Abstract

Online businesses are able to access a broad and global market, without being limited by geographical boundaries. Indonesian society has a large number of online users. This opens up huge online market opportunities. Online buyers who tend to change places of purchase are interested in doing research. In accordance with this, research was carried out to optimize online purchases through motivation within the framework of the self-determination theory concept and adding one variable, namely satisfaction. The method used is quantitative research with survey methods and is an equation model structure with the measurement tool WrapPLS 7.0. The research results show that optimizing purchases by looking at motivation uses self-determination theory consisting of external regulation, introjected regulation, identified regulation, integration regulation and intrinsic regulation. The model becomes better with the mediation of consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Tegalsari Village is located in Ambulu District, Jember Regency. The people's livelihood is generally in agriculture, either as farmers, farm laborers, as well as casual daily laborers and animal husbandry. In September 2021 a new young entrepreneur was formed, named Chips "ENSI". These chips are marketed directly to end users, through the Pre-Order mechanism or based on orders, but the number of sales has not been in accordance with the target, even though it has been able to cover the initial capital issued. In addition, there are problems in obtaining good quality cassava which results in a decrease in the quality and quantity of production and product packaging design. Based on this situation analysis, the main problem in the target community is the need for assistance to new young entrepreneurs of cassava chips, which is carried out through the selection of product raw materials, product processing, product innovation, packaging design and marketing (marketing strategy). The implementation of Community Service activities in the form of product raw material selection, product processing, Product Innovation, packaging design and marketing (marketing strategy) in Tegalsari Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency went well and smoothly, and received full support from the surrounding environment. Finally, "ENSI" cassava chips have become a quality product and are very worthy of being marketed, because they taste good, have attractive packaging, and are affordable. New marketing strategies need to be implemented to face increasingly fierce competition.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of digital learning media and learning interest on learning outcomes based on gender. This study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) through Multi-Group Analysis (MGA), involving 254 students from Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Singosari, Malang, to measure the effect of digital learning media and student learning interest on learning outcomes. The results of structural test showed that neither digital learning media nor learning interest had a significant effect on learning outcomes, and gender did not moderate the relationship. Further, based on PLS-MGA, it is found that gender did not moderate the relationship in the model. Suggestions for future research include exploring the relationship between students' learning styles and the use of learning media, conducting longitudinal studies to evaluate the long-term impacts of digital learning media on outcomes, and considering factors such as personality, motivation, and age differences as moderating variables to gain a more comprehensive understanding of their effects on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The use of monotonous learning media causes students to tend to feel bored and pay less attention to the teacher when explaining the material. This condition leads to lack of interest on learning in students towards geography. In addition, it also has an impact on learning outcomes that are less than optimal. The aims of this research were (1) to determine the feasibility of HML on hydrosphere material, (2) to find out the effect of HML on the learning interest, and (3) to figure out the influence of HML on the geography learning outcomes. Lee & Owen’s Research and Development (R&D) model was conducted on this research. 30 X IPS 1 students as the experimental group and 30 X IPS 2 students as the control group in MA Al Hidayah Wajak, Kabupaten Malang were participated in this research. Observation, interviews, questionnaires, pre-test, and post-test, as well as documentation were used to collect the data. The qualitative data was analyzed by analyzing the suggestions and criticisms given by the material expert, the media expert, and students, whilst questionnaire analysis by the material expert, the media expert, students, and mean analysis were conducted to analyzed the quantitative data in this research. Furthermore, independent sample t-test was also tested to examine the effect of the used of HML. The results showed that (1) based on the evaluation by the material expert and the media expert, an average score of 96% was obtained, which meant HML was suitable for geography’s hydrosphere material learning, (2) the used of HML had a positive effect on the learning interest with sig. 0,000 < 0,05, and (3) HML media had a positive effect on the geography learning outcomes with sig. 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of negative campaigns during the 2024 presidential and legislative elections on social media platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, has raised concerns regarding their impact on democratic ethics and societal harmony. From the perspective of Islamic constitutional law, these campaigns are considered detrimental, aligning with the concept of ghibah and slander, which are prohibited in Islam. This study employs a descriptive-analytical approach based on library research to differentiate between negative and black campaigns. Negative campaigns use verifiable data to highlight opponents' shortcomings, while black campaigns involve unfounded accusations and slander aimed at character assassination. The research identifies key patterns in the dissemination of these campaigns: targeting young and active social media users, repetitively spreading negative content, and exploiting pseudo-legitimacy through manipulated media. The analysis highlights the inefficacy of Indonesia's Law No. 7 of 2017 in addressing these digital challenges. The findings emphasize that while negative campaigns may rely on factual data, their intent to discredit opponent conflicts with ethical and moral principles, potentially fostering division and distrust. In contrast, Islamic teachings advocate campaigns centered on virtues and constructive dialogue. This study calls for strengthened regulatory measures and public awareness to counteract the adverse effects of unethical campaign practices, ensuring the preservation of democratic integrity and societal unity.
