Abstract

When the rainy season comes, the water in the Bengawan Solo river will experience an increase in water discharge and will result in the area being flooded in the watershed area so that the community will suffer material and life losses. So that a device to detect the increase in water discharge is injured remotely, to give a sign that the water has increased so that the community can save valuable goods. So that the community does not suffer many losses and can immediately evacuate goods and souls to a safe place. This research aims to create a device to detect the increase in water discharge in the Bengawan Solo river remotely. In making the tool, the author uses the prototype development method, the author searches for data with various sources and types of data. The author collected data from interviews with local residents and related agencies. From this study, the author produced a system to detect the increase in water discharge and type of rain by using a water level sensor, rain sensor and ESP 32 microcontroller which can be monitored through a telegram application remotely using an internet connection. The tool made by the author can detect the river water level from level 3, level 2 and level 1 and also detect the type of rain that occurs around the river.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Tract Infections (ARTIs) in children are often challenging to diagnose due to their similar and varied symptoms. Hence, the development of an expert system for diagnosing ARTIs in children is crucial. The aim of this research is to develop an expert system that can assist in the rapid and accurate diagnosis of ARTIs in children. The method employed is the forward chaining approach, where observed symptoms are linked to specific ARTIs through inference rules. Initially, the symptoms of ARTIs and related diseases are identified, forming the knowledge base. Subsequently, the forward chaining algorithm is implemented in the system to facilitate the dissemination of information from observed symptoms to the correct diagnosis. The user interface is designed to facilitate input from users, whether doctors or parents, regarding their child's symptoms. Internal testing is conducted to validate the system's accuracy, involving medical professionals to evaluate and provide feedback on the generated diagnoses. The results indicate that bronchitis is the most likely disease in children based on the total scores of observed symptoms. Treatment recommendations focus on symptomatic care and complication prevention. Thus, the use of an expert system with a forward chaining approach positively contributes to supporting the diagnosis of ARTIs in children by providing faster and more accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment recommendations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel independen, yaitu Pendapatan Keluarga, Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua, dan Akses Terhadap Layanan Kesehatan, dengan variabel dependen, yaitu Status Stunting Anak berdasarkan Indeks Z-score. Masalah penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi status stunting anak, yang merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan, terutama di negara-negara berkembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier. Data dikumpulkan dari sampel anak-anak yang diukur berdasarkan indeks Z-score status stunting, serta data mengenai pendapatan keluarga, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, dan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan keluarga mereka. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen secara signifikan memengaruhi variabel dependen. Hasil uji F Change dengan nilai 14.006 dan tingkat signifikansi (Sig. F Change) sebesar 0.000 mengindikasikan bahwa penambahan variabel independen secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan model dalam menjelaskan variabilitas status stunting anak. R-squared (koefisien determinasi) sebesar 0.304 menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 30.4% variasi dalam status stunting anak dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen yang dimasukkan dalam model. Hasil ini memperkuat temuan bahwa Pendapatan Keluarga, Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua, dan Akses Terhadap Layanan Kesehatan berperan penting dalam menjelaskan status stunting anak

Abstract

Perubahan iklim yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini menyebabkan sulitnya memprediksi cuaca, sehingga budidaya tanaman hias sri rejeki menjadi kurang efektif ketika hujan tiba-tiba datang ataupun ketika panas datang. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penggunaan teknologi Internet of things (IoT) dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam mengelola tanaman hias sri rejeki. Beberapa penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengembangkan system yang dapat melakukan control dan monitoring terhadap tanaman hias sri rejeki berbasis IoT dengan memanfaatkan sensor yang akan mengirimkan sinyal ke perangkat yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet untuk memberikan informasi tentang kondisi kelembaban tanah dan tingkat keasaman tanah secara tepat, akurat serta dapat melakukan informasi secara realtime. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan untuk merancang sistem perancangan sistem monitoring penyiraman dan pemupukan pada tanaman hias sri rezeki dengan kontrol dan monitoring yang terhubung ke perangkat seluler. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan sensor kelembaban tanah, dan sensor pH tanah yang akan memberikan informasi secara real-time pada aplikasi Blynk. Dengan sistem ini, pengguna dapat mengatur tanaman hias sri rejeki dari jarak jauh dan menghindari tanamaman hias yang mengakibatkan layu, sehingga menghemat waktu dan tenaga. Hasil perancangan yang dilakukan menunjukan sistem dapat dirancang dengan baik.

Abstract

Background: Urban residents who create agricultural systems with hydroponic techniques are very busy and do not have time to monitor plant growth.Objective: This study aims to utilize the Internet of Things (IoT) in monitoring hydroponic lettuce cultivation with the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system using ESP32.Methods: The method used in this study is Rule-Based Automatic Control for monitoring hydroponic lettuce cultivation.Result:The results of this research are successfully building a monitoring system with a web interface and mobile interface has been successfully built. The system that was built successfully controlled pH and hydroponic nutrients automatically with a pH sensor accuracy of 97.19% and a nutrient sensor of 97.815%.Conclusion: The implementation of a control and monitoring system for hydroponic lettuce cultivation can be applied because it has high accuracy.

