle with a research sample of 70 students. Moodle is an electronic learning management system where teachers can arrange subjects, create class groups, provide material (upload material), give assignments in the form of exams, quizzes, and tests, collect evaluations, and assess assignments that can be used synchronously or asynchronously. EUCS test results show that after using electronic learning, students’ interest has increased by 86.34%. In addition, student achievement also experienced a significant increase. The application of Moodle-based e-learning increases students' interest in learning because students can access it anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dengan judul pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 5,959 dan ttabel= 1,994 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dk = n1 + n2 – 2 =70 sehingga terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel (5,959 > 1994) maka ha diterima dan h0 ditolak, sehingga terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara.

Abstract

This study investigates public sentiment patterns during the 2024 U.S. Presidential Race through machine learning analysis of social media data from X (formerly Twitter). Using a dataset of 500 annotated tweets collected from Kaggle, we employ BERT-based sentiment analysis, temporal engagement tracking, and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling to examine discourse across five major candidates. The analysis reveals predominantly positive sentiment (54.2%) in political discussions, with established party candidates receiving higher positive engagement. Temporal analysis demonstrates strong correlations between major campaign events and public engagement, with presidential debates generating peak interaction levels. Topic modeling identifies five key themes driving voter discourse: economic policy, healthcare, climate change, social justice, and foreign policy. Positive content consistently achieved 20-30% higher engagement rates than negative content, though negative sentiments showed sharp spikes during controversies. Our findings contribute to understanding digital political discourse dynamics and offer practical insights for campaign strategy in the social media era. The study's limitations include platform-specific constraints and a two-month observation period, suggesting opportunities for cross-platform analysis in future research.

Abstract

Generally, new prospective students often experience confusion in choosing a major in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering Program at Universitas Al Washliyah Labuhanbatu that truly matches their academic abilities and interests. Often, the decision to choose a major is influenced by the environment, such as following close friends or advice from parents, without considering the students' true potential and talents. However, choosing an inappropriate major can negatively impact their academic future and career. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective students to recognize and understand their academic abilities as well as their special interests and talents. The expert system for major determination developed using the Certainty Factor method is expected to provide an effective solution by combining various indicators of interests, talents, and academic abilities of prospective students. This method utilizes established rules to calculate the certainty level (CF value) for each possible major based on the data and characteristics possessed by the student. By combining CF values from various facts, the system can provide recommendations for the major that best fits the student's greatest potential. This model does not rely solely on academic scores but also considers special interests such as social, creative, and artistic talents possessed by students, making the major selection decision more precise and directed. Thus, this Decision Support System can assist the Faculty of Computer Science, Informatics Engineering Program at Universitas Al Washliyah Labuhanbatu in selecting truly potential new students and providing appropriate recommendations, thereby minimizing the risk of wrong major choices and increasing the likelihood of academic and career success for prospective students.

Abstract

Scientific article writing training is an essential skill for students and academics in conveying their research findings and scientific thinking. However, various challenges such as limited academic vocabulary, writing structure, and time often become obstacles. This study aims to develop effective writing strategies and evaluate Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based training as an innovative solution to improve the quality and productivity of scientific article writing skills and understand the ethics of using AI in academic writing. The method used was a quasi-experimental model with a structured training model, utilizing AI-based tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and SciSpace. The results showed a significant increase in the quality and productivity of the training participants' writing. This training provides evidence that an AI approach can be an effective tool in academic literacy.

Abstract

NodeMCU is an open source IoT platform, NodeMCU ESP8266 can be used for Internet of Things (IOT) because the facilities are equipped with Wi-Fi, RFID is a process of identifying objects or objects using radio frequency, this device is widely sold in stores online at a very low price. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research, while the data collection method used is observation andto study, the design method uses the method postage type. This system tests every piece of hardware used and tests the software from a specific functional perspective. The result of this study is the teacher attendance system using Microcontroller NodeMCU ESP8266 replace the manual attendance recording model in the attendance book by writing the entry and rturn hours and filling in the teacher's signature with id card attached to the device RFID connected to microcontroller NodeMCU ESP8266. Thus, reducing the occurrence human error when recap attendance, and reduce paper use.

Abstract

One of the causes of the failure of hybrid corn cultivation activities is pests and diseases which are the result of complex or unbalanced interactions between the three components in weak aquatic ecosystems, ferocious pathogens and deteriorating environmental quality. With that, it is necessary to have an application that can help farmers to take care of corn plants so that they are not attacked by pests and diseases. The application system created in this study is an expert system that can analyze the types of diseases in corn. The expert system in this study uses the Forward Changing method. This expert system is expected to be able to assist farmers in solving farmer problems in detecting corn disease by making applications using WEB, with MySQL and Xampp databases.

With this expert system, it is able to make it easier to detect digestive diseases with the help of information technology. And the data makes it easier for medicine to detect this disease. By making applications using WEB, with MySQL and XAmpp databases. By using the Forward Chaining method.