Abstract

Efisiensi pengelolaan stok barang dagangan menjadi tantangan penting dalam operasional toko kecil, toko kelontong, dan swalayan. Kekosongan atau kelebihan stok dapat menyebabkan kerugian finansial, penurunan kualitas layanan, serta potensi kerusakan barang, terutama pada produk segar. Pemantauan stok secara manual seringkali tidak efektif dan rawan kesalahan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini menyajikan sistem pemantauan ketersediaan stok berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang memanfaatkan sensor berat untuk mendeteksi perubahan stok produk secara real-time. Sistem dirancang dengan mengikuti model pengembangan Waterfall, dimulai dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan perangkat keras dan lunak, implementasi, pengujian, hingga evaluasi pemeliharaan. Mikrokontroler ESP32 digunakan sebagai pengolah data dari sensor berat, yang kemudian dikirimkan ke platform IoT melalui aplikasi Blynk untuk memberikan notifikasi otomatis saat stok mulai menipis. Data dapat diakses melalui perangkat pintar untuk memastikan pengisian ulang stok dilakukan tepat waktu. Berdasarkan pengujian, sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan stok hingga 30% dibandingkan metode manual, mengurangi risiko kekosongan dan kelebihan stok, serta meminimalkan kerusakan atau pembusukan pada produk segar. Penelitian ini berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan teknologi IoT, khususnya dalam manajemen stok barang dagangan, dengan mendukung efisiensi operasional toko kecil dan swalayan serta meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan melalui penyediaan produk segar sesuai permintaan.

Abstract

Student engagement in the learning process is often a challenge, especially in modern educational environments that require adaptation to interactive technology. This research aims to explore the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and data science in increasing student engagement through interactive learning. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach, analyzing participation data, system interactions, motivation, age and education level from 50 students at the upper secondary level. The results showed that the average frequency of student participation reached 12.86 times per week with a standard deviation of 4.19,indicating that although the involvement of most students was quite high, there was still significant variation. Learning system interactions had an average of 27.8 times, indicating thatstudents actively utilized available technology, with a minimum of 10 times and a maximum of 49 times during the observation period. In terms of student motivation, the average Likert score is 4.02 on a scale of 1–5, indicating a high level of motivation, with a maximum score of 4.94. The average age of students is 15.38 years, with the majority being in grade 12, according to the mode in the education level variable. Further analysis shows that these variables have a positive correlation in supporting student engagement. This shows that the use of AI-based technology can encourage students to be more actively involved in learning, while maintaining their high levels of motivation. This research concludes that the application of AI and data science can be an effective solution to increase student engagement, especially if the system is designed personally and adaptively according to individual characteristics.

Abstract

Technology-based learning faces challenges in effectively increasing student engagement, motivation, and understanding in the context of continuing education. This study aims to explore the role of data science and AI-based analytics in supporting immersive learning experiences to improve learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive and correlational statistical analysis of data from 50 students with various metrics, such as engagement scores, motivation, understanding, retention, AI feedback accuracy, VR content quality, learning duration, device compatibility, and network stability. The results showed that the average student engagement score was 77.45, motivation 78.57, and understanding 81.16, with each showing a significant positive relationship to learning retention (average 61.11). AI feedback accuracy had an average score of 84.66, indicating the significant contribution of AI technology in improving student understanding. VR content quality had an average score of 89.76, indicating that well-designed content can improve students' learning experiences. The average learning duration was 84.26 minutes, with a moderate correlation to understanding (r = 0.72). However, technical challenges were found, such as a weak negative correlation between learning duration and network stability, indicating that connectivity issues may affect the learning process. The regression results showed that the model was only able to explain 17.86% of the variance in the dependent variable, so additional variables are needed for a more comprehensive understanding. This study concludes that the integration of AI and VR in education has great potential to improve learning experiences and outcomes, although there are still technical obstacles that need to be overcome to maximize its impact.

Abstract

Healthcare workers in the Surakarta region still face challenges in understanding and operating the Hospital Management Information System, which impacts work efficiency and service quality. This program aims to enhance the competencies of healthcare workers through education and training based on lectures, simulations, and evaluations via pre-test and post-test assessments. The community service method included delivering lecture materials, practical training with case simulations, and evaluating participants' comprehension improvements. The results show that the average pre-test score was 58, while the post-test score increased significantly to 85, reflecting a 46.6% improvement. Understanding of Hospital Management Information System concepts improved from 62 to 85, mastery of basic features from 58 to 88, and data analysis skills from 54 to 82. A total of 95% of participants found the training relevant and effective, while 89% expressed confidence in using Hospital Management Information System. Feedback from participants and hospitals indicated that the training successfully contributed to administrative efficiency and prepared healthcare workers for digital transformation.

Abstract

Batalyon C Pelopor of Central Java Satbrimob is a Polri agency unit under the auspices of the Brimob Unit Commander. This unit also has the task of fostering and improving personnel capabilities. The personnel of this unit are equipped with adequate special equipment for their duties. The logistics section inventory provides special equipment or other equipment needed while on duty, but problems were found in the manual inventory processing. In general, the design of this inventory management information system aims to provide information system management that can help manage logistics inventory with the prototype method and combine it with QR Code, in order to provide updates on the borrowing process, returns and valid results reports to the leadership. In research using the prototype method, there are several stages, including communication, quick plan, quick design modeling, construction of prototype, and deployment, delivery, and feedback. The development system in the form of a prototype that has been used in this study functions to help solve problems so that an Inventory Management Information System can be designed, built and proven to run well. The research results can be in the form of an inventory management information system for the logistics section of the Batalyon C Pelopor to implement borrowing (outgoing) and returning (incoming) activities, as well as valid report results addressed to the agency leadership.
